The fully discrete lumped mass finite element method is proposed for vibration analysis of elastic plate-plate *** the space directions,the longitudinal displacements on plates are discretized by conforming linear elements,and the transverse displacements are discretized by the Morley *** means of the second order central difference for discretizing the time derivative and the technique of lumped masses,a fully discrete lumped mass finite element method is obtained,and two approaches to choosing the initial functions are also *** error analysis for the method in the energy norm is established,and some numerical examples are included to validate the theoretical analysis.

A class of quasi-linear singularly perturbed boundary value problems with singular equation is considered. Under suitable conditions, the existence and asymptotic behavior of a solution for the boundary value problem are studied by using the theory of differential inequalities, and the uniformly valid asymptotic expansion of solution with boundary layer is obtained.

In this paper,a generalized Laguerre-spherical harmonic spectral method is proposed for the Cauchy problem of three-dimensional nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation. The goal is to make the numerical solutions to preserve the same conservation as that for the exact *** stability and convergence of the proposed scheme are *** results demonstrate the efficiency of this *** also establish some basic results on the generalized Laguerre-spherical harmonic orthogonal approximation,which play an important role in spectral methods for various problems defined on the whole space and unbounded domains with spherical geometry.

To assess the peripheral refractive changes that occur when eye growth decelerates in *** We measured peripheral refraction and on-axis vitreous chamber depth on a total of 53.marmosets;3. treated monocularly for 12 weeks 9 hrs/day(26 with-5 D contact lenses,10 with+5 D)and 17 untreated *** the 26 marmosets treated with-5 D,10 wore contact lenses 9 hrs/day without interruptions and were mea-sured at the end of 10 weeks of treatment(T10)and after 4 weeks of recovery(R14).eight had both contact lenses removed for 3. mins twice/day(mid-morning and mid-afternoon)during the first four weeks of treatment(early interruption group)and eight had the lenses removed during the second four weeks of treatment(late interruption group).The two interruption groups were measured after 4,8 and 12 weeks of treatment only(T4,T8,T12).
