The Majiang paleo-reservoir is a typical destroyed hydrocarbon reservoir, buried in carbonate strata of china＇s southern marine-facies. Field geological explorations, interpretations of seismic profiles and balanced cross-section restorations around this paleo-reservoir reveal that its formation and evolution have been restricted by multiphase tectonic movements of different intensities. A regional tectonic mechanism and model have been suggested for the formation and evolution of the Majiang paleo- reservoir. geological field exploration has been carried out along three typical Silurian cross-sections and rock samples were tested in combination with water-rock interaction. Based on the result of cap tests, the planar distribution, the residual thickness, the erosion thickness and the preservation conditions, the Silurian mudstone cap is discussed around the Majiang paleo-reservoir. Combining the hydrodynamic conditions of its formation and evolution and its tectonic movements, we determined the fact that the thicker the cap is, the more resistant it is to hydrodynamic destruction. The multi-phase formation and destructive geological model of the paleo-reservoir is established through an overall analysis of multi- phase tectonic evolutions, cap developments, hydrodynamic conditions and solid mineral metallogenic ages measured by Rb-Sr, Pb and Sm-Nd isotope techniques.

Sm-Nd isotopic system is a powerful tracer and dating tool in geochemistry and cosmochemistry. Thermal ionization mass spectrometry(TIMS) is the benchmark method for obtaining high precision Nd isotope ***,a two-step separation was employed in order to obtain high purity Nd fraction,which makes the sample preparation *** this study,we present a new method to directly obtain precise and accurate Nd isotope ratios of geological samples without Sm-Nd separation. The key point is to well correct isobaric interferences of Sm on Nd for this *** accurate intensity of Sm can be obtained using Sm/Sm ratio of 4.87090 and mass discrimination factor of Sm(β),which is achieved using Sm/Sm ratio of 1.08583.with Russell ***,the real intensity of Nd was achieved,then also raw Nd/Nd,Nd/Nd ***,Nd/Nd ratio is normalized using Nd/Nd ratio of 0.7219 following exponential *** accuracy of this method is validated by replicating TIMS measurements for thirteen international reference materials of silicate rock,spanning a wide range of Sm/Nd from 0.13.to 0.46 and bulk *** measured Nd/Nd ratios of the rock standards are in good agreement with the reported values of within error of±0.004%.Our new method shortens the analytical procedure and significantly improves sample throughput which greatly contributes to those studies requiring a large dataset and quick analysis.

The Xiaoban gold deposit is a large-size deposit recently found in middlearea of Fujian Province. It belongs to magmatic hydrothermal type occurred in Mayuan Groupmetamorphic rocks of Middle Proterozoic and is controlled by low angle fault (detachment)structures. The contents of Au in Mayuan Group metamorphic rocks, Caledonian-Indosinian deformedgranite and early Yanshanian granite are higher with Au enrichment coefficient of 2. 06-5.68, 5.11and 6.67 than those in other geological bodies. And the higher enrichment coefficients (>2) of Ag,S, Sn and Te are similar to those of gold ore. Meanwhile, the distribution of Au in Mayuan Groupmetamorphic rocks and early Yanshanian granite with a low D-value (0.58 and 0.67) is favorable togold mineralization. REE characteristics of gold ore, ratios of (LREE/HREE), (La/Sm)_n, (Yb/Lu)_n,(La/Tb)_n and (Sm/Nd)_n are similar to Mayuan Group metamorphic rocks, only non or little normal Euabnormal of ore is dissimilar to metamorphic rocks. The δ(^(3.)S) of the gold ore, with a highhomogenization, is (-4.7X10^(-3. - (-2.7X 10^(-3.). The study of inclusion indicates 180-249℃ ofmineralization temperature, 3. 69 %-11. 81 % of salinities and 0. 869-0.991 g/cm^3.of densities ofmineralization fluid. Based on hydrogen and oxygen isotope (δ(^(18)O) = 11. 0 X 10^(-3. -11.7 X10^(-3., δ(D) = (-48 X 10^(-3.) - (-62 X 10^(-3.)) and initial w(^(87)Sr)/w(^(86)Sr) =0. 715,combining to the analysis of geological history, regional metamorphism and magamtic activity, theauthors confirm that the source for the ore fluid was mainly from magmatic, partly from metamorphicwater, and with a little influence of meteoric water. Isotopic dating made on Rb-Sr isochron age of182 Ma, by using alteration minerals of gold-ores from the deposit, indicates that themineralization occurs in early Yanshanian epoch. This is close to the age of 187 Ma of the Anchunmagmatite with a similar alteration and gold mineralization to the Xiaoban gold deposit. The age ofearly Yanshan

Using newly determined Sm isotopic abundances for correcting the isobaric interference of Sm on Nd and the established mass bias relationship between Sm and Nd,a series of in situ Nd isotopic measurements were conducted for relatively high Nd concentrations of natural geological materials, including apatite,titanite,monazite and perovskite on a Neptune multi-collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(MC-ICPMS),coupled to a 193.nm ArF excimer laser ablation *** results show that Ce has no significant influence on the precision and accuracy of Nd isotopic analyses for LREE-enriched geological minerals and that our approach is efficient in obtaining reliable Nd/Nd and Sm/Nd ratios for those materials with Sm/Ndisotope data,the in situ Nd isotopic data can provide important information on geological processes.
