The properties of even-even Ca isotopes are studied using the relativistic continuum Hartree-Bogoliubov *** calculations reproduce the experimental binding energies E and two neutronseparation energies S very *** predicted neutron drip nuclei is *** the analysis ofsingle-particle energy levels,the occupation of energy levels and nucleon density distribution,gianthaloes are predicted in Ca isotopes with A>60.

Systematic calculations on low-lying states of Os,Ir,Pt,Au,Hg and Tl neutron-deficient isotopes in the A～210 region have been carried out by using the nucleon pair approximation(NPA) of the shell model. We calculate binding energies of the ground states,low-excited level scheme,electric quadrupole,magnetic dipole moments and E2 transition rates,many of which have not yet been measured in the *** results reasonably consistent with the available experimental data.

The angular distributions of fission fragments for the 32S+184W reaction near Coulomb barrier energies are measured. The ex perimental fission excitation function is obtained. The measured fission cross sections are decomposed into fusion-fission, quasi-fission and fast fission contributions by the dinuclear system (DNS) model. The hindrance to completing fusion both at small and large collision energies is explained. The fusion excitation functions of 32S+90,96Zr in an energy range from above to below the Coulomb barrier are measured and analyzed within a semi-classical model. The obvious effect of positive Q-value multi-neutron transfers on the sub-barrier fusion enhancement is observed in the 32S+96Zr system. In addition, the excitation functions of quasi-elastic scattering at a backward angle have been measured with high precision for the systems of 16O+208Pb, 196Pt, 184W, and 154,152Sm at energies well below the Coulomb barrier. Considering the deformed coupling effects, the extracted diffuseness parameters are close to the values extracted from the systematic analysis of elastic and inelastic scattering data. The elastic scattering angular distribution of 17F+12C at 60 MeV is measured and calculated by using the continuum-discretized coupled-channels (CDCC) approach. It is found that the diffuseness parameter of the real part of core-target potential has to be increased by 20% to reproduce the experimental result, which corresponds to an increment of potential depth at the surface re gion. The breakup cross section and the coupling between breakup and elastic scattering are small.

The proton resonant properties in 18Ne, which determine the reaction rate of the key stellar 14O(α,p)17F reaction, have been studied by using a technique of proton resonant elastic scattering of 17F+p. A 4.22 MeV/nucleon 17F radioactive ion (RI) beam was produced via a projectile-fragmentation reaction, and separated by a Radioactive ion Beam Line in lanzhou (RIBLL). By bombarding a thick (CH2)n target, the energy spectra of the recoiled protons were measured by two ΔE-E silicon telescopes at the center-of-mass scattering angles of θc.m.≈175°±5°, θc.m.≈152°±8°, respectively. Several proton resonances in 18Ne were ob served clearly. A further R-matrix analysis of the experimental data is under way to determine the resonant parameters. The present work reports the preliminary results briefly.
