DEM, which becomes a major component of geographic information processing in earth and engineering sciences, has been studied in the GIS literature for a long time. We use DEM to represent the terrain in GIS. The more data are available, the better representations of a terrain can be built. But not all tasks in the framework of a given application necessarily require the same accuracy, and even a single task may need different levels of accuracy in different areas of the domain. Multiresolution models, such as LOD, offer the possibility of representing and analyzing a terrain at a range of different levels of detail. In this paper, some key issues in multiresolution DEM model are studied. Three main models are focused on Hierarchical TIN(HTIN), multiresolution terrain model based Delaunay and Hierarchical Dynamic Simplification. The advantages and disadvantages of these methods are analyzed. The technology of tile to tile edge match is studied to maintain the consistency between adjacent edges and tile edges in HTIN model. And the Hypergraph based Objected oriented Model(HOOM) is presented to divide and code spatial area and describe the terrain feature in adding and deleting points based on Delaunay rule retriangulating. The conclusions have been drawn in the end.

In order to better support Antarctic inland ice sheet expedition from Zhongshan Station to Dome A,the topographic data are *** present,although the entire Antarctic DEM provided by RAMP(Ra-darsat Antarctic mapping Project) was estimated at the highest horizontal(spatial) resolution of about 2.0 m,the real horizontal resolution of the DEM varies from place to place depending on the density and scale of the original source *** ice shelves and the inland ice sheet,the horizontal resolution is about 5 km;the vertical accuracy is estimated to be ±50 m in interior East Antarctic ice sheet and away from the mountain ***,more accurate topographic data are unavailable in *** order to meet the requirements of high-accuracy topographic information for further researches,this paper mainly addresses a fusion study of ASTER stereo pairs and ICESat/GLAS altimetry data for extraction of high-accuracy DEM in East Antarctica,based on the high horizontal resolution(15 m) of ASTER and vertical accuracy(13.8 cm) of ICESat/***,some altimetry data were selected as vertical control points to reduce errors of image correlation matching during the extraction of ASTER-based ***,ice sheet altimetry data derived from ICESat were used to generate DEM ranging from 75° to 81°S because existing ASTER data do not cover this area and high density of the coverage of ICESat altimetry ***,the DEM in coverage of the expedition route was *** analysis of result reveals that the DEM accuracy is improved *** absolute vertical accuracy of DEM is higher than 15 m in some cases and higher than 30 m for all the areas along the expedition route except from the 009-001 scene;the interior accuracy is higher than 15 m and higher than 7 m in some *** can meet the requirements of topographic map at 1:50000 scale,which is an economic and advantageous method to produce the topographic products.

Based on ranging intersection theory, a new method which is simple and easy to operate was proposed for data collection in the mine surface deformation monitoring with GPS-RTK centering rod measurements. It can fully eliminate the inevitable shaking error and the vertical deflection, and to some extent weaken the multipath effect on the estimates of coordinates in a relatively short period of time, using high-frequency observations. The results show that three-dimensional coordinates with a height accuracy better than 1 cm, horizontal accuracy better than 2.4.cm can be achieved through only 15-30 s continuous observation by 2. Hz high-frequency and effectively improve the measurement accuracy and efficiency of RTK, fully satisfying the high-speed and high-precision data acquisition in mine surface subsidence deformation monitoring.

Autonomous relative navigation is the key technology in mining or rescuing. On the basis of mine requirement and the theories of machine vision, an autonomous relative navigation algorithm for mine agent based on quaternion was proposed. In rotation transformation, this algorithm was represented by using quaternion. Because the Jacobi matrix of this method is lower than that of Hall algorithm, the calculation efficiency is improved by using this algorithm. The results of these experiments show that the computation burden of this algorithm based on quaternion is about half that of Hall algorithm. This algorithm based on quaternion is improved as a valid way to solve the problem of mine real-time navigation.

By means of MORTRAN4.model of FLASSH module, an atmospheric correction of the SPOT II/IV data of four-year period for eight experimental coal faces of Lu'an mine area was done. The mining-affected zones were obtained with probability integral method. The normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) and its mean were obtained by band ratio calculation at the mining subsidence area. Using FOURIER4.model of the fast Fourier transform (FFT) of discrete Fourier analysis theory, the mean NDVI time series data set was reconstructed. With the mean of NDVI transformed into amplitude and the phonological information transformed into phase, the law of NDVI variation by monthly, quarterly, annual were obtained. The annual integral of the time series of NDVI Fourier function (ANDVI) was obtained. The results show that an experience formula of ANDVI variation accompanies with mining time; A fast estimation formula of NPP by means of a coefficient of mining disturbance such as γ.

The reaction of 3,6-di-(3-methyl-pyridin-2.yI)-s-tetrazine (DMPTZ, II) with CeIII salt [Ce(NO3)3 · 6H2.] generates a new ligand, N-(3-methyl-pyridin-2.yl)-formimidoyl-(3-methyl-pyridin-2.yl) hydrazone (L), and forms a new complex: a mononuclear complex [Ce(L)(NO3)2.(H2.)3] · NO3 (III). Crystal data for III: space group P-1, with a = 0.7133(4. nm, b = 1.1139(2. nm, c = 1.4.72.3) nm, α= 102.13(2.°, β= 99.81(3)°, γ= 91.10(3)°, Z = 2. V = 1113.6(7) nm3, μ = 2.12. mm?1 and F(000) = 630. L acts as a tri-dentate chelating ligand in III. There are 10 coordination sites around Ce3+ of III, which are respectively occupied by seven oxygen atoms (four from two nitrate anions and three from three H2. molecules) and three nitrogen atoms (all from L). The cerium atom and three chelating nitrogen atoms are coplanar. The mechanism of the metal assisted decomposition is discussed briefly.

Heart valve diseases threaten human health. One reliable way to save lives of such patients is to replace the pathologically changed heart valves by artificial ones. Over 2.million patients have received LTI-carbon heart valve’s implantation. However, the thrombosis after the implantation is one of the difficulties that need to be solved. In order to improve the blood compatibility and security of mechanical heart valves, ion beam technology was used to modify the surface properties of the materials. The investigation results have been summarized in this paper.

Based on the study of equilibrium adsorption on viscose rayon-based activated carbon fiber （ACF） by gravimetric method, mounting of TiO2.on PAN-based activated carbon cloth （ACC） and their photocatalytic activity as well as adsorption performance for benzene were investigated. The crystallinity of TiO2.and pore structure were characterized by XRD and N2.adsorption. The results show that crystallinity of TiO2.and pore structure could be postulated by heat treatment condition. Both crystallinity of TiO2.and pore structure of hybrid have effects on photocatalytic performance of TiO2.mounted ACC. It would be more attractive and prospective for the combination of TiO2.photocatalytic activity and adsorption ability of porous materials.

This paper proposes second-order consensus protocols with time-delays and gives the measure of the robustness of the protocols to the time-delay existing in the network of agents with second-order dynamics. By employing a frequency domain method, it is proven that the information states and their time derivatives of all the agents in the network achieve consensus asymptotically, respectively, for appropriate communication timedelay if the topology of weighted network is connected. Particularly, a tight upper bound on the communication time-delay that can be tolerated in the dynamic network is found. The consensus protocols are distributed in the sense that each agent only needs information from its neighboring agents, which reduces the complexity of connections between neighboring agents significantly. Numerical simulation results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and the sharpness of the theoretical results for second-order consensus in networks in the presence of communication time-delays.
