Image restoration refers to minimizing the degradation caused by the sensor environment,such as misfocused CCD cameras,nonuniform motions,atmospheric aerosols,and atmospheric *** image restoration problems,it is reasonable to add nonnegative constraints because of the physical meaning of the ***,the problem can be expressed as a quadratic programming problem with nonnegative ***,in previous research,a parameterization technique is needed to reduce the problem into an unconstrained optimization *** avoid parameterization techniques,we apply the recently developed projected Barzilai-Borwein(PBB) method to solve this quadratic programming ***, a novel approach for reducing the cost of matrix-vector multiplication is proposed when applying BB and PBB methods for atmospheric image *** numerical experiments show that this method is promising for large-scale image restoration problems.

We report the concentration of 50 elements,including rare earth elements(REEs) and platinum group elements(PGEs) in bulk samples of the Grove Mountains(GRV) 99027 lherzolitic *** abundances of REEs are distinctly lower than those of Allan Hills(ALH) A77005 and other lherzolitic shergottites,indicating that GRV 99027 is not paired with *** may,nevertheless, sample the same igneous unit as the others(Lin et al.2005b;Wang and Chen 2006..The CI-normalized elemental pattern of GRV 99027 reveals low(0.004-0.008×CI) and unfractionated PGEs (except for Pd of 0.018×CI) without depletion of W or Ga relative to lithophile element trends. Fractionation between siderophile and lithophile elements become less pronounced with increase of volatility,except for high abundances of Ni and *** characteristics are probably representative of the mantle of Mars,which is consistent with previous work that the Martian mantle formed in a deep magma ocean followed by a later accretion of chondritic materials.

Thick,Proterozoic,unmetamorphosed carbonate-dominated successions are widely distributed in the North china *** Ming Tombs Section near beijing is a well-studied stratigraphic section and has been selected for the study of secular variations in the carbon isotopic composition of marine *** ascending order,this section includes the Changzhougou,Chuanlinggou,Tuanshanzi, Dahongyu and Gaoyuzhuang formations in the Changcheng Group;the Yangzhuang,Wumishan,Hongshuizhung,and Tieling formations in the Jixian Group;and the Jing’eryu Formation in the Qingbaikou *** the depositional ages of the Changzhougou,Chuanlinggou and Tuanshanzi formations of the Changcheng Group are older than 16.0 Ma,the Gaoyuzhuang,Yangzhuang and Wumishan formations belong to the Mesoproterozoic Era with ages evidently greater than～13.0-1200 Ma,and the Jing’eryu Formation of the Qingbaikou Group were deposits of the early Neoproterozoic Era.δC values vary only within a narrow range between - 1.6.and + 1.5 permil in the early Mesoproterzoic Gaoyuzhuang,Yangzhuang and Wumishan *** variation inδC of carbonates from the early Neoproterozoic Jing’eryu Formation is more significant,showing values from -0.5 to +3.3 *** secular variations inδC values of carbonates from the Proterozoic successions in the Ming Tombs Section can be broadly correlated with those in the Jixian Section of the North china *** compare well with the established global isotopic curve of the Mesoproterozoic and Neoproterozoic eras.

The Aolunhua porphyry Mo-Cu deposit is located in the northern margin of the North china Craton(NCC),and belongs to the northern part of the Xilamulun metallogenic *** than 90%of the mineralization occurs within the Aolunhua monzogranite-porphyry;a small part is hosted within quartz veins that crosscut Late Permian *** syenogranite,occurring as dikes and cutting through the Aolunhua monzograniteporphyry, is radially distributed in the mining *** U-Pb ages show that the Aolunhua monzogranite-porphyry and the post-ore syenogranite have concordant Pb/U ages of 13..7±1.2 Ma and 13..4±2.8 Ma,*** on analyses of major,trace elements and Hf-isotopes,the Aolunhua porphyry is characterized by high Sr low Y with high La/Yb and Sr/Y ratios typical of adakitic granites,whereas the post-ore syenogranite has lower Sr and higher Y values,showing apparently negative Eu anomalies (δEu=0.26.to 0.31).The Hf isotopic composition of the Aolunhua porphyry[ε(t)=+3.6.o+9.2]and the post-ore syenogranite[ε(t)=+3.6.to+8.7]indicates that both juvenile crustal sources and depleted mantle contributed to their *** regional geological setting together with the discrepancy of geochemistry between the Aolunhua porphyry and the post-ore syenogranite probably indicates that they formed in different tectonic *** Aolunhua porphyry is derived from partial melting of the thickened crust due to underplating of the basaltic magma under the transformation tectonic regime,while the post-ore syenogranite comes from the crustal root melting during the lithospheric delamination stage under the lithosphere thinning regime of northeast china.

Based on a detailed analysis of differences between seismic data and well logs, we discuss the problem of matching seismic traces and well logs and present a new matching method based on event search in instantaneous phase which greatly improves seismic *** method is based on flattening events in instantaneous phase to compare the seismic traces to the well log traces with the same *** calculate the coefficients using the singular value decomposition method to extrapolate the well *** a result,the events in the seismic profile are continuous and match well with well *** apply this method to the Mao-2 well in Daqing Oilfield with good results.

