In most situations, the signer is generally a single person. However, when the message is written on behalf of an organization, a valid message may require the approval or consent of several persons. Threshold signature is a solution to this problem. Generally speaking, as an authority which can be trusted by all members does not exist, a threshold signature scheme without a trusted party appears more attractive. Following some ideas of the classical Shamir’s threshold signature scheme, a quantum threshold group signature one is proposed. In the proposed scheme, only t or more of n persons in the group can generate the group signature and any t-1 or fewer ones cannot do that. In the verification phase, any t or more of n signature receivers can verify the message and any t-1 or fewer receivers cannot verify the validity of the signature.

A threshold proxy quantum signature scheme with threshold shared verification is proposed. An original signer could authorize a group as its proxy signers. Then only t or more of n persons in the proxy group can generate the proxy signature on behalf of the original signer and any t-1 or fewer ones cannot do that. When the proxy signature needs to be verified,any t or more of n persons belonging to the verification group can verify the message and any t-1 or fewer ones cannot verify the validity of the proxy signature.

A threshold quantum secret sharing (TQSS) scheme between multi-party and multi-party was proposed using a sequence of single photons,which is useful and efficient when the parties of communication are not all present. We described the process of this TQSS scheme and discussed its security. It was shown that entan-glement is not necessary for quantum secret sharing. Moreover,the theoretic effi-ciency was improved to approach 100% as almost all the instances can be used for generating the private key,and each photon can carry one bit of information. This protocol is feasible with the present-day technique.

Most popular applications currently running on the Internet, the World Wide Web is of an exponential growth in size, which results in network congestion and server overloading. In this paper, we analyze the characteristics of SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) and the state-of-art techniques, which have been used in WebGIS. Then, the basic characteristics of DM3.database system were introduced; Furthermore, a novel N-tier WebGIS architecture based on SOAP and the framework supported both server-based and client\|based solutions are proposed. Finally, some experiments and implementations are shown.

The focus of this paper is to present the first threshold signature scheme based on biometric identity, which is acquired from a recently proposed fuzzy identities-based encryption scheme. An important feature of this scheme, which is different from other previous ID-based threshold signature schemes, is that it can be applied to situations using not only average personal attributes in social contact but also people’s noisy biometric inputs as identities. The security of our scheme in the selective-ID model reduces the limit in the hardness of the Decisional BDH Assumption.

The Er3.-Yb3. codoped Al2.3.nanoparticles with an average particle size of about 50 nm have been synthesized by an arc discharge synthesis method. The green and red up-conversion emissions centered at about 52., 547 and 677 nm, corresponding respectively to the 2.11/2.4I15/2. 4S3.2.4I15/2.and 4 F9/2.4I15/2.transitions of Er3., were detected by a 978-nm semiconductor laser diode excitation. The Annealing has evident effect on the up-conversion emissions of the samples: The red up-conversion emission is noticeable before annealing; however, the green up-conversion emission becomes predominant after annealing. The mixture of (Er,Yb)3.l5O12.and α-(Al,Er,Yb)2.3.phases is more favorable for green up-conversion emissions due to an enhancement of the ESA (I) of 4I11/2.a photon→4F7/2.and ET (III) of 2.5/2.Yb3.)+4I11/2.Er3.)→2.7/2.Yb3.)+4F7/2.Er3.) processes. The two-photon absorption up-conversion process is involved in the green and red up-conversion emissions. The results have proved that arc discharge synthesis is a new promising preparation technology for optical materials.
