The paper firstly defined the remote sensing information quantification, analyzed the necessity of developing remote sensing quantification, figured out the application guidelines requirement, and pointed out the importance of quantification research. Then taking the remote sensing application research of CBERS-02 data quantification as the example, the paper described the whole quantification system of “remotely sensed digital signal-radiation information-field parameter inversion”. Finally the paper gave the prospect for the development trend of the quantitative remote sensing.

The ecosystem in northeastern china and the Russian Far East is a hotspot of scientific research into the global carbon *** aboveground biomass(AGB) is an important component in the land surface carbon *** this study,using forest inventory data and forest distribution data,the AGB was estimated for forest in Daxinganlin in northeastern china by combining charge-coupled device(CCD) data from the Small Satellite for Disaster and environment Monitoring and Forecast(HJ-1) and Geoscience Laser Altimeter System(GLAS) waveform data from the Ice,Cloud and land Elevation Satellite(ICESat).The forest AGB prediction models were separately developed for different forest types in the research area at GLAS footprint level from GLAS waveform parameters and field survey plot biomass in the Changqing(CQ) Forest Center,which was calculated from forest inventory *** resulted statistical regression models have a R2=0.68 for conifer and R2=0.71 for broadleaf *** models were used to estimate biomass for all GLAS footprints of forest located in the study *** GLAS footprint biomass coupled with various spectral reflectivity parameters and vegetation indices derived from HJ-1 satellite CCD data were used in multiple regression analyses to establish biomass prediction models(R2=0.55 and R2=0.52 for needle and broadleaf respectively).Then the models were used to produce a forest AGB map for the whole study area using the HJ-1 *** data obtained from forest inventory data of the Zhuanglin(ZL) Forest Center were used as independent field measurements to validate the AGB estimated from HJ-1 CCD data(R2=0.71).About 80% of biomass samples had an error less than 20 t ha-1,and the mean error of all validation samples is 5.74 t *** pixel-level biomass map was then stratified into different biomass levels to illustrate the AGB spatial distribution pattern in this *** was found that HJ-1 wide-swath data and GLAS waveform data can be combined to estim

Requirements for monitoring the coastal zone environment are first summarized. Then the appli- cation of hyperspectral remote sensing to coast environment investigation is introduced, such as the classification of coast beaches and bottom matter, target recognition, mine detection, oil spill identification and ocean color remote sensing. Finally, what is needed to follow on in application of hyperspectral remote sensing to coast environment is recommended.

This paper proposed a virtual quadtree (VQT) based loose architecture of multi-level massive geospatial data for integrating massive geospatial data dispersed in the departments of different hierarchies in the same sector into a unified GIS (Geographic Information System) platform. By virtualizing the nodes of the quad-tree,the VQT separates the structure of data organization from data storage,and screens the difference between the data storage in local computer and in the re-mote computers in network environment. And by mounting,VQT easily integrates the data from the remote computers into the local VQT so as to implement seam-less integration of distributed multi-level massive geospatial data. Based on that mode,the paper built an application system with geospatial data over 1200 GB distributed in 12 servers deployed in 12 cities. The experiment showed that all data can be seamlessly rapidly traveled and performed zooming in and zooming out smoothly.

In the management of lake eutrophication,the regulation effect of Fe is considered,in addition to the controlling nitrogen-and phosphorus *** on the "Fe hypothesis",this paper tentatively applied plant spectral response to the remote sensing early-warning mechanism of lake eutrophication.A laboratory water culture experiment with rice(Oryza sativa L.) was conducted to study Fe uptake by plants and the chlorophyll concentration and visible-near infrared spectrum of vegetable leaves as well as their interrelations under Fe2+ *** spectral indices,i.e.,A1(integral value of the changes of spectral reflectivity in the range 460―670 nm under Fe2+ stress),A2(integral value of the changes of spectral reflectivity in the range of 760―1000 nm under Fe2+ stress) and S(blue-shift range of red edge curve under Fe2+ stress),were used to establish quantitative models about the relationships between the rice leaf spectrum and Fe2+ *** the increase of Fe2+ in a culture solution,the Fe content in rice plants increased,while the chlorophyll concentration in vegetative leaves *** spectral reflectivity of vegetable leaves increased in the visible light band but decreased in the near infrared band,and the blue-shift range of the red edge curve *** indices A1,A2 and S all had significant correlations with the Fe content in rice leaves,the correlation coefficient being respectively 0.951(P 0.96) and predict the Fe level in rice leaves.

Photosynthetically active radiation(PAR) is essential for plant photosynthesis and carbon cycle,and is also important for meteorological and environmental *** advance china's disaster and environmental monitoring capabilities,the HJ-1A/B satellites have been placed in Earth *** of their environmental monitoring objectives is the study of *** simulated direct solar,scattered and environment radiation between 400 and 700 nm under different atmospheric parameters(solar zenith angle,atmospheric water vapor,atmospheric ozone,aerosol optical thickness,surface elevation and surface albedo),and then established a look-up table between these input parameters and *** on the look-up table,we used HJ-1A/B aerosol and surface albedo outputs to derive the corresponding *** of inversed instantaneous and observed PAR values using HJ-1 Heihe experimental data had a root mean square error of 25.2 W m-2,with a relative error of 5.9%.The root mean square error for accumulated daily PAR and observed values was 0.49 MJ m-2,with a relative error of 3.5%.Our approach improved significantly the computational efficiency,compared with using directly radiation transfer *** also studied the sensitivity of various input parameters to photosynthetically active radiation,and found that solar zenith angle and atmospheric aerosols were sensitive PAR *** albedo had some effect on PAR,but water vapor and ozone had minimal impact on PAR.

Intending to establish the national information infra-structure (NⅡ),the DC project forms a solid foundation for Chinese informatization. In such an NⅡ,multi-sourced spatial data are integrated. They focus on various themes and have different space and time features. Based on the NⅡ,numerous applications and services can be developed so that spatial information will benefit everyone. Since lots of organizations,such as governments,universities,and en-terprises,are involved in the implementation of DC,the DC project will significantly prompt the relevant scientific research as well as economic progress in china.

Plague,caused by the gram-negative bacterium Yersinia pestis,is a serious and rapidly progressing illness in humans that can be fatal if not treated *** Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is the largest area of natural Himalayan marmot(Marmota himalayana) plague foci in china and covers more than 63.000 *** County in Gansu Province is a part of this natural focus of plague and was chosen as a study *** study used an ecological niche modeling(ENM) approach to predict the potential distribution of the Himalayan *** and Disaster Monitor Satellite(HJ-1) data was used to investigate environment factors that affect plague host animal *** animal point data from active surveillance was combined with environmental variables from the HJ-1 satellite and other databases,and the models of the potential distribution of Himalayan marmot were produced with the Genetic Algorithm for Rule-Set Production(GARP).The probability of marmot presence was divided into 0-5%,5%-20%,20%-40%,40%-80%,and 80%-100% *** with 80%-100% probability exhibited the greatest potential for the presence of Himalayan *** to the predicted potential distribution of Himalayan marmot in the study area,active surveillance of plague hosts and plague control and prevention could be more efficient.

The divergence three-dimensional millet-seed body model and the continuous distributing layer-imitating model were introduced, which were used to express geologic body, and the procedure of generating these two models and their merits and demerits were synthesized. Three methods of geologic body’s three-dimensional expression were separately introduced, and the merits of the continuous distributing layer imitating model were proposed as comparing with the divergence three-dimensional millet-seed body model. The three-dimensional cubes were observed from any direction and any tangle with the application of dealing methods such as peeling, hollowing out, transparent or half-transparent.
