Motion graphs have been widely used as an effective technique in the synthesis of human *** synthesize well-formed motions,motion graphs require smooth transitions and good ***,the time and costs grow quadratically as the graph size *** this paper,we present a method to set up a hierarchical structure,called a structure *** coarse level of this graph models different motion categories and their transitions,and the fine level mainly captures different motion *** interpolation space method is used to improve the graph connectivity at the fine *** structure guides the establishment of a faster and more realistic graphical *** the building process,this structure also helps with searching the motion graph,by performing a traverse search and placing the findings into a direct look-up table or local search ***,when there is no direct link between the different motions,a navigation map is introduced to conduct an appropriate search path via a series of transition motion *** experimental results indicate that our approach could lower the computation time in construction and searching,while simultaneously providing a richer variety of motion styles.

THRESHOLD PROXY RE-SIGNATURE

The focus of this paper is to design an efficient and secure solution addressing the semi trusted issue in proxy re-signature schemes, i.e., the proxy knows the re-signature key from user A to user B, so he is able to translate any signatures made by user A to user B, which damages the essential requirement （＂non-repudiation＂ property） of proxy re-signature schemes. In this paper, the authors first define the security model for threshold proxy re-signature scheme, and then propose two threshold proxy re-signature schemes based on Ateniese-Hohenberger＇s and Shao-Cao-Wang-Liang＇s approach.

SYNERGY OF WALL SHEAR STRESS AND CIRCUMFERENTIAL STRESS IN STRAIGHT ARTERIES

The Wall Shear Stress （WSS） generated by blood flow and Circumferential Stress （CS） driven by blood pressure have been thought to play an important role in blood flow-dependent phenomena such as angiogenesis, vascular remodeling, and atherosgenesis. The WSS and CS in straight arteries were calculated by measuring the blood pressure, center-line velocity, wall thickness, and radius of vessels. The WSS and CS in the time domain were then decomposed into the amplitude and phase in the frequency domain. The CS amplitude to the WSS amplitude ratio （referred as stress ampli tude ratio, Zs ） and the phase difference between the CS and the WSS （referred as stress phase difference, SPA） in the fre quency domain were calculated to characterize the synergy of the CS and WSS. Numerical results demonstrated that the CS is not in phase with the WSS, a time delay in the time domain or a stress phase difference in the frequency domain between the WSS and the CS exists. Theoretical analysis demonstrated that the Zs and SPA are primarily determined by the local fac tors （blood viscosity, local inertial effects, local geometry, loeal elasticity） and the input impedance of whole downstream arterial beds. Because the arterial input impedance has been shown to reflect the physiological and pathological states of whole downstream arterial beds, the stress amplitude ratio Zs and stress phase difference SPA would be thought to be the appropriate indices to reflect the effects of states of whole downstream arterial beds on the local blood flow dependent phenomena such as angiogenesis, vascular remodeling, and atherosgenesis.

Computational model for perception of objects and motions

Perception of objects and motions in the visual scene is one of the basic problems in the visual system. There exist 'What' and 'Where' pathways in the superior visual cortex, starting from the simple cells in the primary visual cortex. The former is able to perceive objects such as forms, color, and texture, and the latter perceives 'where', for example, velocity and direction of spatial movement of objects. This paper explores brain-like computational architectures of visual information processing. We propose a visual perceptual model and computational mechanism for training the perceptual model. The compu- tational model is a three-layer network. The first layer is the input layer which is used to receive the stimuli from natural environments. The second layer is designed for representing the internal neural information. The connections between the first layer and the second layer, called the receptive fields of neurons, are self-adaptively learned based on principle of sparse neural representation. To this end, we introduce Kullback-Leibler divergence as the measure of independence between neural responses and derive the learning algorithm based on minimizing the cost function. The proposed algorithm is applied to train the basis functions, namely receptive fields, which are localized, oriented, and bandpassed. The resultant receptive fields of neurons in the second layer have the characteristics resembling that of simple cells in the primary visual cortex. Based on these basis functions, we further construct the third layer for perception of what and where in the superior visual cortex. The proposed model is able to perceive objects and their motions with a high accuracy and strong robustness against additive noise. computer simulation results in the final section show the feasibility of the proposed perceptual model and high efficiency of the learning algorithm.

SURFACE MESH PARAMETERIZATION WITH NATURAL BOUNDARY

Using the projected curve of surface mesh boundary as parameter domainborder, linear mapping parameterization with natural boundary is realized. A fast algorithm forleast squares fitting plane of vertices in the mesh boundary is proposed. After the mesh boundary isprojected onto the fitting plane, low-pass filtering is adopted to eliminate crossovers, sharpcorners and cavities in the projected curve and convert it into an eligible convex parameter domainboundary. In order to facilitate quantitative evaluations of parameterization schemes, threedistortion-measuring formulae are presented.

An interpolating boundary element-free method (IBEFM) for elasticity problems

The paper begins by discussing the interpolating moving least-squares (IMLS) method. Then the formulae of the IMLS method obtained by Lancaster are revised. On the basis of the boundary element-free method (BEFM), combining the boundary integral equation method with the IMLS method improved in this paper, the interpolating boundary element-free method (IBEFM) for two-dimensional elasticity problems is presented, and the corresponding formulae of the IBEFM for two-dimensional elasticity problems are obtained. In the IMLS method in this paper, the shape function satisfies the property of Kronecker δ function, and then in the IBEFM the boundary conditions can be applied directly and easily. The IBEFM is a direct meshless boundary integral equation method in which the basic unknown quantity is the real solution to the nodal variables. Thus it gives a greater computational precision. Numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the method.

On the Security of Multivariate Hash Functions

Multivariate hash functions are a type of hash functions whose compression function is explicitly defined as a sequence of multivariate equations. Billet et al designed the hash function MQ-HASH and Ding et al proposed a similar construction. In this paper, we analyze the security of multivariate hash functions and conclude that low degree multivariate functions such as MQ-HASH are neither pseudo-random nor unpredictable. There may be trivial collisions and fixed point attacks if the parameters of the compression function have been chosen. And they are also not computation-resistance, which makes MAC forgery easily.

Physical Simulation of Nonmetallic Particle Movement in Al Melt under Electromagnetic Field

Physical simulation is used to study the movement of nonmetallic particles in Al melt in electro- magnetic field. It is found that the terminal velocity of particles in different Reynolds number range has different functions. By confirming drag force coefficient of nonmetallic particles with Reynolds number in the range of 0.2-10 and 10-25 respectively, two functions of terminal ve- locity for spherical nonmetallic particles have been got accordingly, which provide a theoretical basis for separating nonmetallic inclusions from Al melt in electromagnetic field.

Efficient video cutout based on adaptive multilevel banded method

Although many efficient image cutout approaches have been proposed,it is still a challenge to cut out foreground objects from a video clip because of the costs of time and memory consumption and the difficulty in maintaining temporal coherence for the cutout *** this paper,we propose a novel and efficient video cutout approach by extending a multilevel banded image segmentation method to video *** our method,the segmentation results are propagated frame by frame at the lowest resolution level based on optical flow,and are refined in image pyramids level by level through banded graph *** construct an adaptive narrow band to ensure that the segmentation result falls exactly into the narrow band during *** results show that the video cutout approach based on adaptive multilevel bands dramatically reduces time and memory costs,and achieves ideal segmentation results.
