Peer-to-peer (P2P) based content distribution systems have emerged as the main form for content distribution on the Internet,which can greatly reduce the distribution cost of content providers and improve the overall system ***,the mismatch between the overlay and underlay networks causes large volume of redundant traffic,which intensifies the tension between P2P content providers and ***,how to efficiently use network resources to reduce the traffic burden on the ISPs is crucial for the sustainable development of P2P *** paper surveys the state-of-art P2P traffic optimization technologies from three perspectives:P2P cache,locality-awareness and data *** details,comparison between these technologies and their applicabilities are presented,followed by a discussion of the issues that remain to be addressed and the direction of future content distribution research.

The Annual Report on Cardiovascular Health and Diseases in china(2022) intricate landscape of cardiovascular health in china. This section dissects cardiovascular risk factors in china which including hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes mellitus, chronic kidney disease, metabolic syndrome and air pollution. Hypertension prevalence has steadily increased in china,with efforts to control it facing challenges in achieving optimal rates, especially in rural areas. Interventions like salt substitutes and intensive blood pressure control show promise but need improvement. Abnormal lipid levels, indicative of dyslipidemia,have risen significantly, posing a risk for cardiovascular diseases. Despite efforts, many patients struggle to achieve target lipid levels, necessitating improved treatment strategies. Both type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus affect millions of adults in china,with long-term complications adding to the disease burden. Early intervention and effective management are crucial to mitigate its impact. Prevalent among older adults, chronic kidney disease is associated with diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and cardiovascular diseases, necessitating comprehensive management approaches. The prevalence of metabolic syndrome, characterized by a cluster of risk factors, has increased in both adults and adolescents, calling for lifestyle modifications and public health interventions. Ambient and household air pollution remain significant environmental risk factors, despite some improvements in air quality. Continued efforts to reduce emissions are essential for mitigating associated health risks. Addressing these risk factors requires a multifaceted approach, including public health initiatives, policy interventions, and individual-level strategies to promote healthy lifestyles and reduce environmental exposures. Surveillance and research efforts are crucial for monitoring trends and developing effective strategies to lessen the burden of cardiovascular diseases in

The Annual Report on Cardiovascular Health and Diseases in china(2022) intricate landscape of cardiovascular health in *** connection with the previous section,this eighth section of the report offers a comprehensive analysis of pulmonary embolism and deep venous *** recent years,research in the field of pulmonary vessel in china has made great progress.A number of nationwide multi-center registry research results have filled the gaps in the epidemiology,diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary hypertension and venous *** types of pulmonary hypertension still need attention to the identification of risk factors and/or risk stratification,and venous thromboembolism needs attention in the prevention and the overall management inside and outside *** the future,we look forward to the publication of more high-quality research in china,which could be able to improve relevant guidelines for pulmonary vascular diseases both domestically and inter-nationally.

Revision of seismic design codes corresponding to building damagesin the “5.12” Wenchuan earthquake

A large number of buildings were seriously damaged or collapsed in the "5.12" Wenchuan earthquake. Based on field surveys and studies of damage to different types of buildings, seismic design codes have been updated. This paper briefly summarizes some of the major revisions that have been incorporated into the "Standard for classification of seismic protection of building constructions GB50223-2008" and "Code for Seismic Design of Buildings GB50011-2001." The definition of seismic fortification class for buildings has been revisited, and as a result, the seismic classifications for schools, hospitals and other buildings that hold large populations such as evacuation shelters and information centers have been upgraded in the GB50223-2008 Code. The main aspects of the revised GB50011-2001 code include: (a) modification of the seismic intensity specified for the Provinces of Sichuan, Shanxi and Gansu; (b) basic conceptual design for retaining walls and building foundations in mountainous areas; (c) regularity of building configuration; (d) integration of masonry structures and precast RC floors; (e) requirements for calculating and detailing stair shafts; and (f) limiting the use of single-bay RC frame structures. Some significant examples of damage in the epicenter areas are provided as a reference in the discussion on the consequences of collapse, the importance of duplicate structural systems, and the integration of RC and masonry structures.

Review of prediction for thermal contact resistance

Theoretical prediction research on thermal contact resistance is reviewed in this paper. In general, modeling or simulating the thermal contact resistance involves several aspects, including the descriptions of surface topography, the analysis of micro mechanical deformation, and the thermal models. Some key problems are proposed for accurately predicting the thermal resistance of two solid contact surfaces. We provide a perspective on further promising research, which would be beneficial to understanding mechanisms and engineering applications of the thermal contact resistance in heat transport phenomena.

Development and Innovation of Mobile Internet

This paper proposes that the business model of mobile Internet services is shifting from a walled garden to an open one. The service development model relies more on open Application Programme Interface (API); and the online application software store is becoming an important platform for service delivery. The terminal platform has been the commanding point of the layout and competition of the mobile Inernet in the world. Based on the smart terminal, the competition for platform system from the hardware platform to the operation system, the middleware and the applications platform have been in shape globally. The competition in the terminal platform of mobile Internet is moving from close to open, from uni-controlled by one company to open and cooperated by the whole industry. china should forge a terminal platform system and the ecosystem for the mobile Internet industry, and seek to achieve an overall breakthrough in the whole value chain of the industry based on the huge mobile user market and the productivity of the terminal. The breakthrough should start from the application software, stepping from the top to the bottom platform, to extend the industry chain.

Study on Sulfide-melt Inclusions in Mantle Xenoliths of Xinchang, Zhejiang

In minerals of mantle xenoliths captured within Tertiary alkali-basalt from Xinchang, Zhejiang province, china, many sulfidemelt inclusions were found by the observation of polished thin section. Electron microprobe analysis has been applied to detect the components of sulfide-melt inclusions. The result shows that the sulfide phases of inclusions are mainly pentlandite, and secondarily pyrrho- tite, The molar ratio of Ni to Fe, r_Ni,/r_Fe, of mineral phases in sulfide inclusions is related to olivine contents in host mantle xenoliths. The r_Ni/r_Ni, of sulfides from Xinchang samples has a possitive correlation to r_(Fe+Ni),/r_S. The r_(Fe+Ni),/r_S, becomes higher with the increasing of r_Ni/r_Fe In single sulfide-melt inclusions, r_Ni,/r_Fe, r_(Fe+Ni),/r, and Ni contents increase from the center to edge, reflecting a result of different cooling speed in an inclusion. A comparison between the data from Hannuoba, West Eifel of Germany and Nograd-Gomor of east Europe suggests that the composition of the inclusions is different for each area, which indicated that a regional differentiation of sulfide in mantle fluids.
