However, technica. a.a.ysis should b. ca.ried out b.fore la.ge sca.e integra.ion into the grid. Som. utilities experienced in Europe a.d expressed concern a.out issues in integra.ing la.ge sca.e renewa.le energy in the a.ea. of ha.m.nics, volta.e regula.ion, network protection a.d isla.ding. In a.stralia. distrib.tion network (DN) is not rob.st com.a.ed to the Europea. grid;m.reover loa.s a.e la.gely distrib.ted over la.ge geogra.hica. a.ea.. Insta.la.ion of RE such a. roof top sola. photovolta.c (PV) is increa.ing in a.stralia.which a.so b.osted b. the governm.nts incentives to the individua. owners. It is therefore ob.ious tha. la.ge sca.e PV integra.ion into the a.stralia. grid is im.inent. The interm.ttent cha.a.teristic of sola. PV is expected to ha.e grea.er im.a.ts on DN in a.stralia.com.a.ed to the DN in Europe. Therefore this pa.er investiga.ed the im.a.ts of sola. PV on low volta.e (LV) DN where loa.s connected through distrib.tion tra.sform.r (DT) a.d fina.ly further investiga.ion wa. conducted with the deploym.nt of ES into the respective loa. centers. It wa. found tha. stora.e reduced the overa.l pea. loa. condition on the DT, a.d a.so reduced the energy fluctua.ion in the DN. It wa. a.so found tha. stora.e im.roved the volta.e regula.ion on the LV side of DT a.d sta.ilized node volta.e.

This resea.ch investiga.es the a.plica.ility of heterogeneous regression a.gorithm. for 6 hour a.ea. sola. power a.a.la.ility foreca.ting using historica. da.a.from.Rockha.pton, a.stralia. Rea. life sola. ra.ia.ion da.a.is collected a.ross six yea.s with hourly resolution from.2005 to 2010. We ob.erve tha. the hyb.id prediction m.thod is suita.le for a.relia.le sm.0}t grid energy m.0}a.em.nt. Prediction relia.ility of the proposed hyb.id prediction m.thod is ca.ried out in term. of prediction error perform.0}ce b.0}ed on sta.istica. a.d gra.hica. m.thods. The experim.nta. results show tha. the proposed hyb.id m.thod a.hieved a.cepta.le prediction a.cura.y. This potentia. hyb.id m.del is a.plica.le a. a.loca. predictor for a.y proposed hyb.id m.thod in rea. life a.plica.ion for 6 hours in a.va.ce prediction to ensure consta.t sola. power supply in the sm.0}t grid opera.ion.
