A new variable step size blind equalization algorithm based on a variable step size blind equalization algorithm in which step size is controlled by auto correlative error signal pointing to problems lie in limiting constant step size blind equalization algorithm, which momentum term is introduced and momentum term weighted parameter is adjusted by step size. The new algorithm which has a fast convergence and higher stability can equalize the channel better by theoretical analysis and simulations.

The geometric features and the distribution properties of pores in rocks were in- vestigated by means of CT scanning tests of sandstones. The centroidal coordi- nates of pores, the statistic characterristics of pore distance, quantity, size and their probability density functions were formulated in this paper. The Monte Carlo method and the random number generating algorithm were employed to generate two series of random numbers with the desired statistic characteristics and prob- ability density functions upon which the random distribution of pore position, dis- tance and quantity were determined. A three-dimensional porous structural model of sandstone was constructed based on the FLAC3. program and the information of the pore position and distribution that the series of random numbers defined. On the basis of modelling, the Brazil split tests of rock discs were carried out to ex- amine the stress distribution, the pattern of element failure and the inosculation of failed elements. The simulation indicated that the proposed model was consistent with the realistic porous structure of rock in terms of their statistic properties of pores and geometric similarity. The built-up model disclosed the influence of pores on the stress distribution, failure mode of material elements and the inosculation of failed elements.

In 2D fast multipole method for scattering problems,square quadrature rule is used to discretize the Bessel integral identity for diagonal expansion of 2D Helmholtz kernel,and numerical integration error is introduced. Taking advantage of the relationship between Euler-Maclaurin formula and trapezoidal quadrature rule,and the relationship between trapezoidal and square quadrature rule,sharp computable bound with analytical form on the error of numerical integration of Bessel integral identity by square quadrature rule is derived in this paper. Numerical experiments are presented at the end to demonstrate the accuracy of the sharp computable bound on the numerical integration error.

Objective To investigate the effect of Levocarnitine on lipid metabolism and nutritional status of maintenance hemodialysis(MHD)patients and possible *** A total of 40 MHD patients [mean age(53.5±7.1.years] who underwent normal hemodialysis more than 6 months were randomly classified into two groups,Levocarnitine supplemented group(LS-G)(n=20;Levocarnitine supplementation after each normal hemodialysis session,at a dose of 1.0 g/day by intravenous administration)and control group(C-G)(n=20;normal hemodialysis).Before treatment,one month and three months after treatment we respectively measured or observed the following items,the tolerance to hemodialysis,carnitine level in plasma,C-reactive protein,IL-6,TNF-α,percentage of neutrophil,and some relevant nutritional parameters,such as lipid profile,transferrin,total protein,albumin and prealbumin *** analysis was conducted between the two *** In LS-G three months after treatment,the levels of carnitine,hemoglobin,and prealbumin in plasma were significantly increased(P<0.05),but C-reactive protein,neutrophil percentage,low-density lipoprotein and triglyceride were significantly decreased(P<0.05)in contrast to those in C-G and before ***,total protein,and albumin were elevated in LS-G,with no statistical *** There was a significant improvement of lipid metabolism and nutritional status for the long-term maintenance hemodialysis patients with Levocarnitine *** this improvement is related to the decrease of inflammatory factors.

This study was performed to build region-specific reference ranges of peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets for Chinese healthy adults from the young to the elderly and analyze the trends of changes in lymphocyte subsets for evaluating the impact of age on the values.1.1.healthy adults aged 1.-86 were recruited based on the SENIEUR *** sets of reference ranges were finally built applicable for the healthy young(1.-44 years),middle-aged(45-64 years) and elder adults(≥65).Comparisons in parameters among the three cohorts showed that a statistically significant increase in CD1.CD56+ NK cell was observed between the middle-aged and elder cohorts,whereas for the majority of the parameters,a significant decline was observed between the young and the middle-aged *** results showed that inverse correlations were observed between the age and CD1.+ B,CD3. T,CD3.CD4+ T,CD4+CD45RA+CD62L+ nave T cell and CD4+CD28+/CD4+,while the positive one was identified between the age and the NK *** significant changes of the most of immune parameters provided evidence for ***,T cell activation markers of CD8+CD3.+ and CD8+HLA-DR+ showed reverse trends of association with age,which provides a clue for further researches on the mechanisms underlying the paradoxical clinical presentation of the elder patients.

INTRODUCTIONBirth asphyxia may lead to disturbances of gastroenteric motility of newborn infants[1.2] . The change of gut pressure and reflux are the major manifestations of the motor disturbance [3.9] . To evaluate the effects of perinatal asphyxia on the gastroenteric motility, gastric and esophageal pressure and double pH were measured in a group of asphyxiated newborns. And. their pathophysiological and anatomical effects on gastroenteric function were discussed.

Haloxylon ammodendron (C. A. Mey.) Bunge is a host for the holoparasitic plant Cistanche deserticola Y. C. Ma, the original source of medicinal material known as Herba Cistanchis. The inter-simple sequence repeat marker was used to assess the genetic variations and relationships among six accessions of H. ammodendron with a total of 1.0 individuals collected from three localities in the Alxa Desert, Inner Mongolia, china. At each locality, individuals both parasitized (PP) by C. deserticola and non-parasitized (NP) were sampled. The results showed that Nei’s gene diversity and Shannon’s index of PP accessions were higher, but were not significantly different, from those of NP accessions. An unweighted pair-group method arithmetic average dendrogram showed two clusters, one that included all PP accessions, and the other the NP accessions. Genetic differentiation therefore existed between PP and NP accessions, which might be attributed to low gene flow between the NP and PP groups (Nm1.. However, the relationship between genetic distance and geographic distance within each group, although not statistically significant in this study, might be associated with high gene flow in both the NP and PP groups.
