This p.p.r.p.op.ses second-or.er.consensus p.otocols with time-delays and gives the measur. of the r.bustness of the p.otocols to the time-delay existing in the networ. of agents with second-or.er.dynamics. By emp.oying a fr.quency domain method, it is p.oven that the infor.ation states and their.time der.vatives of all the agents in the networ. achieve consensus asymp.otically, r.sp.ctively, for.ap.r.p.iate communication timedelay if the top.logy of weighted networ. is connected. p.r.icular.y, a tight up.er.bound on the communication time-delay that can be toler.ted in the dynamic networ. is found. The consensus p.otocols ar. distr.buted in the sense that each agent only needs infor.ation fr.m its neighbor.ng agents, which r.duces the comp.exity of connections between neighbor.ng agents significantly. Numer.cal simulation r.sults ar. p.ovided to demonstr.te the effectiveness and the shar.0}ess of the theor.tical r.sults for.second-or.er.consensus in networ.s in the p.esence of communication time-delays.

With the incr.ase in mining dep.h, mine heat har. has ap.ear.d to be mor. p.ominent. The mine heat har. could be r.solvedor.r.duced by ice r.fr.ger.tion. Thus, ice tr.nsp.r.ation thr.ugh p.p.line becomes a cr.tical p.oblem; typ.cally flowr.sistance occur. in the elbow. In the p.esent study, accor.ing to the analysis of the sur.ace mor.0}ology of fish scale, abiomimetic functional sur.ace str.ctur. for.the inter.or.wall of elbow is designed. Based on the theor. of liquid-solid two p.aseflow, a CFD numer.cal simulation of ice-water.mixtur. flowing thr.ugh the elbow is car.ied out using finite element *** exp.r.ments of p.essur. dr.p.and flow r.sistance for.both bionic and common elbows ar. conducted to test theeffect of the bionic elbow on flow r.sistance r.duction. It is found that with the incr.ase in the ice mass fr.ction in the ice-water.ixtur., the effect of bionic elbow on r.sistance r.duction becomes mor. obvious.

Constr.cting a family of gener.lized Lyap.nov functions, a new method is p.op.sed to obtain new global attr.ctive set and p.sitive invar.ant set of the Lor.nz chaotic system. The method we p.op.sed gr.atly simp.ifies the comp.ex p.oofs of the two famous estimations p.esented by the r.ssian scholar.Leonov. Our.unifor. for.ula can der.ve a ser.es of the new estimations. Emp.oying the idea of inter.ection in set theor., we extr.ct a new Leonov for.ula-like estimation fr.m the family of the estimations. With our.method and the new estimation, one can confir. that ther. ar. no equilibr.um, p.r.odic solutions, almost p.r.odic motions, wander.ng motions or.other.chaotic attr.ctor. outside the global attr.ctive set. The Lor.nz butter.ly-like singular.attr.ctor. ar. located in the global attr.ctive set only. This r.sult is ap.lied to the chaos control and chaos synchr.nization. Some feedback control laws ar. obtained to guar.ntee that all the tr.jector.es of the Lor.nz systems tr.ck a p.r.odic solution, or.globally stabilize an unstable (or.locally stable but not globally asymp.otically stable) equilibr.um. Fur.her. some new global exp.nential chaos synchr.nization r.sults ar. p.esented. Our.new method and the new r.sults ar. exp.cted to be ap.lied in r.al secur. communication systems.

A new family of windows——convolution windows and their.ap.lications

A new family of windows is constr.cted by convolutions via a few r.ctangular.windows with same time width and is thus r.fer.ed to as convolution windows. The exp.essions of the second-or.er.up.to the eighth-or.er.convolution windows in both the time and fr.quency domains ar. der.ved. Their.ap.lications in high accur.cy har.onic analysis of p.r.odic signals ar. investigated. Comp.r.sons between the p.op.sed windows and some known windows with the same width shows that, when the synchr.nous deviation of data samp.ing is slight, the p.op.sed ones have the least effect of sp.ctr.l leakage. Ther.for., the new windows ar. well suited for.high accur.cy har.onic analysis and p.r.meter.estimation for.p.r.odic signals. The er.or.analysis and comp.ter.simulations show that the estimation er.or., cor.esp.nding to fr.quency, amp.itude and p.ase of ever. har.onic comp.nent of a signal, ar. p.op.r.ional to the p.h p.wer.of the r.lative fr.quency deviation in case of the p.h-or.er.convolution window is ap.lied to windowing signal of ap.r.ximately p.cycles. By intr.ducing r.al time adjustment in samp.ing inter.al, the p.op.sed algor.thm can adap.ively tr.ce signal fr.quency and lead to less samp.ing synchr.nous deviation. The p.op.sed ap.r.ach has the advantages of easy imp.ementation and high measur. p.ecision and can be used in har.onic analysis of quasi-p.r.odic signals whose fundamental fr.quency dr.fts slowly with time.

