We are concerned with the zero dielectric constant limit for the full electromagneto-fluid dynamics in this article. This singular limit is justified rigorously for global smooth solution for both well-prepared and ill-prepared initial data. The explicit convergence rate is also obtained by a elaborate energy estimate. Moreover, we show that for the wellprepared initial data, there is no initial layer, and the electric field always converges strongly to the limit function. While for the ill-prepared data case, there will be an initial layer near t = 0. The strong convergence results only hold outside the initial layer.

The main results of this paper are as follows: (1) Suppose an s stage Runge-Kutta method is consistent, irreducible, non-confluent and symplectic. Then this method is of order at least 2p + l(1 less than or equal to p less than or equal to s - 1) provided that the simplifying conditions c(p) (or D(p) with non-zero weights) and B(2p + l) hold, where 1 0, 1, 2. (2) Suppose an s stage Runge-Kutta method is consistent, irreducible and non-confluent, and satisfies the simplifying conditions c(p) and D(p) with 0 s. Then this method is symplectic if and only if either p = s or the nonlinear stability matrix M of the method has an (s - p) x (s - p) chief submatrix (M) over cap = 0. (3. Using the results (1) and (2) as bases, we present a general approach for the construction of symplectic Runge-Kutta methods, and a software has been designed, by means of which, the coefficients of s stage symplectic Runge-Kutta methods satisfying c(p),D(p) and B(2p + l) can be easily computed, where 1 I P less than or equal to s, 0 less than or equal to l less than or equal to 2, s less than or equal to 2p + l less than or equal to 2s.

In this paper, the generalized Oldroyd-B with fractional calculus approach is used. An exact solution in terms of Fox-H function for flow past an accelerated horizontal plate in a rotating fluid is obtained by using discrete Laplace transform method. A comparison among the influence of various parameters in the Oldroyd-B model and the angular velocity of the fluid on the velocity profiles is made through numerical method in graphic form.

A simple one-dimensional 2 x 2 hyperbolic system is considered in the *** model contains a linear hyperbolic equation, as well as a hyperbolic equation ofwhich the coefficients are about the solution of the linear one. The exact solution ispresented and discussed, then numerical experiments are given by TVD (or MmB)type schemes for Riemann problems. From the results, we know that the solutionsdo have δ-waves for some suitable initial data.
