A policy-based automated negotiation for privileges in grid environments

To maintain the global consistency of the authorizing is a challenge when the system authorization is changed in grid environments. This pap.r.proposes a policy-based automatically negotiating method to deal with this issue. An effective system framework, which includes the certificate management, the access policy rep.r.ory, the negotiator and the automatically negotiating mechanism, is designed and implemented. The exp.r.mental results show that automated negotiation can quickly regain the global authorization consistency and only cause a little system overhead increasing. Comp.r.d with the manual authorization maintaining, the presented method can reduce the negotiating time significantly, and reduce the meaningless grid jobs because the inconsistent privileges are controlled timely.

The inferior conductivity and drastic volume expansion of silicon still remain the bottleneck in achieving high energy density Lithium-ion Batteries(LIBs).The design of the three-dimensional structure of electrodes by compositing silicon and carbon materials has been employed to tackle the above challenges,however,the exorbitant costs and the uncertainty of the conductive structure p.r.ist,leaving ample room for ***,silicon nanop.r.icles were innovatively composited with eco-friendly biochar sourced from cotton to fabricate a 3D globally consecutive conductive *** network serves a dual p.r.ose:enhancing overall electrode conductivity and serving as a scaffold to maintain electrode *** conductivity of the network was further augmented by introducing p-doping at the optimum doping temp.r.ture of 350℃.Unlike the local conductive sites formed by the mere mixing of silicon and conductive agents,the consecutive network can affirm the improvement of the conductivity at a macro ***,first-principle calculations further validated that the rapid diffusion of Li^(+)is attributed to the tailored electronic microstructure and charge rearrangement of the *** prep.r.d consecutive conductive Si@p-doped carbonized cotton fiber anode outp.r.orms the inconsecutive Si@Graphite anode in both cycling p.r.ormance(capacity retention of 1777.15 mAh g^(-1) vs.682.56 mAh g^(-1) after 150 cycles at 0.3 C)and rate p.r.ormance(1244.24 mAh g^(-1) vs.370.28 mAh g^(-1) at 2.0 C).The findings of this study may open up new avenues for the development of globally interconnected conductive networks in Si-based anodes,thereby enabling the fabrication of high-p.r.ormance LIBs.

The static thrust output on a sup.r.onducting coated conductor coil at different excitation and alternating current suspended above a three phase alternating current long-stator comprised of copp.r.coils is presented. Excitation current up to 45 A was applied through the sup.r.onducting coil acting as the excitation system of the sup.r.onducting linear synchronous motor (SLSM), alternating current up to 9 A was applied to the armature and magnetic air gaps of 10 and 15 mm were investigated for four different cases; coreless, with an iron core or yoke and both a core and yoke. By scaling up and converting the studied sup.r.onducting single pancake racetrack coil into a double pancake coil and connecting four of such coils in series, an SLSM prototype capable of generating 400 N of thrust output and 1 kW of power output with a 12 mm mechanical air gap op.r.ting at 77 K is proposed.

The work was based on the relationship between the crystal structure and p.r.meters of diamonds in the synthetic process, in which Ni Mn C powder catalyst was used. At first, the diamond crystals nucleated in a cubic octahedron morphology through controlling such synthetic p.r.meters as temp.r.ture and pressure in a p.r.meter region where cubic octahedron ctystals can be obtained. Then the diamond nuclei grew epitaxially into crystals with a p.r.ect octahedron morphology through increasing the synthesis temp.r.ture and decreasing the synthesis pressure in a p.r.meter region where octahedron crystals can be obtained.

The primary features of cancer are maintained via intrinsically modified metabolic activity, which is characterized by enhanced nutrient supply, energy production, and biosynthetic activity to synthesize a variety of macromolecular components during each passage through the cell cycle. This metabolic shift in transformed cells, as comp.r.d with non-proliferating cells, in-volves aberrant activation of aerobic glycolysis, de novo lipid biosynthesis and glutamine-dependent anaplerosis to fuel robust cell growth and proliferation. Here, we discuss the unique metabolic characteristics of cancer, the constitutive regulation of metabolism through a variety of signal transduction pathways and/or enzymes involved in metabolic reprogramming in cancer cells, and their implications in cancer diagnosis and therapy.

By using tilting carbodies, train can negotiate at a higher speed withoutreducing the passenger's ride quality. This is a good method to allow a significant increase inspeed at existing track to improve the railway transp.r.ation capability, and to enhance thecompetition ability of railways with other transp.r.ation systems. With the increase of the curvenegotiation speed, the wheel-rail lateral forces and wheel-rail wear of the tilting train willincrease. The self-steering radial bogie is an effective way to solve the problem. The dynamic modelof the tilting passenger car with self-steering bogies is established in detail, and the curvingp.r.ormance of the car is investigated.

An efficient quantum secret sharing protocol with orthogonal product states in the 33 Hilbert space is presented. The p.r.icles in the orthogonal product states form two p.r.icle sequences. One sequence is sent to Bob and the other is sent to Charlie after rearranging the p.r.icle orders. With the help of Alice, Bob and Charlie make the corresponding local measurement to obtain the information of the or- thogonal product states prep.r.d. This protocol has many distinct features such as great capacity and high efficiency.

Cholesteryl ester transfer protein (CETp) is a key p.r.icipant in the reverse transp.r. of cholesterol from the p.r.pheral tissues to the liver. To understand the role that CETp gene plays in the pathogenesis of coronary heart disease (CHD) , the promoter region, all 16 exons and adjacent intronic regions of CETp gene were screened for single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNps) in 203 CHD patients and 209 controls by a combination of p.r. denaturing high p.r.ormance liquid chromatography (DHpLC), molecular cloning, and DNA sequencing. A novel missense mutation in the CETp gene was identified. This mutation (L296Q) was a T-to-A conversion at codon 296 of exon 10 which replaced the codon for leucine (CTG) with the codon for glutamine (CAG). Association study revealed that L296Q mutation was associated with CHD with a significantly higher mutant allele frequency in the CHD patients than that in the controls (0. 160 vs. 0.091,x2= 9.014, p = 0.003), and that the odds ratio for the development of CHD was 1.83 for

Zelongnong ravine,a branch ravine of Brahmaputra,is an old large glacier debris-flow ***-flows with medium and/or small scales occur almost every year;multiple sup.r.debris-flows have also broken out in history,and have caused destructive disaster to local residents at the mouth of ravine and blocked *** huge altitude difference and the steep slope of the Zelongnong ravine provide predominant energy conditions for the *** drainage basin is located in the fast uplifted area,where the complicated geologic structure,the cracked rock,and the frequent earthquake make the rocks exp.r.ence strong weathering,thus plenty of granular materials are available for the formation of *** this region is located in the rain shadow area,the precipitation is concentrated and most is with high ***,the strong glacier activity provides water source for *** to literature reviews,most debris-flows in the ravine are induced by rainstorms,and their scales are relatively ***,when the melted water is overlaid,the large scale debris-flows may *** calculation such as the flow velocity and the runoff is conducted according to the monitoring *** result shows that large debris-flows can be aroused when the rainstorm and the melted water are combined well,but the possibility of blocking off Brahmaputra is *** occurrence of the sup.r.debris-flows is closely related to the intense glacier activity(e.g.,glaciersurge).They often result in destructive disasters and are hard to be prevented and cured by engineering measures,due to the oversized *** hazard mitigation measures such as monitoring and prediction are proposed.
