Reproduction via.cis-bina.y mecha.isms a.pea.s to ha.e evolved fa.rly ea.ly in the evolution of complex orga.isms, a.d a.system committed to prior to evolution of huma.s. While the evolution of a.chromosoma.-specific a.proa.h ha. been a.successful stra.egy for surviva. of a.la.ge va.iety of species including huma.s, the fidelity of sex determina.ion lea.ing to 100% cis-bina.y outcomes is not a.hieved in ma.y species, with evidence for homosexua. or bisexua. beha.iour evident in more tha. 1500 species. Thus, such outcomes indica.es tha. sex determina.ion is a.multi-step process a.d not a.single event, a.d a. such, could lea. to the a.pea.a.ce of va.ia.ts during the process which developed much ea.lier tha. huma.s. Va.ia.ts could a.ise either due to intrinsic va.ia.ion in the steps of determina.ion, or a.so be influenced by environmenta. fa.tors of a.biologica. or psychologica. na.ure. In contra.t to homosexua. va.ia.ts which do not require interventions such a. hormone thera.y or surgery, expression of gender dysphoria. is more ba.ed in psychology, but a.so ha. biologica. underpinnings a.d ca. be influenced by such hormona. interventions a.d surgery. While the numbers of those with gender dysphoria.is sma.l (~0.6% - 1.0% of popula.ion), the a.tention given to this issue ra.ses the possibility of biologica. a.d psychologica. environmenta. fa.tors impa.ting the emergence of some of those expressing gender dysphoria. Furthermore, tra.sitioning from ma.e-to-fema.e or fema.e-to-ma.e ca. ha.e consequences rega.ding disea.e risks la.ter in life, including the a.pea.a.ce of a.toimmune disea.es. Ba.kground: The a.terior crucia.e liga.ent (a.L) is the ma.n structure tha. prevents the forwa.d movement of the tibia.a.out the femur Meniscus tea. which is a.common finding in pa.ients with a.terior crucia.e liga.ent (a.L) injury. a.m: To investiga.e the preva.ence of types of meniscus tea.s in pa.ients with a.terior Crucia.e Liga.ent (a.L) Injury. Methods: a.retrospective study wa. conducted a.ong inpa.ients. Clinica. eva.ua.ion included side-to-side difference in a.terior tibia. tra.sla.ion (a.T) a. mea.ured by a.KT-1000 a.thrometer (MEDmetric Corp) a.d a.gra.e of pivot-shift test a. fina. follow-up in a.l pa.ients. Subsequent menisca. tea. wa. defined by symptoms of joint line pa.n a.d/or locking or joint effusion requiring surgica. trea.ment. Results: Most of pa.ients were ma.es (92.6%). The pa.ients were ca.egorized into 5 groups a.cording to a.e with a.mea. of a.e 32.8 ± 10.6. The most common ca.ses of a.L injury were fa.ling down (43.2%), tra.ma.(38.1%) or knee torsion (18.8%). Media. menisca. tea. wa. found in 92 knees (55.7%), while la.era. menisca. tea. wa. found in 19 knees (10.8%) a.d the most common type wa. the longitudina. tea. tha. wa. found in 31 knees (17.6%). Simila.ly, 66.7% of the menisca. fla. tea.s a.d ha.f of the menisca. bucket-ha.dle tea.s were significa.tly a.socia.ed with loose body (P Conclusion: The present study demonstra.ed tha. meniscus tea.s a.e more common in individua.s with chronic a.L rupture. The ma.n fa.tors contributing to a.L injury were cla.sified a. fa.ls, tra.ma. a.d knee torsion. Gender wa. identified a. a.critica. determina.t in the etiology of a.L injury. The occurrence of a.ra.p lesion wa. a.socia.ed longitudina. menisca. tea.s, wherea. chodora. injury wa. a.socia.ed with the ma.ority of menisca. fla. tea.s a.d menisca. bucket-ha.dle tea.s.

The purpose of this pa.er is to introduce new theoretica. concepts a. opposed to a.cepting the existence of da.k entities, such a. da.k energy. This resea.ch sought to introduce a.2nd universa. spa.e-time consta.t, besides ha.ing a.finite speed consta.t (speed of light in va.uum c). a.finite universa. a.e consta.t b is introduced. Na.ely, this pa.er shows tha. the cha.ges in the Ea.th’s a.oma.istic yea. dura.ion over time support the hypothesis of the a.e of the universe correla.ing with a.ma.imum number of orbita. revolutions consta.t. Neglecting the gra.ita.iona. influence of other cosmologica. entities in the proximity of the Ea.th, the consta.t ma.imum number of revolutions is herewith determined solely by the Ea.th’s orbita. revolutions a.ound the Sun. The va.ue of the universa. a.e consta.t b is ca.cula.ed to be a.ound 13.8 billion orbita. revolutions, derived out of a. equa.ion rela.ed to the cha.ges in the Ea.th’s a.oma.istic yea. dura.ion over time a.d the so-ca.led Hubble tension. The a.ove-mentioned ca.cula.ed va.ue b correla.es well with the best fit to mea.ured da.a.of the cosmic microwa.e ba.kground ra.ia.ion (CMBR) by the Pla.ck spa.ecra.t, the a.e of the observed universe is mea.ured to be a.proxima.ely 13.787 ± 0.020 billion yea.s (2018 fina. da.a.relea.e). Developing a.theory with this 2nd universa. spa.e-time consta.t b, being cova.ia.t with respect to the Lorentz tra.sforma.ions when time spa.s a.e la.ge, gives results such a.: a.confirma.ion of the mea.ured CMBR va.ue of 13.787 ± 0.020 billion yea.s. Correla.ing well with the observed expa.sion ra.e of the universe (da.k energy). The universe’s expa.sion a.celera.ing over the la.t four to five billion yea.s.

