Orientation angle rotatability of planar serial n-link manipulators

This paper presents a new method of analyzing the orientation angle rotatability of a planar serial n-link manipulator by examining the rotatability of its virtual equivalent *** orientation boundary region decomposition is proposed based on the polynomial discriminant derived from a serial three-link *** angle workspace indicates a set of angle ranges by which the end-effector can reach with certain orientation for every point in the reachable position *** introducing a virtual equivalent mechanism,the open-chain kinematic problem is converted into a close-chain mechanism,and the Grashof-type condition is used to examine the rotatability of the end-effector *** reachable position workspace can be divided into several Grashof intervals and non-Grashof intervals based on the extreme positions and singular configurations of a *** derived equations in this paper can be used to calculate the variation rule of the orientation angle workspace of any given planar serial n-link manipulator on the basis of its link *** orientation angle rotatability of a seven-link serial manipulator is solved by the proposed method and graphical representations of the orientation angle workspaces are mapped onto a three-dimensional coordinate *** theoretical approach has practical significance for the design of a highly dexterous serial n-link manipulator with proposed link relations.

In comparision with finite element method （FEM）,the boundary element method （BEM） has unique advantages of dimension reduction and high accuracy. But the conventional BEM is not efficient for large scale problems because of the dense and nonsymmetric matrix formed by BEM. Moreover,for a conventional calculation,O（N3.or O（N2） operations O（N2）memory are required,where N is the number of degrees of freedom （DOF）. However,both can be reduced for the Fast Multipole Element Method （FM-BEM）.Since the FM-BEM is suitable for large scale problems,the FM-BEM has been investigated by many researchers recently. We further the research production of Shen Guangxian’s research group in yanshan university,that is,the 3. elastic FM-BEM,the program-pattern multipole BEM for frictional contact,the multipole BEM for 3. elasto-plastic contact with friction,and the 3. multipole BEM for potential problems. The above-mentioned methods have been developed,the theorical methods and experimentation results can be obtained,the FM-BEM has been applied to large scale engineering problems successfully. Firstly,we give the BEM formulation for 3. elasticity problems,also give the formulation of stress in the domain,and relevant basic kernels. Secondly,we introduce the basic solutions for 3. elasticity problems,and give the fast multipole method （FMM） expansions of the basic solutions,which have been used for 3. elasticity problems and rolling problems. Finally,we use the mathematical method of the FM-BEM for 3. elasticity problems,and the knowledge of the partial differential coefficient derive the FMM expansions of the kernels for 3. elastic FM-BEM,and complete the mathematical methods of the FM-BEM for 3. elasticity problems. We can obtain that the FMM expansions of kernels for 3. elasticity problems,this FMM expansions can be written as the form of 1/ R ,hence,we can use the mathematical methods of the FM-BEM for 3. elasticity problems,and the computation of the kernels can be simplied,the comput

＜正＞Based on the immune regulating law of organism,an artificial immune PID controller is *** to the character of fuzzy logic controller approaching to non-line function,using it as antibody-suppressed function to improve the self-adapting capability of immune PID controller. Fuzzy immune PID controller is applied in hydraulic bend system of reverse cold strip rolling,the result of emulation shows the controller has strong robustness and self-adaptive ability,and good control result is gained in shape control.

Generation and controlling of the dispersive wave by femtosecond pulses propagating in the normal dispersion regimes of the birefringent photonic crystal fiber

This paper studies the generation of the dispersive wave (DW) in the normal dispersion regimes of the birefringent photonic crystal fiber (BPCF) fabricated in this work. The remarkable blue-shifted radiation is found to be generated when 3. fs pulses are input in the normal dispersion regime of the BPCF for the first time. The characteristics of the blue-shifted DW strongly depend on the polarization of the input pulse. As a result, two peaks appear in the blue-shifted region of the spectrum when the input pulses polarize along the slow axis of the BPCF. With the increase of the center wavelength of the initial input pulse, the difference between the wavelengths of the two peaks widens. The peak location in the spectrum can be explained by the phase matching condition between the DW and the input pulse. In addition, when the input polarization is set to an angle of 45° with respect to the principal axes of the BPCF, the cross-phase modulation and coherent coupling between two orthogonally polarized modes would result in pulse trapping in the BPCF. Accordingly, the DW shift toward short wavelength is restrained. The DW generation in the normal-dispersion regimes of BPCF can be controlled by the phase matching condition and polarization of the input pulse.

The global stability of high arch dam is one of the key problems in the safety study of arch dams,but no feasible method with theoretical basis is *** this paper,based on the stability theory of mechanical system,it is demonstrated that the global failure of high arch dams belongs to a physical instability starting from local strength failure,which is the extreme point instability according to the characteristics of load-displacement curve obtained from the failure process of dam-foundation system. So the global failure of dam-foundation system should be studied with the stability theory of mechanical *** is also pointed out that the current stability analysis methods used in engineering are consistent with the stability theory,but not established according to the mechanical system stability theory directly.A perfect method can be obtained through the study of physical disturbance equations.

A new concept called intelligent virtual control (IVC), which can be drivenby measuring functions, is put forward. This small 'intelligent measurement instrument unit (IMIU)',carrying with functions of instrument, consists of different types of intelligent virtualinstrument (IVI) through individual components together as building blocks and can be displayeddirectly on the computer screen. This is a new concept of measuring instrument, and also animportant breakthrough after virtual instrument (VI). Virtual control makes instrument resourcesobtain further exploitation. It brings about a fundamental change to the design and manufacturingmode. The instrument therefore, can not only be produced directly inside a PC, but the product isinvolved in the 'green product' system. So far, all the present digital instruments will grow to bereplaced by intelligent control with green characteristics.

We show that the quantum-mechanical fundamental representations, say, the coordinate representation, the coherent state representation, the Fan-Klauder entangled state representation can be recast into s-ordering operator expansion, which is elegant in form and has many applications in deriving new operator identities. This demonstrates that Dirac's symbolic method can be merged into Newton-Leibniz integration theory in a broad way.

The methods of identifying geometric error parameters for NC machine tools are introduced. According to analyzing and comparing the different methods, a new method-displacement method with 9 lines is developed based on the theories of the movement errors of multibody system (MBS). A lot of experiments are also made to obtain 21 terms geometric error parameters by using the error identification software based on the new method.
