PG 14.7+265 is a radio quiet quasar that has a relativistic *** this report,we show some peculiar properties of its optical and X-ray emissions,which indicate possible non-thermal origins produced from the *** use a simple synchrotron + synchrotron self Compton (SSC) model to fit the emissions with different ratios of energy densities between the magnetic field and electrons (η≡U B/U e),which predicts a different γ-ray *** First LAT AGN Catalog (1LAC) did not include PG 14.7+265,which indicates an upper limit of γ-ray *** upper limit constrains the ratio to be unreasonably large (η≥10 4.5).This inversely indicates that the optical and X-ray emissions may not be produced from the beaming *** discuss the physical implications of these results.

The role the quantum entanglement plays in quantum computation speedup has been widely disputed. Some believe that quantum computation's speedup over classical computation is impossible if entan-glement is absent,while others claim that the presence of entanglement is not a necessary condition for some quantum algorithms. This paper discusses this problem systematically. Simulating quantum computation with classical resources is analyzed and entanglement in known algorithms is reviewed. It is concluded that the presence of entanglement is a necessary but not sufficient condition in the pure state or pseudo-pure state quantum computation speedup. The case with the mixed state remains open. Further work on quantum computation will benefit from the presented results.

Based on 23.Th-23.U disequilibrium and major element data from mid-ocean ridge basalts(MORBs) and ocean island basalts(OIBs),this study calculates mantle melting parameters,and thereby investigates the origin of 23.Th excess.(23.Th/23.U) in global MORBs shows a positive correlation with Fe8,Po,Na8,and Fmelt(Fe8 and Na8 are FeO and Na2O contents respectively after correction for crustal fractionation relative to MgO = 8 wt%,Po=pressure of initial melting and Fmelt=degree of melt),while 23.Th excess in OIBs has no obvious correlation with either initial mantle melting depth or the average degree of mantle ***,compared with the MORBs,higher(23.Th/23.U) in OIBs actually corresponds to a lower melting *** suggests that the 23.Th excess in MORBs is controlled by mantle melting conditions,while the 23.Th excess in OIBs is more likely related to the deep garnet *** vast majority of calculated initial melting pressures of MORBs with excess 23.Th are between 1.0 and 2.5 GPa,which is consistent with the conclusion from experiments in recent years that DU>DTh for Al-clinopyroxene at pressures of >1.0 *** initial melting pressure of OIBs is 2.2-3.5 GPa(around the spinel-garnet transition zone),with their low excess 226Ra compared to MORBs also suggesting a deeper mantle ***,excess 23.Th in MORBs and OIBs may be formed respectively in the spinel and garnet stability *** addition,there is no obvious correlation of K2O/TiO2 with(23.Th/23.U) and initial melting pressure(Po) of MORBs,so it is proposed that the melting depth producing excess 23.Th does not tap the spinel-garnet transition *** and MORBs in both(23.Th/23.U) vs.K2O/TiO2 and(23.Th/23.U) *** plots fall in two distinct areas,indicating that the mineral phases which dominate their excess 23.Th are ***/Yb-Ce curves of fast and slow ridge MORBs are similar,while,in comparison,the Ce/Yb-Ce curve for OIBs shows more influence from *** mechanism

Two multiparty simultaneous quantum identity authentication (MSQIA) protocols based on secret sharing are presented. All the users can be authenticated by a trusted third party (TTP) simultaneously. In the first protocol,the TTP shares a random key K with all the users using quantum secret sharing. The ith share acts as the authentication key of the ith user. When it is necessary to perform MSQIA,the TTP generates a random number R secretly and sends a sequence of single photons encoded with K and R to all the users. According to his share,each user performs the corresponding unitary operations on the single photon sequence sequentially. At last,the TTP can judge whether the impersonator exists. The sec-ond protocol is a modified version with a circular structure. The two protocols can be efficiently used for MSQIA in a network. They are feasible with current technol-ogy.