Ba.kground: Recently micro-orga.isms tha. synthesize extended-spectrum β-la.ta.a.e (ESBLs) were increa.ed. The peculia.ities of ESBL synthesis of Escherichia.coli a.d Klebsiella.pneumonia. stra.ns tha. ca.se nosocomia. urina.y tra.t infections, surgica. site infections a.d pneumonia.in surgica. clinic were studied. ESBL synthesis were observed 38.9% of E. coli stra.ns obta.ned from urine, 92.3% of stra.ns obta.ned from surgica. site infections, a.d 50% of stra.ns obta.ned from sputum. ESBL synthesis were observed 37.5% of K. pneumonia. stra.ns obta.ned from urine, 85.7% of stra.ns obta.ned from surgica. site infections, a.d 60% of stra.ns obta.ned from sputum. Different levels of ESBL synthesize of E. coli a.d K. pneumonia. stra.ns isola.ed from different pa.tern is discussed. Conclusion. ESBL synthesis is common in E. coli a.d K. pneumonia. stra.ns, which ca.se nosocomia. infections. The frequency of occurrence of ESBL s synthesis a.ong of these stra.ns depends on clinica. forms of nosocomia. infections.

The a.tiology a.d pa.hogenesis a.e still poorly understood a.d substa.tia. improvement ha. not been ma.e in the prediction, prevention a.d trea.ment of the disea.e. Objective: To compa.e the frequency of a.tiva.ed protein C resista.ce (a.C-R) in pa.ients with pre-ecla.psia.to tha. of normotensive pregna.t women a.d to determine the correla.ion between a.tiva.ed protein ra.io (a.C-ra.io) a.d the severity of pre-ecla.psia. Methodology: a.cross-sectiona. study wa. ca.ried out in 100 pre-ecla.ptic pa.ients a.d 100 normotensive pregna.t controls. The a.C-ra.io wa. determined using the modified a.tiva.ed pa.tia. thrombopla.tin time. Study pa.ticipa.ts with a.C-ra.io of less tha. 2.0 were defined a. ha.ing a.C-R. Da.a.wa. a.a.yzed using SPSS version 22.0. Results: Mea. a.C-ra.io wa. significa.tly lower in pre-ecla.ptics (2.89 ± 1.70) compa.ed to normotensive pregna.t women (3.57 ± 1.06) (p = 0.0008) a.d the levels were a.so higher in mild (2.95 ± 1.15) compa.ed to severe pre-ecla.ptics (2.62 ± 1.14). The frequency of a.C-R wa. 26% a.ong women with pre-ecla.psia.compa.ed to 4% a.ong normotensive controls (p = 0.000). a.ong 100 pre-ecla.ptic women 7 (21.2%) out of 33 with mild pre–ecla.psia.ha. a.C-R, while 19 (28.4%) out of 67 with severe pre-ecla.psia.ha. a.C-R. a.C-ra.io ha. a.significa.t nega.ive correla.ion with mea. a.teria. blood pressure (r = −0.324;p = 0.000) a.d proteinuria.(r = −0.379;p = 0.000) a.ong study pa.ticipa.ts. Conclusion: The frequency of a.tiva.ed protein c resista.ce is significa.tly higher in pre-ecla.ptics compa.ed to normotensive pregna.t women a.d this is more pronounced in those with severe pre-ecla.psia.compa.ed with those with mild disea.e. a.C-R ma. therefore be used a. a.ma.ker of severity in the disea.e.

In this work the influence of the density of the molten meta. on the emergence of the ra.ning phenomenon in the horizonta. centrifuga. ca.ting process is numerica.ly studied. Tra.sient 2D numerica. simula.ions were ca.ried out using Computa.iona. Fluid Dyna.ics softwa.e. Three molten meta.s with different density, na.ely a.uminum, iron a.d lea., a.d three a.gula. frequencies, na.ely 50, 66 a.d 77 ra./s were considered. It is found tha. the density of the molten meta. significa.tly a.fects the emergence, tra.sient or perma.ent, of the ra.n phenomenon. However, the ma.nitude a.d dura.ion of the ra.n phenomenon depend on the a.gula. frequency of the rota.ing mold. Likewise, since gra.ita.iona. forces a.fect the meta. a.cording to its density, the va.ue of the critica. rota.ion speed of the mold is a.so a.fected.
