Underground constructions often encounter water environments,where water–rock interaction can increase porosity,thereby weakening engineering ***,the failure criterion for chemically corroded rocks becomes essential in the stability analysis and design of such *** study enhances the applicability of the Hoek-Brown(H-B)criterion for engineering structures operating in chemically corrosive conditions by introducing a kinetic porosity-dependent instantaneous mi(KPIM).A multiscale experimental investigation,including nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR),X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),pH and ion chromatography analysis,and triaxial compression tests,is employed to quantify pore structural changes and their linkage with the strength responses of limestone under coupled chemical-mechanical(C-M)*** employing ion chromatography and NMR analysis,along with incorporating the principles of free-face dissolution theory accounting for both congruent and incongruent dissolution,a kinetic chemical corrosion model is *** model aims to calculate the kinetic porosity alterations within rocks exposed to varying H+concentrations and ***,utilizing the generalized mixture rule(GMR),the kinetic porositydependent mi is *** of the KPIM-enhanced H-B criterion using compression test data from 5 types of rocks demonstrated a high level of consistency between the criterion and the experimental results,with a coefficient of determination greater than 0.96,a mean absolute percentage error less than 4.84.,and a root-mean-square deviation less than 5.95 ***,the physical significance of the porosity-dependent instantaneous mi is clarified:it serves as an indicator of a rock’s capacity to leverage the confining pressure effect.

BACKGROUND: Severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) can result in intestinal mucosal injury. This study aimed to demonstrate the protective effect of clodronate-containing liposomes on intestinal mucosal injury in rats with SAP. METHODS: Liposomes containing clodronate or phosphate buffered saline (PBS) were prepared by the thin-film method SAP models were prepared by a uniform injection of sodium taurocholate (2 mL/kg body weight) into the subcapsular space of the pancreas. Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into a control group (C group), a SAP plus PBS-containing liposomes group (P group) and a SAP plus clodronate-containing liposomes group (T group). At 2 and 6 hours after the establishment of SAP models, 2 mL blood samples were taken from the superior mesenteric vein to measure the contents of serum TNF-α and IL-12. Pathological changes in the intestine and pancreas were observed using hematoxylin and eosin staining, while apoptosis was detected using TUNEL staining. In addition, the macrophage markers cluster of differentiation 68 (CD68) in the intestinal tissue was assessed with immunohistochemistry. RESULTS: At the two time points, the levels of TNF-α and IL-12 in the P group were higher than those in the C group (P<0.05) Compared with the P group, the levels of TNF-α and IL-12 decreased in the T group (P<0.05). The pathological scores of the intestinal mucosa and pancreas in the T group were lower than those of the P group. In the T group, large numbers of TUNEL-positive cells were observed, but none or few in the C and P groups. The number of CD68-positive macrophages decreased in the T ***: Clodronate-containing liposomes have prote- ctive effects against intestinal mucosal injury in rats with SAP. The blockade of macrophages may provide a novel therapeutic strategy in SAP.

Dehydrins, known as the D-11 subgroup of late embryogenesis abundant (LEA) protein, are an immunologically distinct family of proteins, which typically accumulate in desiccation-tolerant seed embryo or in vegetative tissues in response to various environmental stresses such as drought, salinity and freezing. The existence of conservative sequences designated as K, S, and Y segments is a structural feature of dehydrins, and the K segment found in all dehydrins represents a highly conserved 15 amino acid motif (EKKGIMDKIKEKLPG) and forms an amphiphilicα-helix. According to the arrangement of these domains and clustering analysis, dehydrins are subdivided into 5 subtypes: YnSK, Kn, KnS, SKn and YnK. Different types of dehydrins are induced by different environmental stress in plants. Study results showed that dehydrins might play important protective roles under abiotic stress via a number of different mechanisms, including improving or protecting enzyme activities by the cryoprotective activity in responding to freeze/thaw or dehydration; stabilizing vesicles or other endomembrane structures by function as the membrane stabilizer during freeze induced dehydration, and preventing the membrane system from the oxidative damage induced by reactive oxygen radicals as the radical scavenger. Here, the gene expression and molecular mechanisms of dehydrin in response to stress in plants are discussed.

In-situ TiB2/7055Al nanocomposites are fabricated by in situ melt chemical reaction from 7055Al-K2TiF6-KBF4.system under high intensity ultrasonic field,and the mechanism and kinetic model of in-situ melt chemical reaction are investigated.X-ray diffraction （XRD） and scanning electron microscope （SEM） analyses indicate that the sizes of in-situ TiB2 nanoparticles are in the range of 80-120 *** results of ice-water quenched samples show that the whole process contains four stages,and the overall in-situ reaction time is 10 *** in situ synthesis process is controlled mainly by chemical reaction in earlier stage （former 3.minutes）,and by the particulate diffusing in later *** mechanism of key reaction between Al3.i and AlB2 under high intensity ultrasonic in the 7055Al-K2TiF6-KBF4.system is the ***,the reactive kinetic models in 7055Al-K2TiF6-KBF4.system are established.