We proposed a method to separate ground points and vegetation points from discrete return,small footprint airborne laser scanner data,called skewness change *** method,which makes use of intensity of laser scanner data,is especially applicable in steep,and forested *** does not take slope of forested area into account,while other algorithms consider the change of slope in steep forested *** ground points and vegetation points can be used to estimate digital terrain model(DTM) and fractional vegetation cover,respectively.A few vegetation points which were classified into the ground points were removed as noise before the generation of *** method was tested in a test area of 10000 square meters.A LiteMapper -5600 laser system was used and a flight was carried out over a ground of 700―800 *** this tested area,a total number of 154. field measurement ground points were measured with a total station TOPCON GTS-602 and TOPCON GTS -7002 for validation of DTM and the mean error value is -18.5 cm and the RMSE(root mean square error) is ±20.9 cm.A data trap sizes of 4. in diameter from airborne laser scanner data was selected to compute vegetation fraction *** of fractional vegetation cover was carried out using 15 hemispherical photographs,which are georeferenced to centimeter accuracy by differential *** gap fraction was computed over a range of zenith angles 10° using the gap light analyzer(GLA) from each hemispherical *** R2 for the regression of fractional vegetation cover from these ALS data and the respective field measurements is *** this study presents a method for synchronous estimation of DTM and fractional vegetation cover in forested area from airborne LIDAR height and intensity data.

A quasi-secure quantum dialogue protocol using single photons was proposed. Different from the previous entanglement-based protocols, the present protocol uses batches of single photons which run back and forth between the two parties. A round run for each photon makes the two parties each obtain a classical bit of information. So the efficiency of information transmission can be increased. The present scheme is practical and well within the present-day technology.

An integral method,combining support vector ma-chine (SVM) with remote-sensing analysis techniques,was ex-plored to monitor Hanoi’s dynamic change of land cover. The landsat thematic mapper (TM) image in 1993.the enhanced the-matic mapper plus (ETM+) image in 2000,and the image with the charge-coupled device camera (CCD) on the china-Brazil earth resources satellite (CBERS) in 2008 were used. Six land-cover types,including built-up areas,woodland,cropland,sand,water body and unused land,were identified. The detected results showed visually the rapid urban expansion as well as land-cover change of Hanoi from 1993.to 2008. There were 12 63..54.hm2 cropland de-creased between 1993.and 2000,and 8 227.6 hm2 cropland de-creased between 2000 and 2008. Compared with cropland,wood-land firstly decreased and then increased,and the other types did not change significantly. The results indicate that CBERS dataset has the application potential in world resources researches.

Based on the laboratory calibration before launch of CBERS-02 IRMSS thermal infrared channel, the onboard blackbody calibration, the radiometric cross- calibration against TERRA MODIS corresponding channel and the in-flight field calibration at Lake Qinghai: water surface radiometric calibration test site of china on Aug. 17, 2004.are carried out in this research. When making onboard blackbody calibration of CBERS-02 IRMSS, it is necessary to understand inside structures and light path in IRMSS camera and receive and process calibration blackbody signals at normal and high temperatures. Onboard blackbody calibration results of each detector are very important to relative radiometric calibration of images processing and absolute radiometric calibration of each detector. In-flight field calibration mainly contains field experiments, obtaining synchronous images, spectrum marching and MODTRAN radiative transmi- ssion computation. Radiometric cross-calibration of CBERS-02 IRMSS thermal band against TERRA MODIS selected 6 times synchronous images of two sensors passing through Lake Qinghai and Lake Taihu from August to December, 2004.to compute the cross calibration data. Combining the in-flight field calibration and radiometric cross calibration data, the absolute radiometric calibration coefficients are calculated by the linear regression method. This new calibration model can obviously control the radiometric calibration uncertainties aroused by the single point method used in the in-flight calibration of CBERS-02 IRMSS, this kind of sensors cannot receive the cosmic background radiation. In this research, the radiometric calibration coefficients obtained through the linear regression model are 8.53.(gain, unit: DN/W m?2sr?1μm?1) and 4..92 (offset, unit: DN).
