We first study structure coefficients of collective pairs with spin zero and spin two（SD） in a number of configurations by a few realistic *** investigate the robustness of these structure coefficients. Second,we study the validity of pair truncation of the nuclear shell model by using the semi-magic nucleus *** present low-lying states based on both nucleon pair approximation（NPA） and exact shell-model （SM） *** also calculate overlaps between wave functions of low-lying states calculated by using the NPA and those calculated by using the ***,we perform systematic calculations on low-lying states of nuclei with A = 202-212,using the *** use a phenomenological shell-model *** building blocks of our model space include one J = 4 valence neutron pair,and one J = 4,6,8 valence proton pair,in addition to the usual S and D *** calculate binding energies,excitation energies,electric quadrupole and magnetic dipole moments of low-lying states,and E2 transition rates between low-lying states. Our calculated results are reasonably consistent with available experimental *** calculated quadrupole moments and magnetic moments,many of which have not yet been measured for these nuclei,are useful for future experimental measurements.

We study the effects driven by the boson number on the critical behavior of some observable quantities that are sensitive to the nuclear shape phase transitions in the interacting boson model（IBM）.By comparing the experiments with the theory calculation,we find that the effective boson number in IBM best consistent to experiments is not more than the total pairs number of valence nucleons or holes,and an up bound of the effective boson number can be found in the U（5）-O（6） transition region at least in ***, two trajectories of second order phase transitions,the isotones with neutron number N_n=62 and the one with N_n=74,are confirmed by comparing the observable quantities in experiments with those in theory

Halo phenomena in nuclei are driving forces for the development of the physics with radioactive ion beams. They are threshold effects and have been first observed in the weakly bound system *** that most open shell nuclei are deformed,the interplay between deformation and weak binding raises interesting questions,such as whether or not there exist halos in deformed nuclei and,if yes,what are their new features. In order to describe adequately the halo phenomena in deformed nuclei,contributions of the halo,deformation effects,and large spatial extensions of these systems should be considered in a fully self-consistent way.A deformed relativistic Hartree Bogoliubov（DRHB） theory has been developed in which the DRHB equations are solved in a spherical Woods-Saxon basis with the proper asymptotic behavior at large distance from the nuclear center.

＜正＞We develop the method for the calculation of the total reaction cross sections induced by thehalo nuclei and stable nuclei. This approach is based on the Glauber theory, which is valid for thereactions at high energies. It is extended for reactions at low energy and at the intermediate energy bycorrecting with the quantum correction and Coulomb correction under the assumption of the effectivenuclear density distribution. The calculated results for the total reaction cross section induced by stablenuclei agrees well with the experimental data within 10 percent accuracy. The comparison between thenumerical results and the experimental data for the neutron halo nucleiand the proton halo nucleiindicates a satisfactory agreement after considering the halo structure of these nuclei, which implies thequite different mean fields for the reactions induced by halo nuclei and stable nuclei. The halo nucleondistributions and the root mean square radii of these nuclei can be extracted from above ***, it is clear to see that the medium correction of the nucleon-nucleon collision has little effecton the total reaction cross sections induced by the halo nuclei due to the very weak binding and the veryextended density distribution, which is quite different from the reactions induced by the stable nucleiwith the salient medium correction.

The asymmetric nuclear matter is investigated in the DBHF approach with a newdecomposition of the Dirac structure of nucleon self-energy from the G matrix. It isfound that the isospin dependence of the scalar and vector potentials is rather weak,although both potentials for neutron(proton) become deep(shallow) in the neutron richnuclear matter. The results in asymmetric nuclear matter are rather different fromthose obtained in a simple method, where the nucleon self-energy is deduced from thesingle particle energy. The nuclear binding energy as a function of the asymmetryparameter fulfills the empirical parabolic law up to very extreme isospin asymmetricnuclear matter in the DBHF approach. The behavior of the density dependence of theasymmetry energy is different from those obtained in non-relativistic approaches,although both give similar asymmetry energy at the nuclear saturation density.

IntroductionTm is a rare-earth element. Its activation cross sections are a good indicator for {3. science and technology applications. However, there are no evaluated data in several {3. data libraries. The activation cross sections forTm(n,2n), (n,3.), (n,γ) and some emission charged particle (n,x) reactions below 20 MeV were evaluated and calculated on the basis of experimental and theoretical data.
