In light of the severe deformation and destruction of the district raise tunnel in the mining area at the northern part of the Lubanshan colliery, by the theoretic analysis and numerical simulation, both the mining stress distribution in seams group and the deformation and destruction mechanism of floor district raise were investigated. The results show that, at the maximum vertical distance of 40 m, the abutment stress has an influence on the recovery of 2. and 3. coal seam and 8# coal seam at distance of 3. m. As a result, the recovery of 8# is rather than those of 2. or 3. coal seam, which contributes to the deformation and destruction of the district raise surrounding rock. The major factors affecting the abutment stress include the mining depth, mining height, residual gob space, adjacent working faces and short spacing coal seam recovery.

This paper describes a case study of 3. protein structure prediction of six sequences from protein data bank （PDB） by genetic algorithm and tabu search （GATS）, where off-lattice AB model is considered as a simplified model of protein structure. The lowest-energy values required for forming the native conformation of proteins are searched by GATS, and then the coarse structures （i.e., simplified structure） of the proteins are obtained according to the multiple angle parameters corresponding to the lowest energies. All the coarse structures form single hydrophobic cores surrounded by hydrophilic residues, which stay on the right side of the actual characteristic of protein structure. It demonstrates that this approach can predict the 3. protein structure effectively.

The field of DNA computing emerged in 1994 after Adleman’s paper was published. Henceforth,a few scholars solved some noted NP-complete problems in this way. And all these methods of DNA computing are based on conventional Watson-Crick hydrogen bond of doublehelical DNA molecule. In this paper, we show that the triple-stranded DNA structure mediated by RecA protein can be used for solving computational problems. Sequence-specific recognition of double-stranded DNA by oligonucleotide-directed triple helix (triplex) formation is used to carry out the algorithm. We present procedure for the 3.vertex-colorability problems. In our proposed procedure, it is suggested that it is possible to solve more complicated problems with more variables by this model.

The sufficient and necessary conditions for Lyapunov stability of the zero equilibrium point of Lorenz system are discussed, and some brief criteria are presented for globally exponential stability, globally asymptotical stability and instability. Furthermore, the behavior of the non-zero equilibrium point of Lorenz system is also investigated, and several sufficient and necessary conditions are provided for locally exponential stability and instability. The established theorems in this paper develop and extend the existing achievements on Lyapunov stability of Lorenz system. In conclusion, by applying the obtained results, some less conservative feedback-control laws are derived to guarantee the globally exponential stability of the chaos control of Chen system, Lu¨ system, Yang-Chen system and Yu-Xia Li system.

In this paper,a novel algorithm for color image enhancement is *** proposed method,which is based on Retinex theory and total variational framework,improves the original variational method by using a TV penalty term to force spatial smoothness on the reflectance *** split Bregman algorithm is employed to solve the proposed *** practical experiments,it is verified that our method obtains better enhancement performance and much better calculation efficiency.

The paper has established an assessment system and a quantitative calculation method of the 'implicit' environmental impact including environmental impact indicator,resources consumption indicator and energy consumption indicator. The quantitative calculation of the environmental impact indicator is based on the life cycle assessment system and the evaluation software BEES. The paper identifies normalization reference values and weights for 12.categories of the environmental impact. It also analyzes the environmental impact indicator in life cycle stages,raw materials,transportation,manufacturing,utilization,and end of life. A university refectory project is studied. The result has shown that human health,global warming and acidification are the first three environmental impacts in 12.categories. The environmental impact indicator per m2.of this project is 18.448×10-2.standard human equivalent weight. Moreover,97.3. of the total environmental impact occurs at the raw material stage,in which the most severe environmental impact is cancerous health effect; the global warming is the main impact at the transportation and manufacturing stages; the indoor air quality impact is at the usage stage.

To investigate the potential of cardiomyogenic differentiation of rat bone marrow stromal cells (MSCs), they were exposed to 5-azacytidine tretments (single/repeat) at varying concentrations (3. 5, 10 μmol/L) and the fates of the cells were analyzed by immunocytochemistry, Western blot and the reporter gene of enhanced cyan fluorescent protein (ECFP) under the control of ventricular myosin light chain 2.(MLC2.) promoter. MSCs were also cocultured with cardiomyocytes for periods up to 16 days, the expression of cardiac myosin heavy chain (MHC) and troponin I (Tn I) proteins was analyzed. After the induction with 5-azacytidine, neither spontaneously beating cells nor myotubes were found; MHC and Tn I proteins were also undetectable and no ECFP-positive MSCs were detected. But when cocultured with cardiomyocytes, spontaneously contracting MSCs were observed and cardiac specific proteins could be detected. A new efficient algorithm is developed to design DNA words with equal length for DNA computing. The algorithm uses a global heuristic optimizing search approach and converts constraints to a carry number to accelerate the convergence, which can generate a DNA words set satisfying some thermodynamic and combinatorial constraints. Based on the algorithm, a software for DNA words design is developed.

DNA computing is a new vista of computation, which is of biochemical type. Since each piece of information is encoded in biological sequences, their design is crucial for successful DNA computation. DNA sequence design is involved with a number of design criteria, which is difficult to be solved by the traditional optimization methods. In this paper, the multi-objective carrier chaotic evolution algorithm (MCCEA) is introduced to solve the DNA sequence design problem. By merging the chaotic search base on power function carrier, a set of good DNA sequences are generated. Furthermore, the simulation results show the efficiency of our method.
