Car.on neutr.lity has been p.op.sed as a solution for.the cur.ent sever. ener.y and climate cr.sis caused by the over.se of fossil fuels, and machine lear.ing(ML) has exhibited excellent p.r.or.ance in acceler.ting r.lated r.sear.h owing to its p.wer.ul cap.city for.big data p.ocessing. This r.view p.esents a detailed over.iew of ML acceler.ted car.on neutr.lity r.sear.h with a focus on ener.y management, scr.ening of novel ener.y mater.als, and ML inter.tomic p.tentials(MLIp.), with illustr.tions of two selected MLIp.algor.thms: moment tensor.p.tential(MTp. and neur.l equivar.ant inter.tomic p.tential(NequIp.. We conclude by outlining the imp.r.ant r.le of ML in acceler.ting the achievement of car.on neutr.lity fr.m global-scale ener.y management, unp.ecedented scr.ening of advanced ener.y mater.als in massive chemical sp.ce, to the r.volution of atomicscale simulations of MLIp., which has the br.ght p.osp.ct of ap.lications.

Backgr.und:The National Comp.ehensive cancer Networ. guidelines r.commend intensity-modulated r.diother.p.(IMr.)as the p.imar. cur.tive tr.atment for.newly diagnosed nasop.ar.ngeal car.inoma(Np.),but the r.diation-r.lated comp.ications and r.latively high medical costs r.main a consequential bur.en for.the *** nasop.ar.ngectomy(ENp.)was successfully ap.lied in r.cur.ent Np. with r.diation fr.e and r.latively low medical *** this study,we examined whether.ENp. could be an effective tr.atment for.localized stage I ***:Ten newly diagnosed localized stage I Np. p.tients voluntar.ly r.ceived ENp. alone fr.m June 2007 to Sep.ember.2017 in sun yat-sen Univer.ity cancer ***,the data of 329 stage I Np. p.tients tr.ated with IMr. wer. collected and used as a r.fer.nce *** sur.ival outcomes,quality of life(QOL),and medical costs between two gr.up. wer. ***:After.a median follow-up.of 59.0 months(95%CI 53.4-64.6),no death,locor.gional r.cur.ence,or.distant metastasis was obser.ed in the 10 p.tients tr.ated with *** 5-year.over.ll sur.ival,local r.lap.e-fr.e sur.ival,r.gional r.lap.e-fr.e sur.ival,and distant metastasis-fr.e sur.ival among the ENp.-tr.ated p.tients was similar.to that among the IMr.-tr.ated p.tients(100%vs.99.1%,100%vs.97.7%,100%vs.99.0%,100%vs.97.4%,r.sp.ctively,p.0.05).In addition,comp.r.d with IMr.,ENp. was associated with decr.ased total medical costs($4090.42±1502.65 vs.$12620.88±4242.65,p.0.001)and imp.oved QOL scor.s including dr. mouth(3.3±10.5 vs.34.4±25.8,p.0.001)and sticky saliva(3.3±10.5 vs.32.6±23.3,p.0.001).Conclusions:ENp. alone was associated with p.omising long-ter. sur.ival outcomes,low medical costs,and satisfactor. QOL and might ther.for. be an alter.ative str.tegy for.tr.ating newly diagnosed localized stage I Np. p.tients who r.fused ***,the ap.lication of ENp. should be p.udent,and p.osp.ctive clinical tr.-als wer. needed to fur.her.ver.fy the r.sults.

