Mental health is a significant issue worldwide,and the utilization of technology to assist mental health has seen a growing *** aims to alleviate the workload on healthcare professionals and aid *** applications have been developed to support the challenges in intelligent healthcare ***,because mental health data is sensitive,privacy concerns have *** learning has gotten some *** research reviews the studies on federated learning and mental health related to solving the issue of intelligent healthcare *** explores various dimensions of federated learning in mental health,such as datasets(their types and sources),applications categorized based on mental health symptoms,federated mental health frameworks,federated machine learning,federated deep learning,and the benefits of federated learning in mental health *** research conducts surveys to evaluate the current state of mental health applications,mainly focusing on the role of Federated Learning(FL)and related privacy and data security *** survey provides valuable insights into how these applications are emerging and evolving,specifically emphasizing FL’s impact.

Aperiodic Sampled-Data Control of Distributed Networked Control Systems Under Stochastic Cyber-Attacks

This paper examines the stabilization problem of a distributed networked control system under the effect of cyberattacks by employing a hybrid aperiodic triggering *** cyber-attack considered in the paper is a stochastic deception attack at the sensor-controller end. The probability of the occurrence of attack on a subsystem is represented using a random variable. A decentralized hybrid sampled-data strategy is introduced to save energy consumption and reduce the transmission load of the network. In the proposed decentralized strategy, each subsystem can decide independently whether its state should be transmitted to the controller or not. The scheme of the hybrid triggering mechanism for each subsystem composed of two stages: In the first stage, the next sampling instant is computed using a self-triggering strategy. Subsequently, in the second stage, an event-triggering condition is checked at these sampling instants and the control signal is computed only if the event-triggering condition is violated. The self-triggering condition used in the first stage is dependent on the selection of eventtriggering condition of the second stage. Finally, a comparison of the proposed approach with other triggering mechanisms existing in the literature is presented in terms of the sampling instants,transmission frequency and performance measures through simulation examples.

A Modified Proximity Approach in the Fusion of Heavy Ions

By using a suitable set of the surface energy coefficient, nuclear radius, and universal function, the original proximity potential 1977 is modified. The overestimate of the data by 4% reported in the literature is significantly reduced. Our modified proximity potential reproduces the experimental data nicely compared to its older versions.

7 Gbit/s optical JK flip flop design with two optical AND gates and NOR gates

This study presents a simple methodology for implementation of all optical JK flip flop for future optical high speed *** scheme utilizes electronic model of JK flip flop for implementation of all optical JK flip flop at the bit rate of 7 Gbit/***,all-optical AND and NOR gates are ***,with the combination of these basic gate structures,the optical model of JK flip flop is *** structure makes use of two optical AND gates and two optical NOR *** technique uses a semiconductor optical amplifier(SOA)as the nonlinear medium to produce considerable amount of cross gain and cross phase modulation to attain truth table conditions of optical JK flip *** this method,the number of gates is reduced as compared to earlier *** time and fall time of 5.6 ps with contrast ratio more than 60 dB are achieved in this design.

Realization of 16 Gbit/s all-optical Toggle memory utilizing change in polarization state of light in single-mode optical fiber

In this investigation,all-optical Toggle flip-flop event-driven memory is explored with data rate of 16 Gbit/*** mode optical fiber model is used as a nonlinear medium to generate the output set and reset pulses of a Toggle flip-flop,and the model is based on the bidirectional optical transmission principle,considering the fundamental effects of cross phase modulation and self-phase modulation with change in polarization *** performance of a flip-flop is evaluated using truth table conditions and performance parameters such as Q factor,which is obtained as 380.92 d B for Q and 272.9 d B for■,and rising and falling times of 7.304 ps and 5.79 ps,respectively are obtained,which makes flip-flop design fast as compared to earlier design techniques.

Study of obliquely propagating electron acoustic shock waves with non-extensive electron population

Obliquely propagating electron acoustic shock waves in magnetized plasma composed of stationary ions, cold and non-extensive hot electrons are investigated by deriving Korteweg–de Vries Burgers(KdVB) equation. The tangent hyperbolic method is used to solve the KdVB equation in dissipative medium. The dissipation effect is introduced in the model by means of kinematic viscosity term. The analytical calculations of the KdVB equation shows that the structures(amplitude, velocity and width) of the shock waves are modified significantly with kinematic viscosity(η_0), obliqueness(k_z) and magnetic field(ω_c). Since plasmas are ubiquitously permeated with magnetic field, it is pertinent to explore the characteristics of KdVB equation in a magnetized plasmas.

This paper presents a simple and efficient equation for calculating the Fox depth correction factor used in computation of settlement reduction due to foundation *** solution of Boussinesq theory was used originally to develop the Fox depth correction factor equations which were rather complex in *** equations were later simplified in the form of graphs and tables and referred in various international code of practices and standard texts for an unsophisticated and quick ***,these tables and graphs provide the factor only for limited values of the input variables and hence again complicates the process of automation of ***,this paper presents a non-linear regression model for the analysis of effect of embedment developed using "IBM Statistical Package for the Social Sciences" *** multiple iterations,the value of coefficient of determination is found to reach *** equation is straightforward,competent and easy to use for both manual and automated calculation of the Fox depth correction factor for wide range of input *** the developed equation,parametric study is also conducted in the later part of the paper to analyse the extent of effect of a particular variable on the Fox depth factor.

Approximation of surface-groundwater interaction mediated by vertical streambank in sloping terrains

New analytical solutions are derived to estimate the interaction of surface and groundwater in a stream-aquifer *** analytical model consists of an unconfined sloping aquifer of semi-infinite extant,interacting with a stream of varying water level in the presence of a thin vertical sedimentary layer of lesser hydraulic *** of subsurface seepage is characterized by a nonlinear Boussinesq equation subjected to mixed boundary conditions,including a nonlinear Cauchy boundary condition to approximate the flow through the sedimentary *** form analytical expressions for water head,discharge rate and volumetric exchange are derived by solving the linearized Boussinesq equation using Laplace transform *** cases such as zero slope,absence of vertical clogging layer and abrupt change in stream-stage can be derived from the main results by taming one or more *** solutions of the linearized Boussinesq equation are compared with numerical solution of corresponding nonlinear equation to assess the validity of the *** of using a nonlinear Robin boundary condition,and combined effects of aquifer parameters on the bank storage characteristic of the aquifer are illustrated with a numerical example.

Automatic speech recognition systems are developed for translating the speech signals into the corresponding text *** translation is used in a variety of applications like voice enabled commands,assistive devices and bots,*** is a significant lack of efficient technology for Indian *** this paper,an wavelet transformer for automatic speech recognition(WTASR)of Indian language is *** speech signals suffer from the problem of high and low frequency over different times due to variation in speech of the ***,wavelets enable the network to analyze the signal in *** wavelet decomposition of the signal is fed in the network for generating the *** transformer network comprises an encoder decoder system for speech *** model is trained on Indian language dataset for translation of speech into corresponding *** proposed method is compared with other state of the art *** results show that the proposed WTASR has a low word error rate and can be used for effective speech recognition for Indian language.
