Synthesis of GoldMag particles with assembled structure and their applications in immunoassay

Micrometer-sized Fe3.4 particles and nano-sized gold particles were first synthesized by methods of self-aggregation of surface-chemically modified Fe3.4 nanoparticles and citrate reduction of the Au3. to Au0, respectively. Interaction between these two types of particles resulted in the assembly of nano-sized gold particles on the surface of the micrometer-sized Fe3.4 particles, forming an assembled structure with the Fe3.4 co.e particles around which are attached nano-sized gold parti- cles. The Fe3.4/Au structure is named GoldMag particles with assembled structure. The synthetic process, structure, and magnetic property of the GoldMag particles were analyzed. GoldMag particles with assembled structure have an irregular shape, rough surface with a diameter of 2.3.μm. These particles exhibit the superparamagnetic property with saturated magnetization of 41 A·m2.kg. In a single step, antibodies co.ld be readily immobilized onto the surface of the particles with a high binding capacity. The GoldMag particles can be used as a novel carrier in immunoassays. The maximum quantity of human IgG immobilized onto GoldMag particles was 3.0 μg/mg. In order to validate the quality of the GoldMag particles as immunoassay carriers, an immunoassay system was used. The relative amount of immobilized human IgG was measured by HRP-labeled anti human IgG. The co.fficient of variation within parallel samples of each group was below 6% and the co.fficient of variation of means between five groups carried out separately was below 7%. Based on the sandwich method, the Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) and interleukin-8 (IL-8) were also analyzed by qualitative and quantitative detection, respectively. The result indicated that the GoldMag particles with assembled structure were an ideal carrier in immunoassay.

The Rb(NTO) .H2. crystal has been synthesized by reaction of 3.nitro-l,2.4-triazole-5-one (NTO) with Rb2.1} in aqueous solution. Its crystal structure has been determined. The crystal belongs to monoclinic system. Crystal structure data: space group P2./ n; a = 0.63. 0(1), b = 0.82. 1(2., c =1.2.6 4(3. nm; β = 97.90(1)°; V = 0.669 9 (2. nm3. Z = 4, Dc= 2.3.6 g/cm3.μ = 7.3.5 nm-1, F(000) = 448. An eight co.rdinated co.pound is formed between Rb+ with oxygen atoms and nitrogen atoms. A layer structure is formed by co.rdination bonds and hydrogen bonds. The thermal deco.position mechanism of this co.rdination co.pound is discussed.

Bio-screening and quantification of methyl paraben in vinegar and co.onut juice separated by HPTLC

As a widely used food preservative,methyl paraben was experimentally evidenced with serious hormonelike adverse ***,a high performance thin-layer chromatography platformed bioluminescent bioautography and image analysis for the selective quantification and co.firmation of methyl paraben was proposed and validated in vinegar and co.onut ***,the detectability of the bioautography to the analyte on different layer materials was estimated,revealing that normal silica gel was the best *** that,the liquid of sample extract and working solution were separated to overco.e the background noises due to co.extracted *** separation result was then co.pled to the optimized bioautography,enabling instant and straightforward screening of the targeted *** accurate quantification,bioluninescent inhibition pattern caused by the analyte was processed by image analysis,giving useful sensitivity(LOD>16 mg/kg),precision(RSDco.ery rate 76.9%-112.2.).Finally,the suspected result was co.firmed by determining its MS fingerprint,further strengthening the reliability of screening.

Mesozoic subduction-accretion zone in northeastern South china Sea inferred from geophysical interpretations

A segment of Mesozoic subduction-accretion zone was inferred across thenortheastern South china Sea at approximately NE450 orientation. Basic evidence includes thefollowing: A belt of peek gross horizontal Bouguer gravity gradient (PGHGBA) is co.parable in sizeand intensity to that of the Manila subduction-accretion zone. A belt of high positive magneticanomalies appears to the north and sub-parallel to the PGHGBA, representing the volcanic arcassociated to the subduction zone. The PGHGBA crosses obliquely both Cenozoic structures and presentseafloor topography, indicating a pre-Cenozoic age. The segment is offset left-laterally byNW-running strike-slip faults, in co.co.d with the Mesozoic stress field of South china. Inaddition, the existence of the subduction zone is supported by wide-angle seismic data obtained indifferent years by different institutions. At approximate localities, a north-dipping ramp of Mohosurface is indicated by reco.ds of ocean-bottom seismometers, and a strong reflector about 8 kmbeneath the Moho reflector is indicated by both OBS and long-cable seismic reco.ds. Theidentification of a segment of Mesozoic subduction zone in NE South china Sea fills nicely the gapof the Great Late Mesozoic Circum SE Asia Subduction-acrretion Zone, which extended from Sumatra,Java, SE Kalimantan to N Palawan, and from Taiwan, Ryukyu to SW Japan.

Impacts of electrochemical disinfection on the viability and structure of the microbiome in seco.dary effluent water

Electrochemical disinfection(ECD)is a promising disinfection technique for wastewater reclamation;however,the impacts of ECD on the microbiome in seco.dary effluent wastewater remain *** this study,Propidium monoazide-qPCR(PMA-qPCR)and the plate co.nt method were used to evaluate the inactivation performance,and the PMA-16S rRNA gene sequences of living cells were targeted to study the microbiome.A discrepancy was found between PMA-qPCR and the plate co.nt method in the evaluation of cell co.nt,with increases of 1.5 to 2.2.orders of magnitude in the disinfection rate after 150 s of ***,the cell co.nt reco.ered and occasionally exceeded original levels within 3.d after *** was suppressed after ECD,but the microbiome after 150 s disinfection retained a higher level of evenness and stability in the co.munity with a median Shannon index(>3.7).Pathogenic bacteria remained high in relative abundance even after 150 s of 2. V disinfection,but the biofilm-forming population was effectively suppressed by *** co.occurrence network revealed a centralized and fragile network as disinfection persisted,demonstrating the destabilizing effects of ECD on the *** pathways for cell membrane synthesis and organic co.pound degradation were enriched after *** reaction of the microbiome after ECD was similar to other disinfection techniques in terms of co.munity structure.

Study on forward modeling of through-casing resistivity logging

Through-casing resistivity logging (TCRL) is a new kind of logging method for formation evaluation,reservoir monitoring and saturation changes tracking. In this paper,the basic principle of TCRL is de-tailed,and the modified transmission line equation method (MTLEM) is first proposed in china. The MTLEM has been employed to simulate the responses of TCRL,on the basis of which,the effects of formation resistivity,cement and casing on the responses of TCRL are analyzed,and the signals in-duced in different formations are also calculated,which can help the design of TCRL tool and data processing and interpretation in china.

co.observations of massive star forming regions at different evolutionary phases

The 12.0}(J=1-0), 13.0}(J=1-0) and C18O (J=1-0) emissions in 9 massive star forming regions, which are believed to be at different stages of massive star formation, were mapped with the 13.7 m millimeter wave telesco.e at Qinghai Station of Purple Mountain Observatory. Of the observed 9 sources, 13.0}co.es were detected in seven of them, and C18O co.es in five of them. And only two sources associated with C18O co.es and H2. masers showed the extended structures and strong outflows. This is the first detection of outflow associated with IRAS 2.566+582. in the observing field of S152.S153. The physical parameters of co.es and outflows for these sources, derived from Local Thermal Equilibrium (LTE) analysis, are presented. These observing results suggest that the C18O co.es will only appear when the gas density is high enough and the probability to have an outflow is very high when the clumps show the C18O and H2. maser simulta- neously.
