Angular-momentum-projected energy surface calculations for A ≈ 110 nuclei indicate three distinct energy minima occurring at different angular-momenta. These correspond to normal, super-, and hy- per-deformed shapes coexisting in one nucleus. 110Pd is studied in detail, with a quantitative prediction on super- and hyper-deformed spectra by the Projected Shell Model calculation. It is found that several other neighboring nuclei in the A-110 mass region, with the neutron number around 64, also exhibit clear super- and hyper-deformation minima in the projected calculation.

Considered the Drell-Yan background in the intermediate invariant mass region,the dilepton production in an expanding hot baryon-rich quark-gluon matter fire-cylinder hasbeen studied based on a previously established rclativistic hydrodynamic model. It is foundthat with increasing the rapidity the dilepton yield is strongly suppressed. Such a characteristic, signaling the formation of the baryon-rich quark-gluon matter, can be tested in futureexperiments at Brookhaven and CERN.

＜正＞Research on superheavy nuclei is one of the hot points in nuclear physics [1-4]. We review the current{3. studies on superheavy nuclei. The structure and decay of heavy and superheavy nuclei are systematically studied by different models [5-13.. New models of α-decay half-lives and new formulae for nuclear binding energies and spontaneous fission half-lives are presented [7-10]. The{3. results are in good agreement with available data of heavy and superheavy nuclei. The properties of unknown superheavy nuclei are predicted.

A study of dilepton spectra, in intermediate mass region (IMR), from main background sources, quark phase, and secondary processes in hadronic phase on the basis of a relativistic hydrodynadric model has been carried out. The comparison between these results indicates that in this mass region the contribution from the background sources dominates, and due to the effect of the phase boundary on the evolution of the system the contribution from the quark phase becomes more important than that from secondary processes.

We re-study nucleon pole contribution in J/ψ→NNπ decays by including the imaginary part for the propagator of the off-shell nucleon with energy above πN threshold. It is found that when including the imaginary part in the propagator, the branching ratio of the decay width will descend about 11% compared with the result without including the imaginary part, no matter whether including the off-shell form factors or not. It also leads to a phase of up to 25° for the off-shell nucleon propagator at invariant mass around 1400 MeV. This effect needs to be considered for detailed partial wave analysis of N* resonances around this mass region.

A systematic overview on the characteristics of super heavy nuclei from Z=101 to Z=13. based on thedata by P.M(?)ller et *** *** nuclei which have the biggest mean binding energy in each of their isotopechain show systematic regular behavior,indicating that the mean binding energy is a good criterion to classify superheavy nuclei by their *** investigation on the nuclear data at and after Z=127 has been suggested.
