DEM, which becomes a major component of geographic information processing in earth and engineering sciences, has been studied in the GIS literature for a long time. We use DEM to represent the terrain in GIS. The more data are available, the better representations of a terrain can be built. But not all tasks in the framework of a given application necessarily require the same accuracy, and even a single task may need different levels of accuracy in different areas of the domain. Multiresolution models, such as LOD, offer the possibility of representing and analyzing a terrain at a range of different levels of detail. In this paper, some key issues in multiresolution DEM model are studied. Three main models are focused on Hierarchical TIN(HTIN), multiresolution terrain model based Delaunay and Hierarchical Dynamic Simplification. The advantages and disadvantages of these methods are analyzed. The technology of tile to tile edge match is studied to maintain the consistency between adjacent edges and tile edges in HTIN model. And the Hypergraph based Objected oriented Model(HOOM) is presented to divide and code spatial area and describe the terrain feature in adding and deleting points based on Delaunay rule retriangulating. The conclusions have been drawn in the end.

The buildings and structures of mines were monitored automatically using modern surveying technology. Through the analysis of the monitoring data, the deformation characteristics were found out from three aspects containing points, lines and regions, which play an important role in understanding the stable state of buildings and structures. The stability and deformation of monitoring points were analysed, and time-series data of monitoring points were denoised with wavelet analysis and Kalman filtering, and exponent function and periodic function were used to get the ideal deformation trend model of monitoring points. Through calculating the monitoring data obtained, analyzing the deformation trend, and cognizing the deformation regularity, it can better service mine safety production and decision-making.

We propose a novel correlation optical time domain reflectometry (C-OTDR) of using broadband chaotic light. This reflectometry has the advantage over the conventional OTDR and the pseudorandom signal C-OTDR in range-independent spatial resolution. We employ a laser diode with feedback from a long fiber ring cavity as the source of chaotic probe light. Experimental and numerical studies show that the chaotic light has broad and flat spectrum, and excellent correlation properties. Using this broadband chaotic laser, we experimentally demonstrate the proposed chaos C-OTDR for locating the fiber reflection events, and analyze the spatial resolution and dynamic range. The results show that the chaos C-OTDR can realize a range-independent resolution of 6 cm and its dynamic range is at least 25 km.

C60 is successfully solubilized in micelle of six kinds of surfactants and UV/Vis spectra ofC60 in micellar system are studied. It is found that Brij-35 is the most efficient surfactant forsolubilization of C60 and the possible states of C60 existed in surfactants are also *** of surface tension show that the sites for solubilization of C60 not only depend on thesorts of surfactants but also on their structures.

Strong room-temperature photoluminescence from the adducts of C60 reacting with five different aliphatic amines, namely propylethylamine (PPA), n-butyl amine (BTA), n-heptylamine (HPA) and dodecylamine (DDA) and diethylamine (DEA), was firstly found from their toluene solution at relatively shorter wavelength around 519 *** fluorescence intensity has a good correlation with the length of n-alkyl group chain, the steric position and concentration of different amines and setting of solution as well as the UV-radiation. Their fluorescence quenching by concentration and by aromatic electron-donor N,N-dimethylaniline (DMA) were first investigated and determined.

A study of the catalytic activity of V2O5/C catalyst for the oxygen oxidation of glyoxal has been made, showing that glyoxylic acid can be formed without control of pH value and there is little oxalic acid from the excessive oxidation of glyoxylic acid. The studies of XRD and TEM have shown that V2O5 diffraction peaks gradually strengthen with the increase of the content of V2O5. With the content of 3% V2O5 and the calcination temperature of 573 K, V2O5/C catalyst displayed the best activity and selectivity. The conversion of glyoxal and the selectivity of glyoxylic acid reached 18.76% and 77.70% after 5 h, respectively. Moreover, V2O5/C catalyst showed small deactivation after recycling three times, which indicates that V2O5/C has a higher stability than noble metal catalysts in the reaction medium.

Volcanic Event Layers——A Marker Bed of Correlation of Coal Measures

Upper Carboniferous-Lower Permian volcanic event deposits from two cross sections in Nanpiao, Liaoning Province, and the Daqing Mountains, Inner Mongolia, were examined by systematic rock and mineral identification, differential thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and trace element and rare earth element quantitative analysis. According to the results, twelve sequences of volcanic event deposits have been distinguished from bottom to top, including 34.39 volcanic event layers. As these layers each have their own distinctive petrological, mineralogical and geochemical characteristics and were derived from the same source, they provide new evidence for further ascertaining the distribution characteristics of volcanic event deposits on the northern margin of the North China plate and carrying out the stratigraphic correlation using volcanic event layers as marker beds.

利用ＣＯ２ＴＰＤ技术考察了ＢａＬａ２Ｏ３系催化剂的表面碱性，实验发现，催化剂表面仅有单一的强碱位或中碱位时，其催化性能均较差。只有表面的中碱位与强碱位以适当量共同存在的样品（６％ＢａＬａ２Ｏ３），才能获得好的催化活性和Ｃ２选择性。此碱性特征可能有利于表面活性位的产生。同时利用ＸＲＤ和ＸＰＳ等技术分别对体相结构和表面氧物种进行了研究。结果表明，ＢａＬａ２Ｏ３系催化剂表面存在Ｏ２２离子，但Ｏ２２离子不可能是活化甲烷的独立氧物种，而是与α晶格氧共同存在时，有利于形成促使甲烷氧化偶联的表面复合活性位。６％ＢａＬａ２Ｏ３样品的高甲烷转化率和Ｃ２选择性正是归因于其表面上可能存在较多的这种复合活性位。
