Desulfurization metabolite of Rhodococcus erythropolis LSSE8-1 and its related desulfurizational gene fragments

Rhodococcus erythropolis LSSE8-1 is a newly isolated biodesulfurizaion strain from the soil of Chishui gas field, Guizhou Province, china. The analysis of its metabo-lism product shows that the strain is a kind of biocatalyst able to oxidize dibenzothiophene (DBT) to 2.hydroxydi- phenyl (HBP), and therefore the sulfur in DBT is selectively removed. By using DBTO2.(dibenzothiophene 5,5-dioxide) as substrate, both DBT and HBP are found in the culture, which shows that the reaction from DBT to DBTO2.is re-versible in the cell. While using 0.5 mmol/L DBT as control, 0.01—0.4.mmol/L DBTO2.shows poisonous effect to the cell, which will explain why there is no DBTO2.accumulation in the process of biodesulfurization. After treatment by lysozme, the plasmid DNA of the strain is isolated by alkaline method to be used as the template of PCR reaction. Three dsz gene fragments of 1.3. 1.0 and 1.2.kb respectively were amplified. Each fragment is ligate with PGEM-T vector, and cloned into E. coli. DH5. The clone DNA is sequenced and the result shows that dsz related genes are highly conservative. The identities of dszA and dszB with respect to IGTS8 are 100%, and the identity of dszC with that of IGTS8 is 99%.

The front of the Zoulang Nanshan Caledonian volcanic island arc zone in the northern Qilian Mountains is a forearc accretionary terrane, composed of multiple accretionary volcanic island arcs, flysch accretionary wedges,high-pressure metamorphosed detachment zones and remnants of ophiolites. It resulted from the northeastward subduction of the Early Palaeozoic Qilan oceanic crust beneath the Alxa block. High-pressure metamorphism, which occurred during the subduction, progressed through three stages: the initial stage of medium T-high P,the main stage of temperature decrease and pressure increase, and the lag stage of pressure decrease and temperature increase. Finally the paper presents a retrotrench subduction dynamic model indicative of northward subduction of the central Qilian block and southward accretion of the Alxa block during the period of 4.0-500 Ma.

The essential characteristic of DNA computation is its massive parallelism in obtaining and managing information. With the develop- ment of molecular biology technique, the eld of DNA computation has made a great progress. By using an advanced biochip technique, laboratory-on-a-chip, a new DNA computing model is presented in the paper to solve a simple timetabling problem, which is a special ver- sion of the optimization problems. It also plays an important role in education and other industries. With a simulated biological experiment, the result suggested that DNA computation with lab-on-a-chip has the potential to solve a real complex timetabling problem.

Previously published research from the Kuqa Subbasin along northern margin of theTarim Basin shows five tectonic-depositional phases from Triassic to Neogene *** order to reveal additional detailed information on the nature of provenance terrains and tectonic attributes since late Mesozoic time,five typical sandstone samples from Jurassic-Neogene strata were collected for U-Pb dating of detrital *** constitution of detrital zircons of the Middle Jurassic sample is essentially unimodal and indicates major contributions from the South Tian Shan even Yili-Central Tian Shan,wherein most 3.0-4.0 Ma zircons probably resulted from tectonic accretion events between the Yili-Central Tian Shan block and South Tian Shan Ocean during Silurian and Devonian time,with sandstone provenance tectonic attributes of passive continental *** Lower Cretaceous sample shows a complicated provenance detrital zircon signature,with new peak ages of 2.0-3.0 Ma as well as 3.0(or 3.0)-4.0 Ma showing evident arc orogenic provenance tectonic attribute,probably reflecting a new provenance supply that resulted from denudation process whthin the South Tian Shan and South Tian Shan *** are no obvious changes within age probability spectra of detrital zircons between the Cretaceous and early Paleogene samples,which suggests that similar provenance types and basin-range framework continued from Cretaceous to Early Paleogene ***,unlike the Cretaceous and early Paleogene samples,an age spectra of the Miocene sample is relatively unimodal and similar to that of the Pliocene sample,with peak ages ranging between～3.2.and～4.8 Ma older than the comparable provenance ages(peak ages about 3.0-4.0 Ma)of the Middle Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous ***,we conclude that the South Tian Shan was rapidly exhumated and the southern South Tian Shan had become the main source of clastics for the Kuqa Subbasin since the Miocene epoch.

Recrystallized grains, less than 2.0 nm in diameter were observed in heavily shear zones of a high strength low alloy steel and a Ni-based alloy, and Also grain refinement, less than 3.μm in diameter was made in high purity aluminum by ECAE at ambient temperature. The experimental results showed that high strain rate and large deformation could induce dynamic *** on dislocation dynamics and grain orientation change enhanced by plastic deformation,a model for the recrystallization process is developed.