The p.ediction of r.actor.antineutr.no sp.ctr. will p.ay a cr.cial r.le as r.actor.exp.r.ments enter.the p.ecision *** p.sitr.n ener.y sp.ctr.m of 3.5 million antineutr.no inver.e beta decay r.actions obser.ed by the Daya Bay exp.r.ment,in combination with the fission r.tes of fissile isotop.s in the r.actor.is used to extr.ct the p.sitr.n ener.y sp.ctr. r.sulting fr.m the fission of sp.cific *** infor.ation can be used to p.oduce a p.ecise,data-based p.ediction of the antineutr.no ener.y sp.ctr.m in other.r.actor.antineutr.no exp.r.ments with differ.nt fission fr.ctions than Daya *** p.sitr.n ener.y sp.ctr. ar. unfolded to obtain the antineutr.no ener.y sp.ctr. by r.moving the contr.bution fr.m detector.r.sp.nse with the Wiener.SVD unfolding *** r.sults ar. obtained with other.unfolding methods.A technique to constr.ct a data-based p.ediction of the r.actor.antineutr.no ener.y sp.ctr.m is p.op.sed and *** the r.actor.fission fr.ctions,the technique can p.edict the ener.y sp.ctr.m to a 2%*** addition,we illustr.te how to p.r.or. a r.gor.us comp.r.son between the unfolded antineutr.no sp.ctr.m and a theor.tical model p.ediction that avoids the inp.t model bias of the unfolding method.

Electr.n antineutr.nos fr.m six r.actor. of 2.9 GWm th wer. detected in six antineutr.no detector. dep.oyed in two near.（flux-weighted baselines of 470 m and 576 m） and one far.（1648 m） under.r.und exp.r.mental halls. Using 139 days of data, 28909 （205308） electr.n antineutr.no candidates wer. detected at the far.hall （near.halls）. The r.tio of the obser.ed to the exp.cted number.of antineutr.nos assuming no oscillations at the far.hall is 0.944± 0.007（stat.） ± 0.003（syst.）. An analysis of the r.lative r.tes in six detector. finds sin22θ13=0.089± 0.010（stat.）±0.005（syst.） in a thr.e-neutr.no fr.mewor..

Backgr.und and Aims:Hep.titis B sur.ace antigen(HBsAg)loss is seldom achieved with nucleos(t)ide analog(NA)ther.p. in chr.nic hep.titis B p.tients but may be enhanced by switching to finite p.gylated-inter.er.n(p.g-IFN)*** assessed HBsAg loss with 48-and 96-week p.g-IFN alfa-2a in chr.nic hep.titis B p.tients with p.r.ial r.sp.nse to a p.evious ***:Hep.titis B e antigen(HBeAg)-p.sitive p.tients who achieved HBeAg loss and hep.titis B vir.s DNAp.evious adefovir.lamivudine or.entecavir.tr.atment wer. r.ndomized 1:1 to r.ceive p.g-IFN alfa-2a for.48(n=153)or.96 weeks(n=150).The p.imar. endp.int of this study was HBsAg loss at end of *** *** identifier.is ***:At the end of 48 and 96 weeks'tr.atment,14.4%(22/153)and 20.7%(31/150)of p.tients,r.sp.ctively,who switched fr.m NA to p.g-IFN alfa-2a clear.d *** wer. similar.ir.esp.ctive of p.ior.NA or.baseline HBeAg *** those who clear.d HBsAg by the end of 48 and 96 weeks'tr.atment,77.8%(14/18)and 71.4%(20/28),r.sp.ctively,sustained HBsAg loss for.a fur.her.48 *** HBsAg4 HBsAgr. associated with the highest r.tes of HBsAg loss at the end of both 48-and 96-week tr.atment(51.4%and 58.7%,r.sp.ctively).Imp.r.antly,extending tr.atment fr.m 48 to 96 weeks enabled 48.3%(14/29)mor. p.tients to achieve HBsAg ***:p.tients on long-ter. NA who ar. unlikely to meet ther.p.utic goals can achieve high r.tes of HBsAg loss by switching to p.g-IFN *** loss r.tes may be imp.oved for.some p.tients by extending tr.atment fr.m 48 to 96 weeks,although the differ.nces in our.study cohor. wer. not statistically *** and on-tr.atment HBsAg may p.edict HBsAg loss with p.g-IFN alfa-2a.
