CDKs play key roles in controlling cell cycle progression in all eukaryotes. In plants, multiple CDKs are present, among which the best characterized CDKs are PSTAIRE CDKs. In this study, we carried out Western blot, immunoelectron microscopy and antibody treatment with an anti-PSTAIRE monoclonal antibody to explore the subcellular localization and functions of PSTAIRE CDKs in Physarum polycephalum. The results of Western blot and immunoelectron microscopy showed that in P. polycephalum, a PSTAIRE CDK-like protein was 3. kD in molecular weight and located in both nuclei and cytoplasm. In nuclei, the protein was mainly associated with chromosomes and nucleoli. The expression of the PSTAIRE CDK-like protein in both the plasmodia and nuclei showed little fluctuation through the whole cell cycle. When treated with an anti-PSTAIRE monoclonal antibody at early S phase, the cells were arrested in S phase, and the mitotic onset of P. polycephalum was blocked for about 1 h when treated at early G2 phase. For the standard Lagrangian in classical mechanics, which is defined as the kinetic energy of the system minus its potential energy, we study the rate of convergence of the corresponding Lax-Oleinik semigroup. Under the assumption that the unique global minimum point of the Lagrangian is a degenerate fixed point, we provide an upper bound estimate of the rate of convergence of the semigroup.

In most situations, the signer is generally a single person. However, when the message is written on behalf of an organization, a valid message may require the approval or consent of several persons. Threshold signature is a solution to this problem. Generally speaking, as an authority which can be trusted by all members does not exist, a threshold signature scheme without a trusted party appears more attractive. Following some ideas of the classical Shamir’s threshold signature scheme, a quantum threshold group signature one is proposed. In the proposed scheme, only t or more of n persons in the group can generate the group signature and any t-1 or fewer ones cannot do that. In the verification phase, any t or more of n signature receivers can verify the message and any t-1 or fewer receivers cannot verify the validity of the signature.

At present, studies on training algorithms for support vector machines (SVM) are important issues in the field of machine learning. It is a challenging task to improve the efficiency of the algorithm without reducing the generalization performance of SVM. To face this challenge, a new SVM training algorithm based on the set segmentation and k means clustering is presented in this paper. The new idea is to divide all the original training data into many subsets, followed by clustering each subset using k means clustering and finally train SVM using the new data set obtained from clustering centroids. Considering that the decomposition algorithm such as SVM light is one of the major methods for solving support vector machines, the SVM light is used in our experiments. Simulations on different types of problems show that the proposed method can solve efficiently not only large linear classification problems but also large nonlinear ones.

A threshold proxy quantum signature scheme with threshold shared verification is proposed. An original signer could authorize a group as its proxy signers. Then only t or more of n persons in the proxy group can generate the proxy signature on behalf of the original signer and any t-1 or fewer ones cannot do that. When the proxy signature needs to be verified,any t or more of n persons belonging to the verification group can verify the message and any t-1 or fewer ones cannot verify the validity of the proxy signature.

A threshold quantum secret sharing (TQSS) scheme between multi-party and multi-party was proposed using a sequence of single photons,which is useful and efficient when the parties of communication are not all present. We described the process of this TQSS scheme and discussed its security. It was shown that entan-glement is not necessary for quantum secret sharing. Moreover,the theoretic effi-ciency was improved to approach 100% as almost all the instances can be used for generating the private key,and each photon can carry one bit of information. This protocol is feasible with the present-day technique.

Centrality analysis has been shown to be a valuable method for the structural analysis of complex *** is used to identify key elements within networks and to rank network elements such that experiments can be tailored to interesting *** this paper,we show that the optimization process of modularity density can be written in terms of the eigenspectrum of kernel *** on the eigenvectors belonging to the largest eigenvalue of kernel matrix,we present a new centrality measure that characterizes the contribution of each node to its assigned community in a network,called modularity density *** measure is illustrated and compared with the standard centrality measures by using respectively an artificial example and a classic network data *** statistical distribution of modularity density centrality is investigated by considering large computer generated graphs and two large networks from the real *** results show the significance of the proposed approach.

Carrying out experiments and researches on tool bre ak age and undercut of work-piece of free-form surface by using wavelet analysis, both the fault features can be extracted in a special frequency segment of wave let decompose. According to the feature of transient fault, the author proposes for the first time the automatic determination technology of the threshold by us e of the adaptive filter characteristic of wavelet transform. Based on profound researches on steady fault feature, this dissertation makes an effective token o f steady fault feature by using wavelet energy method, and proposes the new idea to identify cut-in case and cut-out case, thereby successfully gives an uniqu e description quantitatively on the characterization of the variation of fault a nd cutting condition in the monitoring system.

By analysis of the basic properties of entanglement swapping of high-dimensional Bell states,a universal and general deterministic secure quantum communication(DSQC)protocol is proposed,in which unitary operation is not *** making use of the results of high-dimensional Bell measurement,the sender and the receiver can encode and decode the message respectively by performing the modular addition and *** mutually complementary bases are constructed;and according to the property of mutual complement,a method for checking security of the high-dimensional quantum channel is put *** common attack strategies are analyzed,and the corresponding error rates are *** the upper bound of the threshold of error rate is deduced.
