Aim:To study the effect of gum mastic,a natural resin,on the proliferation ofandrogen-independent prostate cancer PC-3 cells,and further investigate themechanisms involved in this regulatory system,taking nuclear factor κB(NF-κB)signal as the ***:3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazoliumbromide(MTT)assay and a flow cytometer were used to detect the effect of gummastic on the proliferation of PC-3 ***,reporter gene assay,RT-PCR,andWestern blotting were carried out to study the effects of gum mastic on the NF-κBprotein level and the NF-κB signal *** expression of genes involved inthe NF-κB signal pathway,including cyclin D1,inhibitors of κBs(IκBα),andphosphorylated Akt(p-AKT),were *** addition,transient transfectionassays with the 5×NF-κB consensus sequence promoter was also used to test theeffects of gum ***:Gum mastic inhibited PC-3 cell growth and blockedthe PC-3 cell cycle in the G1 *** mastic also suppressed NF-κB activity inthe PC-3 *** expression of cyclin D1,a crucial cell cycle regulator and anNF-κB downstream target gene,was reduced as ***,gum masticdecreased the p-AKT protein level and increased the IκBα protein ***:Gum mastic inhibited the proliferation and blocked the cell cycleprogression in PC-3 cells by suppressing NF-κB activity and the NF-κB signalpathway.

We present an accountable authority key policy attribute-based encryption (A-KPABE) *** this paper,we extend Goyal's work to key policy attribute-based encryption *** first generalize the notion of accountable authority in key policy attribute-based encryption scenario,and then give a *** addition,our scheme is shown to be secure in the standard model under the modified Bilinear Decisional Diffie-Hellman (mBDDH) assumption.

Low-ionization nuclear emission regions （LINERs） are present in a large fraction of local galaxies, while their connection to the more luminous active galactic nuclei （AGN） remains elusive. We analyze the narrow band images obtained by the Hubble Space Telescope （HST） in Hα＋[NII] and/or [OIII] band for 23 LINERs and low luminosity Seyfert galaxies in the sample of the Palomar Optical Spectroscopic Survey of nearby galaxies in an attempt to resolve the structure of Narrow Emission Line Regions （NLRs） of these objects. In all cases, NLRs are well resolved and their morphology differs from object to object. Clumps, linear structure, spiral arms or a ring are detected in a large fraction of the objects, while there is no significant difference between Seyfert galaxies and LINERs. We find that the NLR size and the narrow line luminosity are strongly correlated for both LINERs and low luminosity Seyfert galaxies, and that the size of Ha＋[NII] emission line region scales with Ha luminosity as RNLR ∝ LHα^0.44＋0.06, consistent with an extension of the NLR size-luminosity relation defined for luminous Seyfert galaxies and quasars, to two orders of magnitude lower in luminosity and to lower activity levels. Our results suggest that NLRs in LINERs are similar to those of Seyfert galaxies, and they are powered by the central active galactic nucleus.

Self-assembly of peptides into fibrils and other morphologies has attracted much attention inmany fields,especially in nanofabrication,pathology and *** this paper,self-assembly of GAV-9peptide in organic solvents,ethanol and acetone,was investigated using atomic force microscopy(AFM)and attenuated total reflectance-Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(ATR-FTIR).The results indicatedthat GAV-9 self-assembled into various nanostructures in both solvents after deposited and evaporated *** with β-sheet conformation were observed in both solvents when the peptide concentrationwas higher than 280 μ***,ordered fibrils with β-sheet conformation were formed in ethanol,butnot in acetone,with a peptide concentration ranging from 7 μM to 28 μ*** attribute the formation ofvarious nanostructures to the different physicochemical properties of the polar organic solvents on the self-assembly of GAV-9 peptide.

