Second-or.er.consensus in networ.s of dynamic agents with communication time-delays

This p.p.r.p.op.ses second-or.er.consensus p.otocols with time-delays and gives the measur. of the r.bustness of the p.otocols to the time-delay existing in the networ. of agents with second-or.er.dynamics. By emp.oying a fr.quency domain method, it is p.oven that the infor.ation states and their.time der.vatives of all the agents in the networ. achieve consensus asymp.otically, r.sp.ctively, for.ap.r.p.iate communication timedelay if the top.logy of weighted networ. is connected. p.r.icular.y, a tight up.er.bound on the communication time-delay that can be toler.ted in the dynamic networ. is found. The consensus p.otocols ar. distr.buted in the sense that each agent only needs infor.ation fr.m its neighbor.ng agents, which r.duces the comp.exity of connections between neighbor.ng agents significantly. Numer.cal simulation r.sults ar. p.ovided to demonstr.te the effectiveness and the shar.0}ess of the theor.tical r.sults for.second-or.er.consensus in networ.s in the p.esence of communication time-delays.

Inter.acial Micr.str.ctur. and p.op.r.ies of Ti(C, N)/Ni Bonded by Tr.nsient Liquid-p.ase Diffusion

Effects of the main p.ocess p.r.meter.（temp.r.tur. and time） on micr.str.ctur. and p.op.r.ies of Ti（C, N）/Ni inter.ace bonded by （Cu＋Nb） inter.ayer.in a vacuum diffusion bonding device wer. investigated. The inter.acial micr.str.ctur.s consisted initially of Ni3.b metallic comp.und and eutectic of Ni3.b ＋ CuNiss, and finally tr.nsfor.ed to （Ti, Nb）（C, N）＋Ni3.b near.Ti （C, N） and NiCuss ＋ Ni3.b near.Ni when diffusion bonding temp.r.tur. was 1 523.1 573.K. It was clear.that Cu was a constituent in the tr.nsient liquid p.ase （TLp. into which Ni was dissolved by for.ing Cu-Ni tr.nsition liquid. Nb was dissolved in Cu-Ni tr.nsition liquid r.p.dly. Ti （C, N） conld be wetted by r.sultant Ni-Nb-Cu tr.nsient liquid p.ase which was followed by a little （Ti, Nb）（C, N） solid solution for.ed at inter.ace. This incr.ased the inter.ace combining cap.bility. Ultimately the inter.ace shear.str.ngth was able to r.ach 140 Mp.. The theor.tle analysis and exp.r.mental r.sults show that the gr.wth of inter.acial r.action layer.Ni3.b accor.s with p.r.bola law, and the activation ener.y of diffusion r.action is 115.0±0.5 kJ/mol, while the diffusion r.action sp.ed constant is 12.53.mm/s^1/2.

With the incr.ase in mining dep.h, mine heat har. has ap.ear.d to be mor. p.ominent. The mine heat har. could be r.solvedor.r.duced by ice r.fr.ger.tion. In the p.esent study, accor.ing to the analysis of the sur.ace mor.0}ology of fish scale, abiomimetic functional sur.ace str.ctur. for.the inter.or.wall of elbow is designed. Based on the theor. of liquid-solid two p.aseflow, a CFD numer.cal simulation of ice-water.mixtur. flowing thr.ugh the elbow is car.ied out using finite element *** exp.r.ments of p.essur. dr.p.and flow r.sistance for.both bionic and common elbows ar. conducted to test theeffect of the bionic elbow on flow r.sistance r.duction. It is found that with the incr.ase in the ice mass fr.ction in the ice-water.ixtur., the effect of bionic elbow on r.sistance r.duction becomes mor. obvious.

Cu+Al_2O_3.comp.site coating on AISI 1045 steel sur.ace by laser.cladding

Fe r.ch p.r.icles wer. obser.ed in the clad layer.dur.ng micr.str.ctur.l obser.ation with SEM and chemical comp.sition analysis by EDAX. Constr.cting a family of gener.lized Lyap.nov functions, a new method is p.op.sed to obtain new global attr.ctive set and p.sitive invar.ant set of the Lor.nz chaotic system. The method we p.op.sed gr.atly simp.ifies the comp.ex p.oofs of the two famous estimations p.esented by the r.ssian scholar.Leonov. Our.unifor. for.ula can der.ve a ser.es of the new estimations. Emp.oying the idea of inter.ection in set theor., we extr.ct a new Leonov for.ula-like estimation fr.m the family of the estimations. With our.method and the new estimation, one can confir. that ther. ar. no equilibr.um, p.r.odic solutions, almost p.r.odic motions, wander.ng motions or.other.chaotic attr.ctor. outside the global attr.ctive set. The Lor.nz butter.ly-like singular.attr.ctor. ar. located in the global attr.ctive set only. This r.sult is ap.lied to the chaos contr.l and chaos synchr.nization. Some feedback contr.l laws ar. obtained to guar.ntee that all the tr.jector.es of the Lor.nz systems tr.ck a p.r.odic solution, or.globally stabilize an unstable (or.locally stable but not globally asymp.otically stable) equilibr.um. Fur.her. some new global exp.nential chaos synchr.nization r.sults ar. p.esented. Our.new method and the new r.sults ar. exp.cted to be ap.lied in r.al secur. communication systems.

Inter.ctions of p.r.icles with solidifying fr.nt in Al_2O_(3.) /Al Si comp.sites

The behavior.of cer.mic p.r.icles at the solid/liquid inter.ace and the distr.bution of p.r.icles in metallic matr.x comp.sites was studied with a zone unidir.ctional solidification method. Two kinds of p.r.ice disp.r.ed comp.sites, Al 2O 3. /Al 12.6%Si Sr.and Al 2O 3. /Al 12.6%Si Sr.Ca containing Al 2O 3.p.r.icles in volume fr.ction 2%～5% wer. used. In the Al 2O 3. /Al Si Sr.comp.sites, the p.r.icles wer. p.shed by the solidifying fr.nt, and did not unifor.ly distr.bute in the solid. But in the Al 2O 3. /Al Si Sr.Ca comp.sites, the p.r.icles wer. engulfed by the solidifying fr.nt and unifor.ly distr.buted in the solid. The p.r.icles engulfing into the solid was r.alized only by Sr.and Ca addition at the same time. As the inter.acial ener.y between solid and p.r.icle was decr.ased in this case, the Al 2O 3.p.r.icles acted as the substr.tes of heter.geneous nucleation for.the Si p.ases, which made the p.r.icles to be engulfed.
