Based on observations of runoff plots and field investigations of gully cross-sections, impacts of various soil and water conservation measures on runoff and sediment yield are analyzed for different rainfall conditions. The results show that antecedent rainfall and rainfall intensity are the main factors affecting the runoff and soil erosion processes. Rainfall events with antecedent rainfall can produce high runoff and sediment yield. Large differences in the characteristics of two rainfall events will result in greater variations of total runoff and sediment yield from the same runoff plot. Under the same soil control measure and rainfall condition, soil and water conservation measures can reduce the impacts of antecedent rainfall and rainfall intensity on runoff and soil erosion. Among various measures, level terrace seems to be the greatest for soil conservation purposes. Combining with engineering measures,Vegetation measures is also effective in controlling runoff and soil erosion. In the initial stage of vegetation enclosure measures, engineering measure is necessary to improve the environment for ecological recovery. Gully head protection can control gully erosion effectively, but the effectiveness of gully head protection would be reduced when rainfall intensity increases. Therefore, the design of a gully head protection structure must be based on local hydrological conditions.

An　Outline　of　Mesozoic　to　Paleogene　SequenceStratigraphy　and　Sea－Level　Changes　in　Northern　Himalayas，Southern　Xizang

In the Northern Himalayan region of Southern Xizang (Tibet),from the Lower Triassic to Upper Eocene 73 Sequences have been identified, with an average duration of 2.9 Ma;these can in turn be grouped into 24 super-Sequences and 6 super-sequence sets. During Mesozoic and Paleogene, several large sea - level falls occurred in the Eastern Neo-Tethys. Among the recognized sea- level falls, the important ones include those at the ages of 255 Ma, 215 Ma,177 Ma, 138 Ma, 103 Ma and 68 Ma .Those at 239 Ma, 215 Ma, 157 Ma,80 Ma, 50Ma and 36 Ma are also significant. The third-order Sequences and sea-level cycles Probably reflect mainly global sea - level fluctuations, while the higher rank cycles seem more closely related to the basin evolution of the Neo-Tethys. Based on the study, six major periods have been suggested for ths tectonic evolution of the Eastern Neo-Tethys and the plates, i. e. the Pangea Period (Pre-Triassic), continental rifting Period (Triassic to Early Jurassic ), inter-continental sea Period (Middle Jurassic ), continental divergence period (late Middle Jurassic to Early Cretaceous ), continental convergence period (Late Cretaceous ) and the continental collision Period (Paleogene ). These major Periods can be further subdivided into eight stages according to the basin evolution. In each of the periods and Stages, Sequences and their boundaries show clear characters related to the tectonic background. The study indicater that the initial breakup of the Pangea along the Indus- Yarlung may have taken Place around 239 Ma. The Late Bathonian to Early Callovian seems to have been a critical time in the evolution of the Neo-Tethys, with the turning Point around 158 Ma. The blocks split from the northern margin of the Gondwana continual did not obviously drift away from the Indian Plate until Callovian .The oceanic crust subduction in the Neo- Tethys may have Started at 113Ma, while the contraction of the ocean probably began at 107- 103 Ma. Electron irradiation effects on DC electrical performances of SiGe HBT in a comparison with Si BJT

The DC characteristics of SiGe HBT irradiated at different electron dose havebeen studied in a comparison with those of Si B JT. Generally, I_b and I_b - I_(b0) increase, I_c,I_c -I_(c0) and its +/- transition V_(be) as well as DC current gain ft decreases with increasingdose; increase of I_b -I_(b0) with increasing dose for Si BIT is much larger than that for SiGe HBT;beta increases with V_(be) or I_b, but decreases at I_b < 0.25 mA with I_b, and congregates athigher dose; and a damage factor d(beta) is much less at the same dose for SiGe HBT than for Si *** HBT has much better anti-radiation performance than Si BJT. Some anomalous phenomena forincrease of I_c, I_c -I_(c0), I_b -I_(b0) and beta at low dose have been found. Some electron trapshave been measured. The mechanism of changes of characteristics is discussed.

During mammalian oocyte meiosis and preimplantation development,abnormal cell division happens frequently and can lead to serious defect in the *** kineses are evolutionarily conserved serine/threonine kinase playing important roles during cell *** found that the mammalian germ cell specific Aurora kinase C is highly expressed in mouse oocyes and preimplantation *** siRNA and specific chemical inhibitor,we investigate the function of Aurora C and its close homologue, Aurora B,in these ***,knocking down Aurora B or C differentially affected securin degradation and the timing of cell division,while their overexpression had the opposite *** C knocking down delayed the timing of homologous separation,and this can not be rescued by Aurora B overexpression,suggesting that they have distinct roles in spindle assembly checkpoint(SAC). Moreover,dominant negative MAD1 were also unable to override the SAC activation caused by knocking down Aurora C,implying that it is down stream of MAD2 and a critical component of *** results indicate that the balance between Aurora B and Aurora C may regulate the timing of cell division in mouse oocytes and preimplantation embryos.

Game theory approach to optimal capital cost allocation in pollution control

This paper tries to integrate game theory, a very useful tool to resolve conflict phenomena, with optimal capital cost allocation issue in total emission control. First the necessity of allocating optimal capital costs fairly and reasonably among polluters in total emission control was analyzed. Then the possibility of applying game theory to the issue of the optimal capital cost allocation was expounded. Next the cooperative N person game model of the optimal capital cost allocation and its solution ways including method based on Shapley value, least core method, weak least core methods, proportional least core method, CGA method, MCRS method and so on were delineated. Finally through application of these methods it was concluded that to apply game theory in the optimal capital cost allocation issue is helpful to implement the total emission control planning schemes successfully, to control pollution effectively, and to ensure sustainable development.

Dilution enthalpies of sodium chloride and some monosaccharides (glucose, galactose, xylose, arabinose, and fructose) in water and mixing enthalpies of aqueous sodium chloride and these monosaccharide solutions were measured by using an improved precision semimicro-titration calorimeter. Transfer enthalpies of sodium chloride from water to aqueous saccharide solutions were evaluated as well as enthalpy interaction parameters of sodium chloride with these monosaccharides in water. Combined with Gibbs energy interaction parameters, entropy interaction parameters were also obtained. The results show that interactions of the saccharides with sodium chloride depend on the stereochemistry of saccharide molecules. These interaction parameters can identify stereochemical structure of saccharide molecules.
