The motion of a spark-induced cavitation bubble and an air bubble near a rigid boundary is experimentally studied by using high-speed *** dimensionless parameters are used to describe the geometrical configuration of the bubble-bubble-boundary *** bubble-bubble interaction can be considered in two different *** cavitation bubble will collapse towards the air bubble if the air bubble is relatively small,and away from the air bubble if the air bubble is relatively *** two zones are identified in the bubble-boundary interaction,and they are the danger zone and the safety *** relative position,the bubble-boundary distance and the bubble-bubble distance play important roles in the bubble-bubble-boundary interaction,which can be considered in several conditions according to the responses of the *** jets are found to penetrate into the cavitation *** cavitation bubble and the air bubble（air jet） move in their own way without *** motion of a cavitation bubble may be influenced by an air bubble and/or a rigid *** influence of the air bubble and the influence of the boundary may be combined,like some thing of a vector.

AIM: To explore the distribution and metabolism of 13. I-gelatin microspheres ( 13. I-GMSs) in rabbits after direct injection into rabbits’ ***: Twenty-eight healthy New Zealand rabbits were divided into seven groups,with four rabbits per *** rabbit’s hepatic lobes were directly injected with 41.3.6 ± 5.106 MBq 13. *** day after 13. I-GMSs administration,4 rabbits were randomly selected,and 250 μL of serum was collected for γ *** and thyroid functions were tested on days 1,4,8,16,24,3.,48 and 64 after 13. The adsorption mechanism of Na^＋, Cl^- and other impurities on the surface of basic nickel carbonate was clarified by electric double layer model. Based on the mechanism, a new purification method was studied. The method can be described as washing-drying-rewashing-drying. The experimental results indicate that the process is very efficient to remove impurities adsorbed by the precipitate when using NiCl2 and Na2CO3.as the raw materials. The finished product＇s contents of sodium and chlorine are both less than 0.01 wt%.

Cholesteryl ester transfer protein (CETP) is a key participant in the reverse transport of cholesterol from the peripheral tissues to the liver. To understand the role that CETP gene plays in the pathogenesis of coronary heart disease (CHD) , the promoter region, all 16 exons and adjacent intronic regions of CETP gene were screened for single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in 203.CHD patients and 209 controls by a combination of PCR, denaturing high performance liquid chromatography (DHPLC), molecular cloning, and DNA sequencing. A novel missense mutation in the CETP gene was identified. This mutation (L296Q) was a T-to-A conversion at codon 296 of exon 10 which replaced the codon for leucine (CTG) with the codon for glutamine (CAG). Association study revealed that L296Q mutation was associated with CHD with a significantly higher mutant allele frequency in the CHD patients than that in the controls (0. 160 vs. 0.091,x2= 9.014, P = 0.003., and that the odds ratio for the development of CHD was 1.83.for

The global robust exponential stability of a class of neural networks with polytopic uncertainties and distributed delays is investigated in this ***-dependent Lypaunov-Krasovskii functionals and free-weighting matrices are employed to obtain sufficient condition that guarantee the robust global exponential stability of the equilibrium point of the considered neural *** derived sufficient condition is proposed in terms of a set of relaxed linear matrix inequalities (LMIs),which can be checked easily by recently developed algorithms solving LMIs.A numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed criteria.

Stepped spillways for significant energy dissipation along the chute have gained interest; popularity among researchers; dam engineers. Due to the complexity of air-water two-phase flow over stepped spillways, the finite volume computational fluid dynamics module of the FLUENT software was used to simulate the main characteristics of the flow. Adopting the RNG k- turbulence model, the mixture flow model for air-water two-phase flow was used to simulate the flow field over stepped spillway with the PISO arithmetic technique. The numerical result successfully reproduced the complex flow over a stepped spillway of an experiment case, including the interaction between entrained air bubbles; cavity recirculation in the skimming flow regime, velocity distribution; the pressure profiles on the step surface as well. The result is helpful for understanding the detailed information about energy dissipation over stepped spillways.

Micromorphological Features of Diagnostic Horizons in Several soils in Southwest china: Implication for Soil Taxonomic Classification

The comparative studies on micromorphological features in diagnostic horizons of Stagnic Anthrosols, Ustic Ferrosols and Ustic Vertosols in southwestern china were conducted to underpin the rationale for Chinese Soil Taxonomy. The following findings were explored: (1) Stagnic Anthrosols had the specific micromorphological features, e.g., the humic formation in anthrostagnic epipedon, the platy structures in plow subhorizon, the secondary formation of ferromanganese and the weakly optical-orientation clay domains in hydragric horizon, etc.: (2) The groundmasses of ferric horizon in Ustic Ferrosols appeared in hue of 2.5YR or redder, and had pellicular grain structure; (3. Ustic Vertosols had a crust horizon (Acr), and crack structure dominated in Acr and angular blocky structure in disturbed horizon; (4) Because of the distinct differences in micromorphological features among these three soils, the specific micromorphological features might be employed as diagnostic horizons to differentiate soils while the quantifiable micromorphological features might potentially be selected as diagnostic indices for Chinese soil taxonomic classification.
