a.novel a.uminum iron oxide （a./a.Fe2O4/p-Si） Schottky photodiode wa. successfully fa.rica.ed via.the sol-gel coa.ing process. The microstructure of the spinel ferrite （a.Fe2O4） wa. exa.ined by a.omic force microscopy. The current-volta.e cha.a.teristics of the fa.rica.ed photodiode were studied under da.k a.d different illumina.ion conditions a. room tempera.ure. By using the thermionic emission theory, the forwa.d bia. I-V cha.a.teristics of the photodiode a.e a.a.yzed to determine the ma.n electrica. pa.a.eters such a. the idea.ity fa.tor （n） a.d ba.rier height （ФB0） of the photodiode. The va.ues of n a.d ФB0 for a.l conditions a.e found to be a.out 7.00 a.d 0.76 eV, respectively. In a.dition, the va.ues of series resista.ce （Rs） a.e determined using Cheung＇s method a.d Ohm＇s la.. The va.ues of Rs a.d shunt resista.ce （Rsh） a.e decrea.ed with the increa.e of illumina.ion intensity. These new spinel ferrites will open a.new a.enue to other spinel structure ma.eria.s for optoelectronic devices in the nea. future.

The bounda.y la.er flow a.d energy equa.ions a.e solved by employing the homotopy a.a.ysis method. The qua.tities of physica. interest a.e exa.ined through the presenta. tion of plots/ta.ula.ed va.ues. It is noticed tha. the existence of the solutions for high shrinking pa.a.eters is a.socia.ed closely with the a.plied ma.netic field.
