In this article,both the basic principles and the experimental methods of identity recognition technology based on heart sounds are ***,the characteristics of heart sounds and the feasibility of heart sounds as a biometric were analyzed.A synthetic model of heart sounds was then developed based on a family of wavelets;Finally,the characteristic parameters of heart sounds were extracted by using the heart sounds linear band frequency cepstra(HS-LBFC)with a specified configuration,and the similarity distance was adopted for heart sound *** highlight the difference in two heart sound signals between the time and frequency domains,a construction method of the heart sound wavelet,a calculation method of the parameters of a synthetic model,selection of the characteristic parameters of heart sounds and the corresponding data processing technology were *** experimental results showed that the proposed method exhibited excellent performance and practicability.

Web search engines are very useful information service tools in the Internet. The current web search engines produce search results relating to the search terms and the actual information collected by them. Since the selections of the search results cannot affect the future ones, they may not cover most people’s interests. In this paper, feedback information produced by the user’s accessing lists will be represented by the rough set and can reconstruct the query string and influence the search results. And thus the search engines can provide self-adaptability. There have been many skewed cancer gene expression datasets in the post-genomic era. Extraction of differential expression genes or construction of decision rules using these skewed datasets by traditional algorithms will seriously underestimate the performance of the minority class, leading to inaccurate diagnosis in clinical trails. This paper presents a skewed gene selection algorithm that introduces a weighted metric into the gene selection procedure. The extracted genes are paired as decision rules to distinguish both classes, with these decision rules then integrated into an ensemble learning framework by majority voting to recognize test examples; thus avoiding tedious data normalization and classifier construction. The mining and integrating of a few reliable decision rules gave higher or at least comparable classification performance than many traditional class imbalance learning algorithms on four benchmark imbalanced cancer gene expression datasets.

A kind of discounted problems for singular diffusion control have been studied. The drift and diffusion coefficients of state process are nonlinear. The class of models has been basically extended from a corresponding one established by Karatzes et al. before. By applying some analysis methods different from earlier works, the sufficient and necessary conditions of the existence of optimal control have been obtained. If an optimal control exists, it is a 'transient reflection' of state process for two lines.

The band structures of BSb and BxGa1-xSb alloys are studied using first-principles calculations in the generalized gradient approximation. By SQS-8 supercells to model a random alloy, the direct transition energy-gap (Γ15v- Γ1c) bowing of 3.0 eV is obtained for BxGa1-xSb alloys in x = 0-50%, in x = 0-11% the energy-gap is the band-gap and increases by 7 meV/%B with boron composition increasing; by SQS-16 supercells the bowing parameter is about 1.9 eV in x = 0-12.5%. The formation enthalpies of mixing, ΔH, are calculated for BxGa1-xAs and BxGa1-xSb alloys. A comparison of enthalpies indicates that BxGa1-xSb films with boron composition of 7% may be possible.

A new family of windows is constructed by convolutions via a few rectangular windows with same time width and is thus referred to as convolution windows. The expressions of the second-order up to the eighth-order convolution windows in both the time and frequency domains are derived. Their applications in high accuracy harmonic analysis of periodic signals are investigated. Comparisons between the proposed windows and some known windows with the same width shows that, when the synchronous deviation of data sampling is slight, the proposed ones have the least effect of spectral leakage. Therefore, the new windows are well suited for high accuracy harmonic analysis and parameter estimation for periodic signals. The error analysis and computer simulations show that the estimation errors, corresponding to frequency, amplitude and phase of every harmonic component of a signal, are proportional to the pth power of the relative frequency deviation in case of the pth-order convolution window is applied to windowing signal of approximately p cycles. By introducing real time adjustment in sampling interval, the proposed algorithm can adaptively trace signal frequency and lead to less sampling synchronous deviation. The proposed approach has the advantages of easy implementation and high measure precision and can be used in harmonic analysis of quasi-periodic signals whose fundamental frequency drifts slowly with time.

The circular packing problem with equilibrium constraints is an optimization problem about simplified satellite module layout design.A heuristic algorithm based on tabu search is put forward for solving this *** algorithm begins from a random initial configuration and applies the gradient method with an adaptive step length to search for the minimum energy *** jump out of the local minima and avoid the search doing repeated work,the algorithm adopts the strategy of tabu *** the process of tabu search,we improve the traditional neighboring solutions,tabu objects and the acceptance criteria of the current solution *** test two sets of benchmarks consisting of 11 representative instances from the current *** numerical results show that the proposed algorithm breaks the records in seven out of 11 instances,and obtains the optimal solutions for the other four instances.

The formulas of the energy gap and superconducting critical temperature appropriate for systems with both odd and even number of electrons are derived; the bases of the derivations are BCS theory and energy level statistics. Numerical results qualitatively agree with the experimental phenomena. i.e., the superconductivity of small metallic grains will first enhance then decrease to zero when the grain are getting smaller and smaller. The calculations indicate that the above phenomena happen in the metallic grains belonging to Gaussian Orthogonal Ensemble (GOE) and Gaussian Unitary ensemble (GUE) with zero spin; The superconductivity of small metallic grains in Gaussian Symplectic Ensemble (GSE) will monotonically decrease to zero with the decreasing of the grain size. The analyses suggest that the superconductivity enhancements come from pairing and the balance of the strengths between spin-orbital coupling and external magnetic field. In order to take the latter into account, it is necessary to include the level statistics given by Random Matrix Theory (RMT) in describing small metallic grains.

In commercial networks,autonomous user nodes operating on batteries are assumed to be selfish to consume their energy solely to maximize their own benefits,e.g.,data *** this letter a two-user cooperative game is proposed to perform the power allocation for selfish cooperative communication *** the game,one selfish user node could trade its transmission power for the other ones cooperative relaying directly,and both user nodes are willing to achieve an optimal data-rate increase through cooperative *** find the Nash bargaining solution(NBS) of the game,a low-complexity numerical particle swarm optimizer(PSO) algorithm is also *** results indicate that the NBS of the game is efficient,in that both users could experience better performance than they work independently,and fair,in that the degree of cooperation of a user node only depends on how much contribution its partner can make to improve its own performance.
