The normal asphalt index test, DSR test, FTIR and the GPC distribution analysis of molecular weight on the extraction and recovery of asphalt of the gussasphalt, SMA extraction and recovery of asphalt and the rotary-thin-film-oven-aged asphalt above 240 ℃ were introduced. The results indicate the rutting factor and fatigue factor of the extraction and recovery of asphalt of the gussasphalt are greatly improved, and an obvious absorption peak of carbonyl and a further decrease of the SBS molecular weight of the gussasphalt are found.

A new pretreatment method has been developed to improve the catalytic activity of the Ni-Fe-Mo-Co alloy electrode for hydrogen evolution reaction （HER）. The procedure involves pre-electrolyzing the Ni-Fe-Mo-Co alloy electrode in 3.% KOH solution containing 10% potassium sodium tartrate at 70℃ for 2 h, until some of the Mo and Fe elements are leached out. The surface morphology of the Ni-Fe-Mo-Co alloy demonstrates a unique hive-like structure after the pre- treatment, which has the pore size in a nanometer range （about 50 nm）, a very large real surface area, and good stability. The results of the electrochemical studies show that compared to other similar electrode materials and the treated Ni-Fe-Mo-Co electrode by leaching method, the pre-treated Ni-Fe-Mo-Co electrode has a much lower overpotential and much higher exchange current density for HER. In addition, a long-term continuous electrolysis test with a current interruption shows that the Ni-Fe-Mo-Co alloy has excellent catalytic stability.

To increase the critical thickness of CeO2 single buffer layer, the polymer assisted chemical solution deposition (PACSD) approach has been adopted to prepare a single buffer layer of Gd0.3.e0.7O1.85-x (GCO) on bi-axially textured Ni-5%W alloy substrate, and the influences of different annealing temperatures on texture and microstructure of the buffer layer has also been studied in this paper. The results demonstrate that a well textured, dense and smooth GCO single buffer layer with thickness of 180 nm has been obtained at 1100 ℃ annealing treatment. GdBa2Cu3.7-y (GBCO) film has been deposited on GCO buffered substrate via the similar approach, which is also well textured, dense and smooth. All these show that preparation of GCO buffer layer by PACSD method is an effective approach to prepare single buffer layer for large scale production.

Presented in this paper is an integrated approach of computer-aided product development, process design and operation analysis based on a kilo-plant. The implemented kilo-plant, as a research platform to manufacture product in kilogram-scale, was designed especially for fine and specialty chemicals. The characteristics of product synthesis, process operation and product quality control are investigated coupled with computer-aided monitoring, online modeling, simulation and operation process optimization. In this way, chemical product discovery, process design and operation are integrated in a systematic approach, in the aim to respond to rapid changing marketplace demands to new products.

In underdetermined blind source separation (BSS), a novel algorithm based on extended support vector machine (SVM) is proposed to estimate the mixing matrix in this paper, including the number of the active sources. Instead of traditional clustering algorithms, it mainly takes the modulus of observations and the number in each direction of arrival, without any prior knowledge about the sources except for sparsity, and it is not sensitive to the initial values. Simulations are given to illustrate availability and robustness of our algorithm.

The paste was prepared by mixing MgO, microsilica and H2O in the presence of water reducer at different reaction ratios and temperatures, and characterized by XRD, DTA, TGA, IR, and solid-state 29Si NMR. The experimental results showed that, besides Mg（OH）2, magnesium silicate hydrate （M-S-H） was formed at a low temperature such as 25 and 50 ℃. At a high temperature of 100 ℃, Mg（OH）2 can be further transformed into M-S-H completely, for instance, within ca. 1 month in an excess of microsilica. The average composition and structure of M-S-H was mainly related to the reaction mixture and curing temperature and was discussed in detail.

In this paper, the signals with generalized Gaussian distribution are considered. A mathematical formula is given to illustrate the sparsity of the signals. According to this formula, the measure of the Laplacian signal is 1, and Gaussian signal is 2. Given a signal, compared with Laplacian signal and Gaussian signal, we can intuitively know how sparse the signal is via its measure. Some examples demonstrate that, if there are no sufficient observed signals (e. g. only three observed signals), one can achieve underdetermined blind source separation (BSS) only for the sufficiently sparse source signals (e.g. much sparser than Laplacian signals) by the measure we defined.
