It is usually very difficult to directly obtain molecular dissociation energy De and all accurate high-lying vibrational energies for most diatomic electronic states using modern experimental techniques or quantum theories, and it is also very difficult to give accurate analytical expression for diatomic molecular dissociation energy. This study proposes a new analytical formula for obtaining accurate molecular dissociation energy based on the LeRoy and Bernstein’s energy expression in dissociation limit. A set of full vibrational energy spectra for some electronic states of N2 molecule are studied using the algebraic method (AM) suggested recently, and the corresponding accurate molecular dissociation energies are evaluated using the proposed new formula and high-lying AM vibrational energies. The results show that the AM spectra and the new theoretical dissociation energies agree excellently with experimental data, and thereby providing a new physical approach to generating accurate dissociation energies for electronic states of diatomic molecules.

It has been demonstrated that the dual-wire waveguide(DWW)can be used in terahertz(THz) frequency regime with many ***,the existent research approaches for the DWW are based on the electrostatic *** this paper,making use of the bipolar coordinate system(BCS),a rigorous analytical theory of DWW is worked out,and some important physical and optical characters of DWW including the rotating behavior *** revealed,the equivalent impendence and the ohmic loss for the gold DWW are *** eigenvalue problem is presented from the point of view of Mathematical-Physics for TE and TM *** obtained results will help get a deep-going understanding of DWW and explore its application in high frequency range including THz.

In this paper,we propose a new media access control (MAC) protocol,which is compatible with the IEEE 802.16e-2005 Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) wireless *** this protocol,the same radio resource can be shared by neighboring cells in the wireless mesh network (WMN) and collisions can be reduced in the overlapping *** protocol consists of two schemes: a downlink transmission and an uplink *** downlink transmission we use a cross layer adaptive radio resource allocation (CL-ARRA) scheme,which consists of two steps: a dynamic subcarrier allocation (DSA) and a dynamic power allocation (DPA).For uplink transmission we propose a new subcarrier backoff scheme and use the Markov chain model to analyze this *** this protocol,we analyze the performance of the downlink and the uplink operation in the OFDMA *** analytical results are well matched to the simulation *** then extend our model to a star-mesh topology with multiple overlapped *** results show that the performance can be improved with the application of the superior capability of our proposed MAC protocol to deal with collisions in the overlapped regions.

There have been many skewed cancer gene expression datasets in the post-genomic era. Extraction of differential expression genes or construction of decision rules using these skewed datasets by traditional algorithms will seriously underestimate the performance of the minority class, leading to inaccurate diagnosis in clinical trails. This paper presents a skewed gene selection algorithm that introduces a weighted metric into the gene selection procedure. The extracted genes are paired as decision rules to distinguish both classes, with these decision rules then integrated into an ensemble learning framework by majority voting to recognize test examples; thus avoiding tedious data normalization and classifier construction. The mining and integrating of a few reliable decision rules gave higher or at least comparable classification performance than many traditional class imbalance learning algorithms on four benchmark imbalanced cancer gene expression datasets.

A structure scheme for a novel hybrid machine tool (HMT) is proposed in this paper. In the scheme,a 4.DOFs 1PS+3TPS type spatial hybrid mechanism is utilized as main feed mechanism,with assistance of a two direction movable worktable,multi-coordinates NC machining can be realized. In the main feed mechanism,fixed platform is connected with moving platform by three TPS driving links and one PS driving link,one translation DOF and three rotation DOFs can be achieved by it. This type HMT enjoys some advantages over its conventional counterparts:large workspace,good dexterity,etc. Closed form inverse displacement analysis model and inverse kinematic model for main feed mechanism are established. A fuzzy PID control scheme for machining control of HMTs with high tracking precision is proposed aiming at highly nonlinear,tightly coupled and uncertain characteristic of HMTs. Simulation researches for fuzzy PID control of HMTs are carried out. Simulation Results demonstrate the effectiveness and the Robostness of the fuzzy PID controller.

Recently, motivated by the pioneer work in revealing the small-world effect and scale-free property of various real-life networks, many scientists devote themselves to studying complex networks. One of the ultimate goals is to understand how the topological structures affect the dynamics upon networks. In this paper, we give a brief review on the studies of epidemic dynamics on complex networks, including the description of classical epidemic models, the epidemic spread on small-world and scale-free networks, and network immunization. Finally, perspectives and some interesting problems are proposed.

The phase-locking process is studied for high-power gyrotron oscillator driven by an external signal. The phase-locking nonlinear differential equations are derived, and the condition of phase-locking is shown and analyzed. The phase-locking signal can be introduced after gyrotron oscillates into saturation or before it. Two different ways of inputting signal make markable influence on the phase-locking process, this phenomenon is discussed. In this paper, the numerical calculations and analysis are given for gyrotron TE13 mode.

Stripe rust,caused by Puccinia striiformis ***,is one of the most damaging diseases of wheat *** resistant cultivars is the most economic and environmental friendly way to control the *** are many resistance genes to stripe rust located on wheat chromosome ***,we propose a strategy to construct the recombinant wheat chromosome 2B with multiple resistances to stripe rust by making crosses between wheat lines or cultivars carrying Yr genes and using marker-assisted selection,based on the reported information about resistance spectrum,chromosomal location,and linked markers of the *** the resistance genes on 2B would afford a valuable strategy to control the disease by cultivating varieties with durable *** possibility,efficiency,and prospect of the suggested strategy are reviewed in the paper.
