We prove a moderate deviation principle for a super-Brownian motion with immigration of all dimensions, and consequently fill the gap between the central limit theorem and large deviation principle.

The probability of the last proton being out of the binding potential, P and the root-mean-square (rms) ra- dius (1/2= of the third excited state in 21Na are calcu- lated by means of asymptotic normalization coefficient (ANC) method with the experimental date existing. The results are P=54.73% and 1/2=5.28 fm respectively. The P value and the contribution of the asymptotic part to the 1/2 are compared with those of several other low energy states in 21Na. It is found that the valence particle in the third excited state has an obvious larger P than those of other states. The density distribution of the valence proton in this state is also compared with the nucleons in the nuclear core 20Ne, and a far extended tail can be seen clearly. These results show that the third ex- cited state in 21Na is a proton halo state.

In this paper, firstly, the proper function space is chosen, and the proper expression of the operators is introduced such that the complex large-scale atmospheric motion equations can be described by a simple and abstract equation, by which the definition of the weak solution of the atmospheric equations is made. Secondly, the existence of the weak solution for the atmospheric equations and the steady state equations is proved by using the Galerkin method. The existence of the non-empty global attractors for the atmospheric equations in the sense of the Chepyzhov-Vishik’s definition is obtained by constructing a trajectory attractor set of the atmospheric motion equations. The result obtained here is the foundation for studying the topological structure and the dynamical behavior of the atmosphere attractors. Moreover, the methods used here are also valid for studying the other atmospheric motion models.

The role of PKCα in human breast cancer cell proliferation and expression of cyclinD1 and CDK4.has been investigated using inhibition of PKCα expression by its antisense RNA. When PKCα expression was inhibited the rate of cell proliferation decreased apparently and the levels of cyclinD1 and CDK4.mRNA were lower than the control. The results showed that PKCα, a key member of signal transduction system, played an important role in human breast cancer cell proliferation and had a close relationship with expression of cyclinD1 and CDK4.which control start of cell cycle.

We map the dark molecular cloud core of L134.in the C^(18)O (J = 1 - 0)emission line using the PMO 13.7m telescope, and present a contour map of integrated intensity ofC^(18)O (J = 1 - 0) emission. The C^(18)O cloud is inside the distribution of extinction A_B, thevisual extinction of blue light, as well as inside the ^(13)CO cloud in the L134.region. Thedepletion factors in this C^(18)O cloud are generally greater than unity, which means there is gasdepletion onto dust. Since only a minimum A_B - 9.7 mag is available, and our observations measureboth undepleted and depleted regions along the line of sight, the depletion factors could verylikely be larger in the central core than the calculated value. So we conclude that depletion doesoccur in the bulk of the C^(18)O cloud through a comparison between the C^(18)O and blue extinctionmaps in the L134.region. There is no direct evidence as yet for star formation in L134. and so coreson the verge of collapse will not be visible in CO and other gas molecules.

Associated with each finite directed quiver Q is a quasi-hereditary algebra. the so-called twisted double of the path algebra kQ. Characteristic tilting modules over this class of quasi-hereditary algebras are constructed. Their endonorphism algebras are explicitly described. It turns out that this class of quasi-hereditary algebras is closed under taking the Ringel dual.

In 0.10 mol/L HOAc-NaOAc buffer solution (pH 4.59). a sensitive reduction peak of bleomycin is obtained by linear sweep voltammetry at Co/GC ion implantation modified electrode. Its electrochemical behavior has been studied. The experiments of AES and XPS show that Co is surely implanted into the surface of GCE and improved the electrocatalytic activity.
