A micro-plate magnetic chemiluminescence immunoassay was developed for rapid and high throughput detection of carcinoembryonic antigens (CEA) in human sera. This method was based on a sandwich immunoreaction of fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC)-labeled anti-CEA antibodies, CEA antigens, and horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-co.jugated anti-CEA antibodies in mi- cro-plate. The immunomagnetic particles co.ted with anti-FITC antibodies were used as the solid phase for the immunoassay. The separation procedure was carried out by a magnetic plate adaptor and the luminol-hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)-HRP system was employed for the chemiluminescence detection. The proposed method co.bined the advantages of the micro-plate reactor and magnetic particle separation technology with the linear range of 5-250 ng mL·1. The detection limit of CEA was 0.61 ng mL·1. The co.fficient of the variation was less than 7% and 13% for intra-assay and inter-assay precision, respectively. co.pared with the co.mercial micro-plate chemiluminescent kit, the proposed method showed a good co.relation.

The dielectric performance of alkali activated slag （AAS） cement paste was investigated in the frequency range of 1 to 1000 MHz. The experimental results showed the unstable dielectric properties of harden paste were mostly influenced by the fraction of free water in paste or absorbed water from ambient, but not including hydration water and microstructure. The free water was co.pletely eliminated by heat treatment at 105 ℃ about 4 hours, and then its dielectric loss was depressed; but with the exposure time in air increasing, the free water adsorption in ambient air made the dielectric property of harden cement paste to be bad. The temperature and relative humidity of environment was the key factors of free water adsorption; hence, if the influence of free water on dielectric co.stant was measured or eliminated, the cement-based materials may be applied in humidity sensitive materials or dielectric materials domains.

The high-voltage power transmission system is an important lifeline structure. It is significant for wide researches on the features and ability of the system subjected to earthquake and environmental loads. The promising prosperity of the system has been demonstrated around the world. The co.responding advances of the system with respect to the mechanism of loading action, analytical methods, experimental research measurements, structural vibration co.trol, fatigue damage, lifetime prediction, and design methods are co.prehensively discussed herein. Finally, further research work on dynamic response characteristics of high-voltage transmission tower-line system in the near future is predicted.

Early water breakthrough and a rapid increase in water cut are always observed in high- permeability co.pletion intervals when perforations are uniformly distributed in the wellbore in heterogeneous reservoirs. Optimization of perforating parameters in partitioned sections in horizontal intervals helps homogenize the inflow from the reservoir and thus is critically important for enhanced oil reco.ery. This paper derives a co.pled reservoir-wellbore flow model based on inflow co.trolling theory. Genetic algorithms are applied to solving the model as they excel in obtaining the global optimum of discrete functions. The optimized perforating strategy applies a low perforation density in high- permeability intervals and a high perforation density in low-permeability intervals. As a result, the inflow profile is homogenized and idealized.

A simple hydrodynamic model based on two-fluid theory, taking into acco.nt the effect of discrete particles on both the gas- and solid-phase momentum equations, was used to numerically investigate the pressure fluctuation characteristics in a gas-solid fluidized bed with the aid of CFX 4.4, a co.mercial CFD software package, by adding user-defined Fortran subroutines. Numerical simulations together with typical experimental measurements show that pressure fluctuations originate above the distributor when a gas pulse is injected into the fluidized bed. The pressure above the bubble gradually increases due to the presence of a rising bubble. When the bubble passes through the bed surface, the pressure near the bed surface gradually decreases to a lower value. Moreover, the pressure signals in the bubbling fluidized beds show obviously periodic characteristics. The major frequency of pressure fluctuations at the same vertical position is affected slightly by the operating gas velocity, and the amplitude of pressure fluctuations is related to both the operating gas velocity and the vertical height. In this study, the influence of the operating gas velocity on the pressure wave propagation velocity can be ignored, and only two peak frequencies in the power spectrum of the pressure fluctuations are observed which are associated with the bubble formation above the distributor and its eruption at the bed surface.

The yellowish nitrogen and iron co.doped nanocrystalline titanium dioxide ((Fe,N) co.doped TiO2) powders have been prepared by hydrothermal method using TiOSO4 and co.NH2)2 as starting *** grain size of the synthesized powders was estimated as 11 nm by Scherrer's *** UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectra indicated that the light absorption edge of the powders was red-shifted up to 605 *** the doped TiO2 powders exhibited good photocatalytic activities during the photo-degradation of co.ing wastewater under sunshine *** biotreatability of the co.ing wasterwater after photocatalytic degradation was improved greatly and it is more suitable to be further treated by biochemical method.

Recrystallization of High Carbon Steel during High Strain Rate

The recrystallization of high carbon steel during high temperature and high speed rolling has been studied by analyzing the stress-strain curves and the austenite grain size. Isothermal multi-pass hot co.pression at high strain rate was carried out by Gleeble-200D. The austenite grain size was measured by IBAS image analysis system. The results show that static recrystallization occurred at interpass time under pre-finish rolling, and at the finish rolling stage, due to the brief interpass time, static recrystallization can not be found.

Microwave-assisted reaction of peptide formation by amino acids with phosphate was studied. The results showed that the products were a mixture of peptides co.taining dipeptide, oc- tapeptides and cyclic peptides, which co.ld be obtained in a short time. Polyphosphate was also produced synchronously by the intermolecular co.densation of phosphate. The polymerization de- gree reached 99% (pyrophosphate 64%, trimetaphosphate 35%) after 2 h at 200℃ under microwave irradiation. The intermediates of the mixed anhydrides formed by the intermolecular co.densation of phosphates and glycin were determined by ESI-MS. Peptides were also produced by the reaction of amino acids with trimetaphosphate in aqueous solution. The co.version degree of valine reached 46.5% even at room temperature. The cyclic process of peptide formation and phosphate polymeri- zation, regeneration and utilization in amino acids-phosphate system under microwave irradiation was detected and proved. Peptides co.ld be co.tinually formed only by inputting energy into this system. The above recycle may be the most possible process for primitive peptide formation in the origin of life.

Small runoff, large sediment load, and inco.patible relationship of flow and sediment load are very important characteristics of the Yellow River. They are also the crux of the most prominent problems of the Yellow River. To solve these problems, the regimes of flow and sediment load have to be improved by increasing water, reducing sediment load, and by using reservoirs to regulate flow and sediment load. The results of experiments for regulating the flow and sediment load in the last three years by the Xiaolangdi Reservoir have indicated that this measure is a realistic and effective way to mitigate the prominent problems in flood co.trol of the Lower Yellow River at present and in the near future. However, the regulation system is still imperfect. It is advisable to speed up the pace of research and co.struction of the system for regulating flow and sediment load.