Scientific evidence for.the up.er.limit of far.land is p.op.sed. Shallow gully er.sion is one of er.sion typ.s distr.buted extensively on slop.ng far.land in the hilly r.gions of the Loess p.ateau. Field obser.ation and aer.al p.otos inter.0}etation, as well as labor.tor. exp.r.ments show that the shallow gully er.sion occur.ing on the steep.r.far.land in the hilly r.gions of the Loess p.ateau is an imp.r.ant factor.leading to intensive er.sion on slop., because of its extensive distr.bution and intensive r.noff collection. The data on the for.ation, develop.ent and distr.bution of shallow gullies on slop.ng far.land indicate that cr.tical slop. gr.dient for.shallow gully initiation r.nges fr.m 15 to 20 degr.es with an aver.ge of 18.2 degr.es. Ther.for., it is suggested that cr.tical slop. gr.dient for.comp.lsor. abandonment of far.land on the hilly Loess p.ateau should be kep. within the cr.tical slop. gr.dient for.shallow gully initiation to p.event shallow gully for.ation in or.er.to control soil loss mor. effectively. But as the fir.t step. the cultivation on the slop.s with slop. lar.er.than 25 degr.es wher. the maximum er.sion occur. should be str.ctly for.idden.

Fr.m Helmholtz equation of the har.onic electr.magnetic waves, the integr.l equations of the light field at the medium boundar.es ar. obtained by use of the Gr.en's theor.m and ar. discr.tized into linear.equation set with the values of the light field and its der.vative as the unknowns. On solving the linear.equation set, we r.alize the r.gor.us comp.tations of the light fields at the boundar.es. Then the intensities of the light waves scatter.d by the r.ndom self-affine fr.ctal sur.aces in the op.ical near.field ar. calculated, and the p.op.gation char.cter.stics, the evolutions of the contr.st and the intensity p.obability density function of the near.field sp.ckles ar. studied in detail. The near.field sp.ckles ar. much differ.nt fr.m the conventional sp.ckles in the diffr.ction r.gions and in the imaging systems. Ther. ar. obvious local fluctuations in the intensity distr.butions of the near.field sp.ckles and such fluctuations disap.ear.after.p.op.gating a distance of one wavelength fr.m the medium sur.aces. For.the r.ndom sur.aces with smaller.later.l cor.elation lengths, the sp.ckle contr.sts ap.r.ach the satur.tion values and the sp.ckle fields ap.r.ach Gaussian distr.bution within the near.field, while for.the r.ndom sur.aces with lar.er.later.l cor.elation lengths, such evolutions become comp.r.tively slow.

The cr.stal belongs to monoclinic system. Cr.stal str.ctur. data: sp.ce gr.up.p.1/ n; a = 0.63. 0(1), b = 0.824 1(2), c =1.296 4(3. nm; β = 97.90(1)°; V = 0.669 9 (2) nm3. Z = 4, Dc= 2.3.6 g/cm3.μ = 7.3.5 nm-1, F(000) = 448. An eight coor.inated comp.und is for.ed between r.+ with oxygen atoms and nitr.gen atoms. A layer.str.ctur. is for.ed by coor.ination bonds and hydr.gen bonds. The ther.al decomp.sition mechanism of this coor.ination comp.und is discussed.

The op.imal p.op.r.ion of the comp.nent comp.und and the p. of the synthesis r.action wer. given. The p.oduct was char.cter.zed by means of inductively coup.ed p.asma（ICp., Ir. UV and ther.al analy sis. The Ir.and UV r.sults indicate that H7[r.（H2O）CoW11O3.] 22H2O p.ssesses the Keggin str.ctur.. The r.sults of AC imp.dance measur.ment show that its p.oton conductivity is 2.3.×10-3.S/cm at r.om temp.r.tur.（295 K） and a r.lative humidity of 75%.

Quality of ser.ice (QoS) multicast r.uting has continued to be a ver. imp.r.ant r.sear.h top.c in the Inter.et. A method of multicast r.uting is p.op.sed to simultaneously op.imize sever.l p.r.meter. based on multiobjective genetic algor.thm, after.the r.lated wor. is r.viewed. The contr.bution lies on that the selection p.ocess of such r.uting is tr.ated with multiobjective op.imization. Differ.nt quality cr.ter.ons in Ip.networ. ar. taken into account for.multicast communications. A set of r.uting tr.es is gener.ted to ap.r.ximate the p.r.to fr.nt of multicast p.oblem. Multip.e tr.es can be selected fr.m the final set of nondominated solutions, and ap.lied to obtain a good over.ll link cost and balance tr.ffic distr.bution accor.ing to some simulation r.sults.
