Current serum neutralization assays based on the inhibition of the cytopathic effect（Nt-CPE） need to ma nipulate live viruses, which are time-consuming, labor-intensive, and have the potential exposure to infectious agents, so a safe and objective assay via pseudovirus for the fast and efficient detection of enterovirus 71（EV71） neutralizing antibodies was developed. First, we generated EV71 pseudovirus containing firefly luciferase gene in place of the capsid gene P1 in EV71 genome. Vero cells infected with 200 CCID50（50% cell culture infective dose） of EV71 pseudovirus for 24 h were found to have the best performance. Seval sera were measured by EV71 pseudoparticle neutralization assay（Nt-PPN） and the conventional serological method Nt-CPE. Neutralizing antibody titers measured by Nt-PPN and those obtained by Nt-CPE demonstrate a high correlation between the two methods. Overall, the PPN assay represents a valid alternative to conventional serological methods for the evaluation of EV71 neutralizing anti bodies. This method can be used for detecting neutralizing antibodies of other picornaviruses, such as hepatitis A vi rus（HAV） and coxsackievirus 16（CVA16）, and make it possible to determine whether there is cross-reactivity be tween EV71 and CVA16.

CDKs play key roles in controlling cell cycle progression in all eukaryotes. In plants, multiple CDKs are present, among which the best characterized CDKs are PSTAIRE CDKs. In this study, we carried out Western blot, immunoelectron microscopy and antibody treatment with an anti-PSTAIRE monoclonal antibody to explore the subcellular localization and functions of PSTAIRE CDKs in Physarum polycephalum. The results of Western blot and immunoelectron microscopy showed that in P. polycephalum, a PSTAIRE CDK-like protein was 3. kD in molecular weight and located in both nuclei and cytoplasm. In nuclei, the protein was mainly associated with chromosomes and nucleoli. The expression of the PSTAIRE CDK-like protein in both the plasmodia and nuclei showed little fluctuation through the whole cell cycle. When treated with an anti-PSTAIRE monoclonal antibody at early S phase, the cells were arrested in S phase, and the mitotic onset of P. polycephalum was blocked for about 1 h when treated at early G2 phase. With the help of the coincidence degree continuation theorem, we generalize to the case of impulsive systems of the second order some existence results obtained by Gaines and Mawhin in the ordinary case. In particular. for the impulsive functions the treatment does not assume any mono- tonicity conditions. which are necessary in earlier papers treated by *** and ***, *** and *** with other methods.

Early J_2 basalts in SE china:Incipience of large-scale late Mesozoic magmatism

Magmatism in SE china was dormant during 204―180 Ma, but was reactivated in 180― 170 Ma (early J2), and then became more and more intensive towards the end of early Cretaceous. The small-scale early J2 magmatism is the incipience to long-term and large-scale magmatism in this region. A near east-west (EW) trend volcanic belt was distributed across south Hunan, south Jiangxi and southwest Fujian was formed during early J2 time. Along this belt from the inland toward the coast, the lithology of basalts changes from alkali into tholeiite, and the amount of erupted volcanic rocks and the proportions of rhyolites coexisting with the basalts increase. On the basis of geochemical char- acteristics of these basalts, we infer that the melting degree of source rocks and the extent of frac- tional crystallization and crustal contamination all increased whereas the depth of mantle source de- creased from the inland to the coast, which led to the variations of geological characteristics of the volcanic belt. In early J2, the western spreading Pacific plate began to subduct underneath SE china continental block, reactivating near EW trend deep fault that was originally formed during the Indos- inian event. The stress of the western spreading Pacific plate and the extent of asthenosphere up- welling increased from the inland to the coast, which is consistent with the generation and evolution of early J2 basalts.

Study on lithogeochemistry of Middle Jurassic basalts from southern china represented by the Fankeng basalts from Yongding of Fujian Province

There exists an E-W trending Middle Jurassic volcanic zone in southern china. The Fankeng basalts in the Yongding basin of Fujian Province are considered to be a typical example. The Fankeng basalts have TiO2 contents in the range of 1.92%-3.21%. They are classified as high-Ti basalts. They also have higher total Fe (averaging FeO* = 11.09%). The Middle Jurassic Fankeng basalts from southwestern Fujian have obvious distinctive lithogeochemical features from early Cre- taceous basalts from southeastern coast of china. They have higher HFSE, such as Th, Nb, Ta, Zr and Ti. Their element ratios related with HFSE, such as Zr/Ba, La/Nb, La/Ta ,Zr/Y, Ti/Y, Ba/Nb, K/Ti and Rb/Zr are similar to those of OIB. The most samples have ε Nd(T) of-0.70-0.24, which are near chondrite. Some samples have higher ε Nd(T) of ***, these basaltic magmas might be derived from depleted asthenospheric mantle. The lithogeochemical characteristics of the Fankeng basalts may be caused by interaction between asthenosphere and lithosphere at the time. The (Early-) Middle Jurassic basalts and gabbros from southeastern Hunan, southern Jiangxi and northern Guangdong provinces show similar geochemical features to those of the Fankeng basalts from the Yongding of Fujian. Occurrence of these OIB-type basalts in the area may be regarded as the petrological mark of upwelling of asthenosphere at the time. Upwelling of asthenosphere has led to tectonic extension and the formation of rifted basin in the area.

