It is believed that a southward interplanetary magnetic field(IMF) is mainly responsible for the energy input from solar wind into the *** paper presents an unusual case of strong anti-sunward plasma flow(up to 2.km/s) in the polar cap ionosphere and large cross-polar cap potential(CPCP) during a period of horizontal IMF(|B|2.nT) observed by both ACE(at the L1 point) and geotail(on the dusk flank of the magnetosheath).The CPCP is even higher than that under preceding B≈-2.1}nT. Furthermore,GOES8 observed that the magnetosheatli field turns northward as the anti-sunward plasma flow and CPCP start to increase,which implies that the magnetosheath field interacting with the Earth’s magnetopause has significantly rotated and differs from the IMF observed by ACE and *** accordance with previous theoretical work,we suggest that the magnetic field line draping produces a southward magnetosheatli field and enhances anti-sunward plasma flow and the CPCP.

Yima Coal Corporation is considering to adopt highwall mining method with auger machine to recover coal from north surface pit that has reached final highwall *** major geomechanical issues associated with auger mining are highwall and pillar *** on the field investigation and laboratory test results of mechanical parameters,numerical modeling is carried out to assess the stability of highwall and *** measurements of highwall deformation have been used to validate and ensure the confidence for the development of realistic *** results of numerical modeling show that the mining method is feasible for mining the seam of 10 m thickness in north surface coal mine.

Occurrence of Cretaceous basalts in Fuxin County,Liaoning Province provides us an opportunity to understand Mesozoic mantle processes beneath the northern margin of the North china Craton(NNCC).Fuxin Jianguo basalts occur as volcanic channel phases with well-developed columnar jointings and contain few spinel Iherzolite and pyroxenite *** are poor in silica and rich in alkalis, Ti and Al,belonging to alkaline *** trace element compositions,Jianguo basalts are moderately enriched in LREE and LILE,but not depleted in *** have low Sr and high Nd and Pb isotopic *** geochemical characteristics suggest that Jianguo basalts originated from the depleted asthenosphere,representing an undifferentiated and uncontaminated primitive *** of these basalts indicates that the lithosphere beneath the region had thickness less than 65 km at the time of basalt eruption and was mainly composed of fertile pargasite-bearing spinel Iherzolite and plagioclase *** voluminous basaltic -andesitic magmatism during the early Jurassic—late Cretaceous time indicates that the commencement and accomplishment of lithosphere thinning in the NNCC was much earlier than that in the southern margin,since the mafic-intermediate volcanism only occurred at the Cretaceous time in the southern margin and the basalts with an asthenosphere isotopic signature at the *** shows that highly spatial and temporal heterogeneity existed in the Mesozoic lithosphere evolution.

Groundwater is the main source of drinking water for the urban and rural residents in the plain area of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,*** quality of groundwater has a direct relationship with human ***,3.6 groundwater samples collected from April to August in 2.03.were analyzed The samples were collected in basic evaluation units which are determined on the basis of *** dissolved solids,total hardness,pH ***-N,CHOH, Chemiluminescence detection of permanganate index (COD)and intestinal germ group were evaluated according to the guidelines of Groundwater Quality Standard(GB/T14848-93..The quality of the groundwater in each evaluation unit was classified by using the One Veto Method(a unified approach stipulated by the Ministry of Water Resources).The results indicate that the groundwater in the mainstream area of the Tarim Basin and the Yerqiang River Sub-basin belongs to Category V;the groundwater in the Wulungu River Sub-basin,the Kaidu-Kongque River Sub-basin,the Kashgar River Sub-basin, the Cherchen River Sub-basin and the Hotan River Subbasin belongs to CategoryⅣ;the groundwater in the Aibi Lake System belongs to CategoryⅡ,and the groundwater of other evaluation units belongs to CategoryⅢ.The causes of water quality formation were concisely analyzed. The results can be useful for the evaluation and management of water resources in the Xinjiang Plain Area.

