A Stable Open-Shell Conjugated Diradical Polymer with Ultra-High Photothermal Conversion Efficiency for NIR-Ⅱ Photo-Immunotherapy of Metastatic Tumor

Massive efforts have been concentrated on the advance of eminent near-infrared(NIR) photothermal materials(PTMs) in the NIR-Ⅱ window(1000–1700 nm), especially organic PTMs because of their intrinsic biological safety compared with inorganic PTMs. However, so far, only a few NIR-Ⅱresponsive organic PTMs was explored, and their photothermal conversion efficiencies(PCEs) still remain relatively low. Herein, donor–acceptor conjugated diradical polymers with open-shell characteristics are explored for synergistically photothermal immunotherapy of metastatic tumors in the NIR-Ⅱ window. By employing side-chain regulation, the conjugated diradical polymer TTB-2.with obvious NIR-Ⅱ absorption was developed, and its nanoparticles realize a record-breaking PCE of 87.7% upon NIR-Ⅱ light illustration. In vitro and in vivo experiments demonstrate that TTB-2.nanoparticles show good tumor photoablation with navigation of photoacoustic imaging in the NIR-Ⅱ window, without any side-effect. Moreover, by combining with PD-1 antibody,the pulmonary metastasis of breast cancer is high-effectively prevented by the efficient photo-immunity effect. Thus, this study explores superior PTMs for cancer metastasis theranostics in the NIR-Ⅱ window, offering a new horizon in developing radical-characteristic NIR-Ⅱ photothermal materials.

该研究建立了金银花中环烯醚萜、酚酸、黄酮等11个活性成分的波长提取-高效液相多指标同步含量测定方法;采集山东2.金银花种植基地的四季花和北花一号从米蕾期(ML)到金花期(JH)6个不同发育阶段的金银花花蕾。运用建立的含量测定方法,测定样品中11个指标成分的含量,研究不同品种的金银花活性成分含量随发育阶段的变化规律;并以相关性分析的方法,研究环烯醚萜、酚酸和黄酮含量变化的相关性,挖掘3类成分在植物体内生物合成方面可能存在的关联;通过体外抗氧化活性实验,考察不同发育阶段样品的抗氧化活性,经相关性分析,挖掘抗氧化活性与化学成分的关系。研究结果显示:从米蕾期(ML)到金花期(JH),四季花中11个成分的含量总和呈“W”型变化,ML和二白期(EB)是3类成分含量较高的时期,ML最高;北花一号中11成分的含量总和自ML始,逐渐降低,ML是3类成分含量最高的时期。四季花中环烯醚萜含量高于北花一号,北花一号中酚酸含量高于四季花。四季花中黄酮和酚酸的含量变化存在明显的正相关(R~2.0.90,P2.成分含量变化不具有相关性。北花一号和四季花的抗氧化活性和酚酸含量存在明显的正相关:北花一号不同发育阶段酚酸含量与抗氧化活性的相关系数R~2.0.84 (P2.0.73(P<0.05)。四季花和北花一号抗氧化能力最强的时期均为ML,其次EB。该研究揭示了金银花山东道地品种四季花和北花一号环烯醚萜、酚酸、黄酮的含量随发育阶段的变化规律,并证明金银花的抗氧化活性与不同发育阶段酚酸含量存在显著的相关性,为金银花最佳采收期的确定提供了依据。

Thiol Ligand-Modified Au for Highly Efficient Electroreduction of Nitrate to Ammonia

