Since the welded constructions produce easily stress corrosion cracking (SCC) or fatigue disruption in corrosive medium or under ripple load, two methods inducing compressive stress on structural surfaces by anti-welding-heating treatment (AWHT) and explosion treatment (ET) are presented. The results show that they are good ways to resisting SCC on the welded SS400 steel or other components.

The electronic structure of the clusters containing oxygen, the stacking fault and the complex in the transition metal Ni are calculated by the multiple-scattering Xa method. Energy levels,density of states and transfer of charge are obtained. Based on the calculation and analysis,the influences of impurity oxygen and structure defect on the electronic structure of the clusters are discussed, and it is found that the local Ni-o cluster with the interstitial oxygen is a stable atomic configuration.

Template matching methods have been widely utilized to detect fabric defects in textile quality control. In this paper, a novel approach is proposed to design a flexible classifier for distinguishing flaws from twill fabrics by statistically learning from the normal fabric texture. Statistical information of natural and normal texture of the fabric can be extracted via collecting and analyzing the gray image. On the basis of this, both judging threshold and template are acquired and updated adaptively in real-time according to the real textures of fabric, which promises more flexibility and universality. The algorithms are experimented with images of fault free and faulty textile samples.

＜正＞Experiments were carried out to study the concentration distribution of disparately sized binary particle in the jet region of a 1-m dia ＆ 8-m high semicircular jetting fluidized bed with a conical *** particles concentration was measured by the optical fiber probe system and *** fine particles were injected coaxially to simulate fines recycled into the jet high temperature region in an actual operating unit with different fine particles feed-in *** was found that the coarse particles concentration increases when the jet gas-velocity reaches to the certain *** distributor gas-velocity increasing results in the increasing of the time-averaged particles volume concentration in the jet *** annular gas-velocity increase causes the particles concentration to *** there is high fine concentration existing in the jet region of large jetting fluidized *** fine particles concentration in the jet region increases with the increasing of fine particles feed-in quantity,and the fine concentration increased toward the bed surface. When reaching to a certain bed height,the fine concentration begins to decrease.

MASNUM wave-tide-circulation coupled numerical model (MASNUM coupled model, hereinafter) is de-veloped based on the Princeton Ocean Model (POM). Both POM and MASNUM coupled model are ap-plied in the numerical simulation of the upwelling off Yangtze River estuary and in Zhejiang coastal waters in summer. The upwelling mechanisms are analyzed from the viewpoint of tide, and a new mechanism is proposed. The study suggests that the tidally inducing mechanism of the upwelling in-cludes two dynamic aspects: the barotropic and the baroclinic process. On the one hand, the residual currents induced by barotropic tides converge near the seabed, and upwelling is generated to maintain mass conservation. The climbing of the residual currents along the sea bottom slope also contributes to the upwelling. On the other hand, tidal mixing plays a very important role in inducing the upwelling in the baroclinic sea circumstances. Strong tidal mixing leads to conspicuous front in the coastal waters. The considerable horizontal density gradient across the front elicits a secondary circulation clinging to the tidal front, and the upwelling branch appears near the frontal zone. Numerical experiments are de-signed to determine the importance of tide in inducing the upwelling. The results indicate that tide is a key and dominant inducement of the upwelling. Experiments also show that coupling calculation of the four main tidal constituents (M2, S2, K1, and O1), rather than dealing with the single M2 constituent, im-proves the modeling precision of the barotropic tide-induced upwelling.

The microplasma oxidation process of LY 12 Al alloy in Na2SiO3-KOH-NaAL2 system has been studied. The voltage-time curve of oxidation process is changed with the variation of current densities. The voltage breakdown and hardness of coating increase with increasing current density. The phase composition, morphologies, element and the distribution of ceramic coating are investigated by XRD, EPMA.

The effect of surface structure and coating on tribological properties of 45^# carbon steel disc was analyzed. A Nd：YAG laser was used to generate rnicrodirnples on steel surfaces. Dimples with diameter of 150 rn and depth of 50 rn were distributed in an orbicular array on disc surface. Then the alloying element Mo was sputtered to 45# carbon steel disc surface by means of double glow plasma technology. Diffusion Mo alloying layer with 30min thickness and high hardness up to 0.025 was formed on the disc surface. Tribological experiments of three types samples （smooth, texturing and texturing＋alloying） were conducted with a pin-on-disc tribometer. It is found that the dimpled-samples are most effective for reducing friction in comparison with smooth steel surthces, improving the lubricating state from boundary to hydrodynamic region.
