Electrodes,catalysts,membranes,if present,are three main components in constructing an MFC for harvesting desired maximum power density and achieving higher coulombic efficiency (CE).Great improvements have been made,based on previous researches,in developing and diversifying materials,aside from *** most familiar to us are widely used carbon *** anodes,carbon matrix composites(e.g.,a combination of polyaniline(PANI)with TiO2 using carbon as substrate)have gained special attention,though carbon material itself can exhibit excellent performance by diversifying molecular structures such as carbon nanotubes(CNTs).In the meanwhile,the evolution of MFC architectures,heading to the direction of improving power generation,contributes to the combination of membranes and cathodes from separate modes to diverse assemblies,on which all sorts of catalysts,such as from commonly used Pt to iron phthalocyanine (Pc),metal tetramethoxyphenylporphyrin(TMPP),MnOx,or pyrolyzed iron(Ⅱ)phthalocyanine (pyr-FePc),can be immobilized through synthesis of these catalysts with polymer such as Nafion 117 (Dupont Co.,USA)or tetrafluoroethylen(eTeflon)containing functional groups or Polypyrrol(ePPy).In addition,catholytes with aqueous cathode immersed or flowing through the surface of air-cathode are favorably proposed containing transition metal redox couples or iron chelates.

Ecological security assessment and early warning research possess the attributes of spatiality, non-linearity and randomicity, so we must process much spatial information. Spatial analysis and data management are the advantages of GIS, which can define distribution trend and spatial relations of environmental factors, and show ecological security pattern graphically. Spatial differences of ecological security assessment based on GIS are discussed in this paper, of which the middle and lower reaches of the Liaohe River is taken as a study case. First, to work out pressure-state-response (P-S-R) assessment indicators system, and investigate in person and gather information; second, to digitize the watershed; third, to quantize and calculate by the fuzzy method; last, to construct GIS grid database, and expound spatial differences of ecological security by GIS interpolation and assembly analysis.

In older to collect fine particles more efficiently, a new-type electrostatic agglomerator with two zones was developed. The distinguishing feature of this electrostatic agglomerator is that the particles are bipolarly charged and coagulated in the same alternating electric field simultaneously. The silica flour with 2 fun mass median diameter and the smoke from burning wood powder were used as test aerosol. The comparison experimental results have shown that when the mean electric field is 4 kV/cm the collection efficiency of the new electrostatic agglomerator was 98.2% for silica flour and 67.4% for wood powder smoke, Under the same experimental condition. the collection efficiency of the electrostatic agglomerator with three zones was 97.4% for collecting silica flour and the collection efficiency of the electrostatic precipitator was 56.3. for wood powder smoke.

The layered LiNi0.6Co0.2-xMn0.2MgxO2 （x=0.00,0.03.0.05,0.07） cathode materials were prepared by a co-precipitation *** properties of the Mg-doped LiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2 were investigated by X-ray diffraction （XRD）,scanning electron microscopy （SEM）,and electrochemical *** studies showed that the Mg-doped LiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2 had the same layered structure as the undoped *** SEM images exhibited that the particle size of Mg-doped LiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2 was finer than that of the undoped LiNi0.6Co0.2 Mn0.2O2 and that the smallest particle size is only about 1μ*** Mg-doped LiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2 samples were investigated on the Li extraction/insertion performances through charge/discharge,cyclic voltammogram （CV）,and electrochemical impedance spectra（EIS）.The optimal doping content of Mg was that x= 0.03.in the LiNi0.6Co0.2-xMn0.2MgxO2 samples to achieve high discharge capacity and good cyclic *** electrode reaction reversibility and electronic conductivity was enhanced,and the charge transfer resistance was decreased through *** improved electrochemical performances of the Mg-doped LiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2 cathode materials are attributed to the addition of Mg 2＋ ion by stabilizing the layer structure.