Quasi 6-day oscillations in E occurrence were observed to occur in relation with planetary wave activity at Wuhan,china(3..6°N,114.5°E).Wavelet analysis of E occurrence time series revealed that a strong 5- to 7-day oscillation was present during the period from about day 12. to 13. of *** same quasi 6-day planetary wave oscillation was also found to dominate the spectrum of concurrent wind data measured in the 80- to 100-km region by a meteor radar,in agreement with the E *** is also a great deal of similarity between the 5- to 7-day band-pass filtered waveforms of E occurrence and the wind *** estimating the wave phase changes with altitude,the quasi 6-day PW in the zonal wind was found to be in phase with the sporadic E layer critical frequency,fE,at about 115 km,close to the observed E *** quasi 6-day PW modulation was also present in the amplitude of the 12.h and 2.-h periodicities which existed in the fE time *** present results provide new evidence in favor of a planetary wave indirect role on E formation through the modulation of tides,which in line with previous studies by Haldoupis and Pancheva(2.02.,and Pancheva et al.(2.03..

Xenotime is an ideal mineral for U-Th-Pb isotopic dating because of its relatively high U and Th contents,but typically low concentration of common *** characteristics,and the fact that it is widespread throughout various types of rocks,suggest that the U-Th-Pb dating of xenotime has broad *** of U-Pb dating on xenotime by ion microprobe(such as SHPJMP) have increased in recent years,whereas studies by laser ablation(LA)-ICP-MS are still *** this study,we developed a technique for U-Pb dating of xenotime using the 193.nm ArF laser-ablation system and Agilent 7500a *** evaluate the reliability of our method,a xenotime standard,BS-1,was analyzed and calibrated against another xenotime standard,*** weighted mean Pb/U ages of 510.1±5.2.Ma(2.,n = 2.),509.8±4.3.Ma(2.a,n = 2.) and 510.0±4.6 Ma(2.,n = 2.) were obtained using beam diameters of 16,2. and 3.μm,*** ages are identical to those determined by ID-TTMS method(weighted mean Pb/U age of 508.8±1.4 Ma),which supports the reliability of our LA-ICP-MS *** also analyzed xenotimes in leucogranites from South Tibet and granites from Xihuashan in southern china,and obtained accurate and precise ***,we observed systematic differences in Pb/U fractionation among xenotime,monazite and *** matrix-effect resulted in either under-correction or over-correction of fractionation,and thus led to inaccurate ***,a matrix -matched material is required for U-Pb dating of xenotime by LA-ICP-MS.

This work reports in detail the application of thermodynamic models or equations of state to the CH-HO fluid inclusions.A general method is presented to calculate the compositions of the CH-HO inclusions using the volume fractions and the dissolution temperatures of CH *** calculate the homogenization pressures and isolines of the CH-HO inclusions,an improved activity-fugacity model is developed to predict the vapor-liquid phase *** phase equilibrium model can predict methane solubility in liquid phase and water content in vapor phase from 2.3.K to 62.0}K and from 1 bar to 1000 bar(up to 2.00 bar for the liquid phase),within or close to experimental *** to a lot of reliable experimental phase equilibrium data,an average deviation of the water content in the vapor phase and methane solubility in the liquid phase is 4.2.%and 3.63.,

选择泥炭和褐煤进行热模拟试验并开展对比研究,目的是全面获得煤系有机质生烃特征。通过对草本泥炭和褐煤的热模拟实验液态产物饱和烃进行色谱—质谱分析得到,在泥炭和褐煤热模拟样品中均检测出丰富的甾族系列化合物,且以C2.甾烷占优势。研究发现,随热模拟温度增高,C2.甾烷相对含量减少,温度在3.0℃之后趋于稳定;而C2.甾烷和C2.甾烷相对含量具有增加的趋势,暗示了C2.甾烷的去甲基效应。C2.2.S/(2.S+2.R)值和C2.ββ/(ββ+αα)值可以判识样品是否成熟或未熟,是良好的成熟度指标。∑重排甾烷/∑规则甾烷值可以区分成样品成熟度。研究发现,在低演化阶段,泥炭和褐煤模拟曲线存在显著差异,而在高演化阶段,二者吻合较好。所以,对比研究泥炭和褐煤的地球化学特征,对认识煤系有机质生烃特征具有重要意义。
