Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)have a high specific surface area,adjustable pores and can be used to obtain functional porous materials with diverse and well-ordered structures through coordination and self-assembly,which has intrigued wide interest in a broad range of *** the arena of biomedical engineering,the functionalized modification of MOFs has produced drug carriers with excellent dispersion and functionalities such as target delivery and response release,with promising applications in bio-detection,disease therapy,tissue healing,and other *** review summa-rizes the present state of research on the functionalization of MOFs by physical binding or chemical cross-linking of small *** *** hvdrogels and evaluates the role and approach of MOFs functionalization in boosting the reactivity of *** this basis,research on the application of functionalized MOFs composites in biomedical engineering fields such as drug delivery,tissue repair,disease treatment,bio-detection and imaging is surveyed,and the development trend and application prospects of functionalized MOFs as an important new class of biomedical materials in the biomedical field are anticipated,which may provide some inspiration and reference for further development of MOF for bio-medical applications.

The global economic downturn caused primarily by the US sub-prime mortgage crisis in 2007 engendered revenue loss of the multinational corporations. Existing studies have yet to depict the detrimental impacts on city＇s command and control functions induced by the sub-prime mortgage crisis together with its residual wave of global economic recession on the global spatial economy. Recent and previous studies have produced an ＇instant history＇ of the global spatial economy before the global economic downturn undermines the global economy in late 2008. How- ever, the waxes and wanes of major cities＇ command and control functions on the global economic arena before and after the outbreak of financial crisis and its associated geo-economic transitions are still poorly understood. This paper attempts to contribute a new set of customized data to update and fill in the gap in the literature with the investigation of the command and control functions of cities arotmd the world from 2005 to 2009. Particular attentions are paid to the time-space relationship of the geo-economic transition that can capture the recent historical images of the com- mand and control situation of different cities in the world.

＜正＞Objective To analyze and conclude clinical status and gene mutations of 40 cases of 8 kinds of primary immunodeficiency diseases from 2000 to 2008. Methods Based on the clinical manifestations and immunological screening tests,the genomic DNAs of 40 patients and their family members were detected by PCR-directed sequencing of the corresponding pathogenic genes of these PID patients.

Meiosis is the process of producing haploid gametes through a series of complex chromosomal events and the coordinated action of various *** mitochondrial protease complex(ClpXP),which consists of caseinolytic mitochondrial matrix peptidase X(ClpX)and caseinolytic protease P(ClpP)and mediates the degradation of misfolded,damaged,and oxidized proteins,is essential for maintaining mitochondrial *** has been implicated in meiosis regulation,but its precise role is currently *** this study,we engineered an inducible male germ cell-specific knockout caseinolytic mitochondrial matrix peptidase X(Clpx^(cKO))mouse model to investigate the function of ClpX in *** found that disrupting Clpx in male mice induced germ cell apoptosis and led to an absence of sperm in the ***,it caused asynapsis of homologous chromosomes and impaired meiotic recombination,resulting in meiotic arrest in the zygotene-to-pachytene transition *** loss of ClpX compromised the double-strand break(DSB)repair machinery by markedly reducing the recruitment of DNA repair protein RAD51 homolog 1(RAD51)to DSB *** dysfunction may be due to an insufficient supply of energy from the aberrant mitochondria in Clpx^(cKO) spermatocytes,as discerned by electron ***,ubiquitination signals on chromosomes and the expression of oxidative phosphorylation subunits were both significantly attenuated in Clpx^(cKO) *** together,we propose that ClpX is essential for maintaining mitochondrial protein homeostasis and ensuring homologous chromosome pairing,synapsis,and recombination in spermatocytes during meiotic prophase I.
