The status of disturbances of both initial values and parameters in the models is further investigated, the exact explicit estimates on the disturbance energy and disturbance potential enstrophy are given; and while the initial disturbance fields rely only on the initial disturbance potential enstrophy, initial disturbance velocity circulation along the boundary, disturbance parameters, and the nonlinear stability criteria paralleling to Arnold’s second theorem are obtained, and the main results of Mu are generalized.

The complete cDNA and deduced amino acid sequences of the ribosomal proteins S23.AmphiS23.and L3.(AmphiL3.)from amphioxus Branchiostoma belcheri tsingtauense were identified inthis ***23.cDNA is 546 bp long and encodes a protein of 143.amino *** has a predictedmolecular mass of 15,851 Da and a pI of ***3. cDNA comprises 473.bp,and codes for a proteinof 123.amino acids with a predicted molecular mass of 14,543.Da and a pI of ***23.shares morethan 83. identity with its homologues in the vertebrates and more than 84% identity with those in ***3. is more than 63. identical to its counterparts in the vertebrates and more than52% identical to those in the *** blot analysis demonstrated the existence of 1-2 copiesof the S23.gene and 2-3.copies of the L3. gene in the genome of amphioxus *** *** in sharp contrast to the presence of 6-13.copies of the S23.gene and 15-17 copies of the L3. gene in therat *** is clear that the housekeeping genes like S23.and L3. underwent a large-scale duplication inthe vertebrate lineage,reinforcing the gene/genome duplication hypothesis.

In view of the fact that the simple analytic model is important both in acquiring the dynamic rule of Ocean and in understanding its mechanical essence, a unified solution of transient Ekman drift model encompassing the Fredholm's solution with constant wind and the hidaka, Nomitsu, and Defant's solution with unsteady wind is provided, and the paradox that it is uncertain if the solution satisfies the boundary condition is pointed out and explained. The present study shows that a simply mathematical treatment is able to remove this paradox, hoping to call for the mathematicians' notice.

The study area lies in the subaqueous delta, which came into being in 1964 - 1976. Oneoil-field road has been built for exploring petroleum to form a wave barrier. The hydrodynarnic conditions on the north side of the road are relatively violent, on the contrary the hydrodynarnic conditions on the south side of the road are nearly placid. This makes the study area a natural laboratory for studying the influence of the hydrodynarnic conditions on the fractal characteristics of the tidal flat. Selecting an area is named Case Ⅰ on the side of stronger hydrodynarnic activities and an area is named Case Ⅱ on the other side. Measuring the topography and sampling and analyzing the granulometrical composition, it is found that the hydrodynarnic conditions have fatal influence on the surface fractal dimensions and the granulometrical fractal dimensions of the area. In Case Ⅰ , which has strong hydrodynarnic conditions, the surface fractal dimensions are obviously larger than those of Case Ⅱ , and the granulometrical fractal dimensions are relatively smaller than those of Case Ⅱ , the surface fractal dimensions of Case Ⅰ decrease quickly with the increase of grid size; the granulometrical fractal dimensions are disperse, while the hydrodynarnic conditions of Case Ⅱ are just reverse. A sampling line and a core sampling on each side of the road are selected. It is found that on the south side of the road the granulometrical fractal dimensions vary regularly in the line and with the depth, the farther apart from the road, the smaller the fractal dimensions, and the deeper the sampling position the larger the fractal dimensions, while granulometrical fractal dimensions on the north side of the road have no such regularity pattern. The mechanism of the influence of the hydrodynarnic conditions on the fractal characteristics is discussed.

Using the data specially observed on the Bohai Sea oil platform by the authors for studying thermocline for two weeks, the thermocline depth, the temperature and the salinity of the layers below and above the thermocline were numerically modelled. The model is based on the Stigebrandt model and some important supplements are made in this paper in accordance with the local condition of the sea. The modelling results fit well in the observations. It is proved that the entrainmem due to both the tide and the wind can give rise to rather intense mixing cross the thermocline. This process makes the temperature rising below the thermocline,and causes the nutrient increasing above it,which has important significance for the marine physical environment and the marine organism.

An infinity of conservation laws of fKdV equation is derived in terms of the Miura and Gardner's transform. The pseudo-mass and energy theorems are studied by the first two conservation laws. As a typical example, the theoretical mean wave resistance and the regional distribution of energy of the precursor soliton generation are determined by means of the first and the second conservation laws.

INS （Inelastic Neutron Scattering） spectrum of methane hydrate was measured on MARI （a direct-geometry chopper spectrometer） at Ruther-ford Appleton Laboratory, UK. Compared with ice Ih, it is found that the whole spectrum of methane hydrate moves toward high-energy by about 1.5 meV. Using lattice dynamical （LD） technique, computer simulations of methane hydrate were carried out. In the simulations, four potential models （BE TIP3., TIP4P, MCY） were employed to calculate the phonon density of states （PDOS）. Comparing the calculated PDOS spectrum with the experimental spectrum, it is found that BF, TIP4P, and TIP3. potential lattices give out well-separated translational and librational bands while MCY potential lattice is unstable to do so and this model is not suitable to describe hydrate system.

In order to investigate the crack propagation in quasi-brittle materials like rock, ceramic and concrete, Hillerborg and his co-researchers abstracted the fracture process zone in front of a stress free crack in terms of a “fictitious crack zone”. On the fictitious crack zone, cohesive stresses distribute following a given softening relationship of stress vs. crack opening. Based on the polynomial or power series expression of cohesive crack opening displacement, the relationship of the cohesive stress vs. the crack opening displacement is established using elastic theory and integral equation, and some unknown physics variables are obtained using variation approach. The calculation results gained in this paper are close to the experimentally test ones.