Electroreduction of nitrate(NO_(3)-)to ammonia(NH_(3))is an environmentally friendly route for NH_(3)production,serving as an appealing alternative to the Haber-Bosch ***,various noble metal-based electrocatalysts have been reported for electroreduction of NO_(3)-.However,the application of pure metal electrocatalysts is still limited by unsatisfactory performance,owing to the weak adsorption of nitrogen-containing intermediates on the surface of pure metal *** this work,we report thiol ligand-modified Au nanoparticles as the effective electrocatalysts toward electroreduction of NO_(3)-.Specifically,three mercaptobenzoic acid(MBA)isomers,thiosalicylic acid(ortho-MBA),3-mercaptobenzoic acid(meta-MBA),and 4-mercaptobenzoic acid(para-MBA),were employed to modify the surface of the Au *** the NO_(3)-electroreduction,para-MBA modified Au(denoted as para-Au/C)displayed the highest catalytic activity among these Au-based ***-1.0 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode(vs RHE),para-Au/C exhibited a partial current density for NH_(3)of 472.2.mA cm^(-2.,which was 1.7 times that of the pristine Au ***,the Faradaic efficiency(FE)for NH_(3)reached 98.7%at-1.0 V vs RHE for para-Au/*** modification of para-MBA significantly improved the intrinsic activity of the Au/C catalyst,thus accelerating the kinetics of NO_(3)-reduction and giving rise to a high NH_(3)yield rate of para-Au/C.

According to the characteristics of water and erosion environments of different natural zones on the Loess Plateau, this paper studies changes of vegetation types, distribution boundaries of forest and grass as well as restoration capacity of vegetation in different natural zones in the middle Yellow River. The annual precipitation of 530 mm is the critical annual pre-cipitation for forest and grass distribution in the middle Yellow River. Among the zonal and azonal environmental factors affecting watershed sediment yield, the intermediate diameter D50 (mm) of suspended load and forest coverage (V, %) play the leading role. Of them the effect weight of forest coverage (V, %) on catchments sediment yield is only 3.4% less than the role of the intermediate diameter (D50, mm), they are almost the same. To effectively control soil erosion in semiarid, especially in hilly-gullied areas and make sediment transport modulus reduce to less than 6000 t/km2. it is rather difficult by merely relying on natural restoration of forest. In the process of cultivated land conversion into forest land and grassland, measures suiting local conditions should be adopted in tree species selection and artificial afforestation (grass planting) based on management with biological measures for slopeland and engineering measures for hilly-gullied areas, so that watershed forest coverage in key counties can reach at least over 30%.Compared with the standard period of precipitation prior to the 1960s, with the decrease of an-nual precipitation at various periods, plant productivities decline to different degrees under natural conditions. The main reason accountable for the low survival rate of new seedlings and grass over years is due to precipitation decrease. In light with regression models of annual pre-cipitation and natural vegetation productivities, it is possible to obtain estimated values of wa-tershed natural vegetation productivity and eco-water consumption needed for the restoration to

Optimal follow-up duration for evaluating objective response to radiotherapy in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma:to radiotherapy in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma:a retrospective study

The time to complete or partial(objective) response to radiotherapy in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) is variable; thus, the reported frequency of these responses depends on the length of follow-up. However, the optimum follow-up duration is unknown. We sought to determine the optimal follow-up duration by analyzing the medical records of 2. patients with 39 HCC lesions who received definitive helical tomotherapy at a daily dose of 2.to 4 Gy at 5 fractions per week, for a total dose of 40 to 60 Gy, between January 2.08 and January 2.13. We determined the time to objective treatment response and local recurrence after radiotherapy and assessed several predictors of delayed treatment response. The median follow-up duration was 15.2.months(range, 7.8 to 52.1 months). Among all 39 lesions, objective responses were observed for 36(92.3%). The median time to objective response was 3.9 months(range, 1.5 to 9.8 months). The objective response rates increased over time from 15.4% at 3 months to 71.8% at 6 months and 87.2. at 9 months. Age 60 years old or older and post-radiotherapy α-fetoprotein concentrations higher than pre-radiotherapy concentrations predicted delayed treatment response. The objective response rate continued to increase over 9 months. Therefore, to fully evaluate the treatment response of HCC, we recommend continuous observation for at least 9 months after radiotherapy.