One-way approximations for regional phases slice the half-space crastal wave guide into a number of slabs perpendicular to the propagation direction;the Moho discontinuity can be easily treated as a perturbation from the crustal background. The advantage of one-way propagation methods is their great saving of computing time and memory compared to full-waveform numerical methods,especially for 3D *** this article,we present general 2.5D SH formulas for the thin-slab method and a generalized screen propagator(GSP) for simulating SH wave propagation in the heterogeneous half-space crustal wave *** of numerical results with a finite-difference(FD) algorithm for a standard flat crustal model show excellent agreement,demonstrating the validity and accuracy of the 2.5D GSP for the half-space *** then compare the curves of energy attenuation calculated by the 2D and 2.5D *** comparison shows that the energy attenuation of the 2.5D case is about 1.5-3 times greater than that of the 2D case when the trapped mode is *** SH screen propagator is also used to simulate two laterally unvarying (in the y direction) crustal models,showing the path effects on regional wave propagation.

In this work,we established a highly reproducible analysis of Sm,Nd concentrations and Nd isotopic compositions in geological samples by isotope dilution analysis with *** technique is superior in terms of the analytical reproducibility or rapidity of analysis compared with quadrupole ICP-MS or with thermal ionization mass spectrometry(TIMS) isotope dilution *** were spiked with Sm-Nd enriched tracer and then digested by a commonly used HF,HNO and HCIO acid *** bulk rare earth elements(REEs) were separated from the sample on a standard cation exchange resin,and further purified on Eichrom Technologies Ln Resin,to obtain Sm and Nd fractions prior to mass spectrometric *** analyses of international certified reference materials(CRMs) demonstrate that our obtained Sm/Nd and Nd/Nd isotopic ratios are in good agreement with previously published values from isotope dilution methods. In addition to determining the concentrations of Sm and Nd,the Nd isotopic composition can be measured simultaneously during Nd isotope dilution ***,a mineral Sm-Nd isochronal age that is identical to,within error,a U-Th-Pb zircon age for the same rock is further measured and validates the robustness of the present ***,the high actual sample throughput inherent to the MC-ICP-MS can be fully exploited for the determination of Sm and Nd concentrations and Nd isotopic compositions.

SUMMARY Widely distributed haematite-bearing red beds are an important source of palaeomagnetic field ***,unresolved issues regarding remagnetization and inclination shallowing in red beds have questioned the reliability of the palaeomagnetic results obtained from such *** this study,we investigated the remagnetization mechanism in red beds from Lower Triassic sandstones in Yunnan Province,southwestern *** results indicate that the characteristic remanent magnetizations(ChRMs) of most samples(112/125) are dominated by only one component at temperatures 80-6.0℃,with a mean direction of D/I= 0.9/46.6.(k = 440.2,α= 2.1°).The corresponding geomagnetic pole is 89.1°N, 331.7°E(k = 338.2,A=2.4°).This coincides with the present geomagnetic field,which is a strong indication that these ChRMs are *** rock magnetic and microscope investigations reveal that the remagnetization is due to the acquisition of a chemical remanent magnetization(CRM) carried by authigenic maghemite and *** the widespread remagnetization,about 7 per cent of the studied samples still record a magnetization that we consider to be primary that was isolated at high temperatures 6.0-6.0℃,with a mean direction of D/I = 213.3/18.6.(it = 16.0,α = 11.7°).We propose that the CRM overprinting is controlled by the overlapping degree of the unblocking temperature between the CRM carried by the authigenic haematite and the primary remanent magnetization carried by the detrital *** results further suggest that microscope investigation,rock magnetic proxies for the haematite concentration and susceptibility-temperature curves are useful methods for pre-selecting samples suitable for isolating the primary remanence at this *** linkage among the palaeomagnetic results,rock magnetic proxies and CRM remagnetization mechanism could be extended to other studies,although the detailed proxy would be different due to specific overprint process._

A temporary seismological network of broadband three-component stations has been deployed N-S to investigate the crust and upper mantle structure across the Ordos Block and the Yinshan Mountains. P wave receiver functions reveal the Moho depth to be about 41 km beneath the central Ordos Block and down to 45 km beneath the northern Ordos Block,a slight uplifting to 42-43 km beneath the Hetao Graben,increasing to 47-48 km beneath the Yinshan Mountains and then decreasing to 44 km beneath the northern Yinshan Mountains along the *** the Ordos Block,the crustal Vp/Vs ratio(about 1.80) south to the Hetao Graben differs from that(about 1.75) beneath the center Ordos *** crustal Vp/Vs ratio is significantly lower(about 1.6.-1.70) beneath the Yinshan *** P wave receiver function migration imaging suggests relatively flat discontinuities at 410 and 6.0 km,indicating the lack of a strong thermal anomaly beneath this profile at these depths,and a low S wave velocity anomaly in the upper mantle beneath the Hetao *** suggest that the low S wave velocity anomaly may be attributable to heat and that the thermal softening advances the evolution of the Hetao Graben,while the lower-crustal ductile flows transfer from the Hetao Graben to the northern Ordos Block,resulting in crustal thickening.