Perfluorosulfonic acid/Polysulfone(PFSA/PSf) hollow fiber composite membranes have been prepared by dip-coating method using PSf ultrafiltration(UF) membrane as substrate with recovered *** composite membranes were applied to the pervaporation separation of 95% ethanol(EtOH)/H2O *** images show that the thickness of the PFSA skin layer of the composite membranes is about 2 μm,much thinner than those of other PFSA composite membranes revealed in the *** of annealing temperature,coating solution concentration and counter-ions of PFSA on the pervaporation performances of the composite membranes were *** total flux decreases and separation factor increases with the increase of annealing *** highest permeation flux of 3230 g m-2 h-1 and a separation factor of 5.4 is obtained for the composite membrane annealed at 80°*** lowest permeation flux of 396 g m-2 h-1 and a separation factor of 27.7 is obtained for the composite membrane annealed at 160°*** permeation performances of the PFSA/PSf composite membrane are evidently influenced by the counter-ions of *** flux sequence of the PFSA/PSf composite membranes with different counter-ions is H+>Li+>Ca2+>Mg2+>Na+>K+>Ba2+>Fe3+>Al3+,and the separation factor sequence is H+3+3+.The apparent activation energy △Eapp values of the composite membranes with different counter-ions were calculated by Arrhenius *** sequence of △Eapp values for the membranes with monovalent counter-ions is Li+>Na+>K+.There are very little variations of △Eapp values between the composite membranes with three divalent counterions(Mg2+,Ca2+ and Ba2+),and the △Eapp values of the composite membranes with two trivalent counterions(Fe3+ and Al3+) are relatively high.

The entropies of scalar field and neutrino field are calculated in the background of three-dimensional BTZ black hole. Considering statistical physics,we propose not to consider the superraradiant modes for bosons (Fermion fields do not display supperradiance).In fact,the nonsuperradiant modes do contribute exactly the area entropy for both bosons and fermions. The result shows that the neutrino field entropy is 3/2 times the scalar one.

A novel networked data-fusion method is developed for the target tracking in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). Specifically, this paper investigates data fusion scheme under the communication constraint between the fusion center and each sensor. Such a message constraint is motivated by the bandwidth limitation of the communication links, fusion center, and by the limited power budget of local sensors. In the proposed scheme, each sensor collects one noise-corrupted sample, performs a quantizing operation, and transmits quantized message to the fusion center. Then the fusion center combines the received quantized messages to produce a final estimate. The novel data-fusion method is based on the quantized measurement innovations and decentralized Kalman filtering (DKF) with feedback. For the proposed algorithm, the performance analysis of the estimation precision is provided. Finally, Monte Carlo simulations show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

Geostationary satellites(GEOs) play a significant role in the regional satellite navigation *** experiments show that the clock corrections could be mitigated through a single strategy or double differencing strategies for a navigation constellation,but for the mode of individual GEO orbit determination,high precision orbit and clock correction could not be obtained in the orbit determination based on the pseudorange data.A new GEO combined precise orbit determination(POD) strategy is studied in this paper,which combines pseudorange data and C-band transfer ranging *** strategy overcomes the deficiency of C-band transfer ranging caused by limited stations and tracking time *** the combination of transfer ranging and pseudorange data,clock corrections between the GEO and the stations can be estimated simultaneously along with orbital parameters,maintaining self-consistency between the satellite ephemeris and clock correction *** error covariance analysis is conducted to illuminate the contributions from the transfer ranging data and the psudoranging *** data collected for a Chinese GEO satellite with 3 C-band transfer ranging stations and 4 L-band pseudorange tracking stations,POD experiments indicate that a meter-level accuracy is *** root-mean-square(RMS) of the post-fit C-band ranging data is about 0.203 m,and the RMS of the post-fit pseudorange is 0.408 *** component errors of the POD experiments are independently evaluated with the satellite laser ranging(SLR) data from a station in Beijing,with the residual RMS of 0.076 *** SLR evaluation also suggests that for 2-h orbital predication,the predicted radial error is about 0.404 m,and the clock correction error is about 1.38 *** for the combination of one C-band transfer ranging station and 4 pseudorange stations,POD is able to achieve a reasonable accuracy with the radial error of 0.280 m and the 2-h predicted radial error of 0.888 *** syn