Pleonaste in Boxian meteorite

There are three kinds of occurrence of pleonaste, a rare meteoritic mineral, totally found in Boxian meteorite. They are as the following: (ⅰ) occurring in the inner circle of the chondrule edge, of which a circle texture is composed; (ⅱ) occurring in the state of inclusions, included in an olivine chondrule, with close paragenesis of wadsleyite; (ⅲ) occurring in the state of porphyry. The chondrule in the first occurrence belongs to CA chondrules. The chemical compositions of pleonaste are heterogeneity except for the atomic ratios of Fe/(Mg+Fe), which can be attributed to the following reasons: (ⅰ) they are congenetic minerals; (ⅱ) the heterogeneity of the compositions of the solar clouds in the early states; (ⅲ) the chondrites are the multiple-stage evolution; (ⅳ) the further proof of Boxian meteorite is an unequilibrium common chondrite.

Accurate cropland information is critical for agricultural planning and production,especially in foodstressed countries like *** widely used medium-to-high-resolution satellite-based cropland maps have been developed from various remotely sensed data sources over the past few decades,considerable discrepancies exist among these products both in total area and in spatial distribution of croplands,impeding further applications of these *** factors influencing their inconsistency are also *** this study,we evaluated the consistency and accuracy of six cropland maps widely used in china in circa 2020,including three state-of-the-art 10-m products(i.e.,Google Dynamic World,ESRI Land Cover,and ESA WorldCover)and three 3.-m ones(i.e.,GLC_FCS3.,GlobeLand 3.,and CLCD).We also investigated the effects of landscape fragmentation,climate,and agricultural *** using a ground-truth sample revealed that the 10-m-resolution WorldCover provided the highest accuracy(92.3.).These maps collectively overestimated Chinese cropland area by up to 56%.Up to 3.%of the land showed spatial inconsistency among the maps,concentrated mainly in mountainous regions and attributed to the varying accuracy of cropland maps,cropland fragmentation and management practices such as *** work shed light on the promotion of future cropland mapping efforts,especially in highly inconsistent regions.

Aim:The interactions of selectins and their ligands initiate the process of leuko-cyte migrating into inflamed tissue.P-selectin glycoprotein ligand 1 （PSGL-1） isthe best characterized ligand of selectins,and has been demonstrated to mediatethe adhesion of leukocytes to all three selectins in ***-1 not only func-tions as an anchor molecule to capture the leukocytes to the activated endothelialcells by its interaction with selectins,but also transduces the signals to *** present work aimed to investigate the mechanism by whichPSGL-1-mediated signal activates neutrophils and enhances the adhesion to theendothelial ***:We detected the effects of the engagement of PSGL-1with monoclonal antibodies （mAb） or P-selectin on the adhesion of neutrophils tothe recombinant intercellular adhesion molecule-1 （ICAM-1）,and on the expres-sion of β***,the role of cytoskeleton in these process wasstudied by using inhibitor cytochalasin ***:The engagement of PSGL-Iincreased the expression of β2-integrin on the surface of neutrophils and en-hanced the adhesion of neutrophils to the recombinant *** againstCD18 impaired the adhesion of PSGL-1-engaged neutrophils to ***,the inhibitor cytochalasin B largely blocked the increase of CD 18 expression aswell as the adhesion of PSGL-1-engaged neutrophils to ***:The PSGL-1-transduced signals can enhance β2-integrin-involved adhesion ofneutrophils to the recombinant ICAM-1,and this process depends on the dynam-ics of cytoskeleton.

Magnetic fabrics in fault-related fold and its relation with finite strain: an example from Mingjiang thrust structures in Western Sichuan

The anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility (AMS) is a quick, effective and sensitive technique used to measure the weakly deformed sedimentary rocks, and also a reliable method to reveal the deforming mechanisms of fault-related folds. In Longmenshan front belt, a typical cross-section of fault-related folds is chosen to study the AMS. A total of 224 oriented specimens have been drilled at 23.different sampling sites which were distributed at the key structural positions of this structural section developed in the Xujiahe formation of the upper Triassic. Six elementary types of magnetic fabrics are recognized and established through this AMS study: Da sedimentary fabric; 2) an initial deformation fabric; 3. a pencil structure fabric; 4) a weak cleavage fabric; 5) a strong cleavage fabric; 6) a stretching lineation fabric. It has been found that most of magnetic fabrics are characterized by fabrics of weak deformation which belong to the pure-shear results of a pre-folding layer parallel shortening (LPS). In the fault-bend fold, almost all magnetic fabrics are the initial deformation fabrics of weak deformation, and denote that the deformation in the forelimb is stronger than that in the backlimb and no finite strain is shown in the footwall. While in the fault-propagation fold, finite strains are concentrated in the trishear zone where magnetic fabric results are approximately consistent with the estimated consequences of the kinematic model. The tectonic stress field indicated by the magnetic fabrics is basically the same along the whole structural section and shows a NW to SE compression and shortening which is accordant with the regional compressive stress field of the Longmenshan fold-thrust belt.
