A cyclic plasticity model is used into finite element (FE) method to obtainthe details of elastic-plastic stress-strain in the bolts under cyclic axial loading. Two criteriain multiaxial fatigue are employed to predict fatigue lives of bolts. The predicted fatigue livesare in favorable agreement with the experimental results for machined bolts.

In the last few years,organic solar cells(OSCs)have made significant progress in photovoltaic performance,mainly due to the innovative development of active layer materials,especially Y-series and related derivatives as acceptors which have become the key factor that boosts the power conversion ***,to achieve high-performance OSCs,an emerging molecular design strategy of applying flexible alkyl units as linkers to construct non-fully conjugated acceptors has been developed and addressed great *** review highlights the non-fully conjugated photovoltaic materials with Y-series backbone that enable high-performance *** OSCs have been achieved by some representative non-fully conjugated material *** related molecular design strategies are discussed in ***,a brief summary and future prospect are provided in advancing the non-fully conjugated photovoltaic materials with Y-series backbone towards the brighter future.

The control of a free-floating space manipulator system isdiscussed. With the augmentation approach, the nonlinearparameterization problem of the dynamic equations of the spacemanipulator system is overcome. Based on the results, the robustcontrol scheme for free-floating space manipulator with uncer- tainpayload parameters to track the desired trajectory in jointspace isproposed, and the global convergence of the tracking is verified byusing the Lyapunov method.

The effect of Ta addition on the martensitic transformation characteristics and the X-ray visibility on NiTi shape memory alloy have been studied in (Ni51Ti4.)1-xTax system. It was found that the transformation temperatures of the Ni51Ti4. binary alloy increased drastically by an addition of 0～4.at. pet Ta, but only slightly when the concentration exceeded 4.at. pct; the addition of Ta greatly decreases the sensitivity of the martensitic transformations to the variation in the Ni-Ti ratio. The addition of Ta to the NiTi binary alloy can improve its X-ray visibility.

The prediction and control criterion of both the wrinkle limit and fracture limit on the cylindrical cup deep-drawing are given, and the prediction and control diagram of both the wrinkle limit and fracture limit are also given. The results show that it is suitable for no-flange cylindrical cup deep-drawing, narrow-flange cylindrical cup deep-drawing, wide-flange cylindrical cup deep-drawing/expanding compound forming and rigid punch expanding forming.

Curved-beams can be used to design modular multistable metamaterials(MMMs)with reprogrammable material properties,i.e.,programmable curved-beam periodic structure(PCBPS),which is promising for controlling the elastic wave *** PCBPS is theoretically equivalent to a spring-oscillator system to investigate the mechanism of bandgap,analyze the wave propagation mechanisms,and further form its geometrical and physical criteria for tuning the elastic wave *** the equivalent model,we calculate the analytical solutions of the dispersion relations to demonstrate its adjustability,and investigate the wave propagation characteristics through the *** validate the equivalent system,the finite element method(FEM)is *** is revealed that the bandgaps of the PCBPS can be turned on-and-off and shifted by varying its physical and geometrical *** findings are highly promising for advancing the practical application of periodic structures in wave insulation and propagation control.
