The newly developed full-potential linearized augmented plane wave (LAPW) and local orbitals (lo) based on standard APW methods are briefly introduced, and the structure and magnetic properties of R(Fe, Si)12 compounds (R = Y, Nd) are calculated using the method. The distribution of Si at different sites is analyzed based on total energy of one crystal unit with structure having been optimized. The characters of magnetic mo-ments, total density of states (TDOS) and partial density of states (PDOS) for different crystal sites Si occupies are obtained and analyzed. The results show that the total mag-netic moments of RFe10Si2 (R = Y, Nd) are larger than those of RFe10M2 (M = Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Mo and W) and the hybridization mechanism is seen as follows. Si(8j) reduce the mag-netic moments of Fe at three sites, however, Si(8f) mainly reduce the magnetic moments of Fe(8i) and Fe(8j) atoms. The Curie temperature is markedly enhanced by the introduc-tion of Si atoms according to spin fluctuation of DOS at Fermi level.

With the increase in mining depth, mine heat harm has appeared to be more prominent. The mine heat harm could be resolvedor reduced by ice refrigeration. Thus, ice transportation through pipeline becomes a critical problem; typically flowresistance occurs in the elbow. In the present study, according to the analysis of the surface morphology of fish scale, abiomimetic functional surface structure for the interior wall of elbow is designed. Based on the theory of liquid-solid two phaseflow, a CFD numerical simulation of ice-water mixture flowing through the elbow is carried out using finite element *** experiments of pressure drop and flow resistance for both bionic and common elbows are conducted to test theeffect of the bionic elbow on flow resistance reduction. It is found that with the increase in the ice mass fraction in the ice-watermixture, the effect of bionic elbow on resistance reduction becomes more obvious.

Let E and F be Banach spaces and f non-linear C1 map from E into F. The main result isTheorem 2.2, in which a connection between local conjugacy problem of f at x0E and a localfine property of f'(x) at x0(see the Definition 1.1 in this paper) are obtained. This theoremincludes as special cases the two known theorems: the finite rank theorem and Berger's Theoremfor non-linear Fredholm operators. Moreover, the thcorem gives rise the further results for somenon-linear semi-Fredholm maps and for all non-linear semi-Wedholm maps when E and F areHilbert spaces. Thus Theorem 2.2 not only just unifies the above known theorems but alsoreally generalizes them.

Recent geophysical surveys and basin modeling suggest that the No.1 fault in the Ying- gehai basin (YGHB) is the seaward elongation of the Red River fault zone (RRFZ) in the South china Sea (SCS). The RRFZ, which separates the South china and Indochina block, extends first along the Yuedong fault, offshore of Vietnam, and then continues southward and breaks off into two branches: the Lupar fault and the Tinjia fault. The southern extension of the Lupar fault dies out beneath the NW Borneo while the Tinjia fault extends southeast and reaches the Brunei-Sabah area. According to the gravity and geomagnetic data, and the tectonic evolution of the basins, there are different evolution histories between the Wan’an basin (WAB) and the basins in the Nansha block. The Tinjia fault may be the boundary between the Balingian block and the Nansha block. Hence, the line linking the Yue- dong fault and the Tinjia fault, which both are continental margin faults and strike-slip ones in the geological evolution histories, constitute the boundary between the Indochina and Nansha block. The Lupar fault, in contrast, is an intraplate fault within the Indochina block. The results provide new hints for reconstructing the tectonic evolution history of the RRFZ and the opening of the SCS, and also a framework for hydrocarbon prospecting in the region.

A novel mesoporous carbon/whisker-like carbon (MCWC) composite was used for the immobilization of laccase (Lac) and its bioelectrochemical behaviors were *** was confirmed by XPS that Lac was strongly adsorbed on the surface of the MCWC *** cyclic voltammetric results showed that the immobilized Lac underwent a direct quasi-reversible electrochemical *** value of the electron transfer rate constant ks was estimated to be 0.770 s-1,indicating a reasonably fast electron transfer between the immobilized Lac and the underlying *** surface concentration (I-) of Lac was estimated to be 2.73. × 10-12 mol/*** experimental results showed that the immobilized Lac displayed an appreciable electrocatalytic activity to the electrochemical reduction of *** properties could be attributed to the particular structure of loosely packed nanometer-scale carbon whiskers and the existence of a large amount of oxygen-containing *** immo- bilization method and the novel carrier (MCWC) may find new applications in fabricating the biocatalysts for biofuel cells.