Diacetylenic glycero-phosphatidylcholine is a chiral molecule with amphiphilic property, and it can self-assembly into a lipid microtubular structure. The lipid microtubule is a stable structure formed by tightly wound helical ribbons, and the ribbon-wrapping patterns have a significant effect on their chemical deposition on the microtubules. The deposition of colloidal Pd catalyst occurs mainly on the helical edge of the wound helical ribbons to form helical deposition lines of colloidal Pd particles in the interior and exterior of the lipid microtubules, resulting in an uneven chemical deposition of Ni on the microtubules. Catalyzed by as-deposited colloidal Pd, metallized Ni microtubules are characterized by a helical form, which may be in relation to inner stress due to the thickness difference or the different deposition processes. The observation of microtom shows that metallized tubules have a hollow structure. Some metallized tubules have a kind of coaxial double layer structure observed in the direct experiment evidence, indicating that metallization can occur in the inner and outer surface of the lipid tubules. Both lipid microtubules and metallized microtubules can be used as vehicles for encapsulating biological active molecules to control their release and to develop micro-components in biological and mechanical systems. In order to explore a teaching and learning model based on a combination of student-centered teaching concept with web-based teaching technology,a goal-oriented teaching model was put *** and analyzing the study results in three examinations of the learners,the learners performance in one-year web-based English listening autonomous learning model was *** learners were from 3.experimental classes with the goal-oriented teaching model and 3.control classes with the common autonomous learning model during one *** qualitative and quantitative data prove that the goal-oriented English listening learning model is feasible in china’s college English *** experimental group performed well in the examination in both the listening part and the comprehensive English *** on the data collected through questionnaires and the learners feedback,it can be seen that through the goal oriented model with teachers’instruction and supervising in their learning process students can not only fulfill their learning task better but also can exercise self-regulation and make selfadjustment,self-control while the control group found it *** study also shows that the new model can develop the students’interests in language learning and the ability of lifelong learning.

Triboelectric nanogenerators(TENGs)based on conjunctive effects of contact electrification(CE)and electrostatic induction are emerging as a new mechanical energy harvesting and sensing technique for promising applications in smart wearables,Internet of Things(IoTs),*** surface microstructure of a flexible triboelectric material for the increase of surface area is a common strategy for performance enhancement of TENGs,but the real roles of surface microstructures on their output performance are still not explicit due to the lack of suitable analysis tool and rational experimental *** advantages of the surface-sensitive characteristic of CE effect,this work exploited and developed the electric signal patterns generated by single impact of TENGs as a kind of CE spectrum to analyze and speculate the real roles of surface microstructures of flexible triboelectric materials on the output performance of ***,four different kinds of surface microstructures,namely planar surface(PS)and three combinations of two basic surface microstructures,i.e.,micro lens arrays(MLAs),fabric textures(FTs),and hierarchical structures of MLAs on FTs(MLA/FTs),were elaborately designed and introduced for an identical triboelectric material(i.e.,silicone elastomer)by a(micro)molding synthesis *** they were used for assembly of TENGs based on vertical contact mode to conduct performance evaluation under the same triggering *** systematic analysis and comparison of their highly repeatable CE spectra by programmed machine,it was found that the surface microstructure for a flexible triboelectric material to maximally enhance the output performance of a TENG shall achieve a positive synergistic effect of increasing triboelectric charge density,effective contact area and contacting/separating velocity,rather than simple increase of its surface area.

BACKGROUND: Ⅴ secretory phospholipase A2 (sPLA2-Ⅴ) is abundant in many mammal tissues. However, it remains unknown whether sPLA2-Ⅴ causes biological or pathological response in central nervous system. OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of phospholipase A2-Ⅴ (PLA2-Ⅴ) and its inhibitor (indoxam) on hippocampal neuron survival. DESIGN: A repetitive measurement. SETTING: The Animal Center of South Carolina university. MATERIALS: Sprague-Dawley pregnancy day-7, 14, 21 female rats were selected; Reagents: sPLA2- Ⅴ and indoxam were obtained from the Dennis Research Laboratories METHODS: The experiment was finished at the animal center in South Carolina university from January to December, 2004. 0, 12.5, 25, 50 and 100 μg/L sPLA2-Ⅴ were added to neuron with none-MgCl2 Eagle’s medium at 3. ℃, then changed to {3. neuron culture medium after 3.hours. 1, 2.5, 5 and 10 μmol/L indoxam was added at 6 hours after 100 μg/L sPLA2-Ⅴwas put to Day-21 SD rat hippocampal embryonic neurons with none-MgCl2 Eagle’s medium at 3. ℃. After 3.hours in the inhibition experiment, it was changed to {3. neuron culture medium. The embryonic hippocampal neurons were primarily cultured, and the neuron survival ratio was detected with morphological method. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Survival ratio of hippocampal neurons. RESULTS: ① Effects of sPLA2-Ⅴon neuron survival: When sPLA2-Ⅴ was 0, 12.5, 25, 50 and 100 μg/L, the neuron survival ratios in embryonic neurons of day-7 SD rats were (95.3.1.1)%, (81.4±3.1)%, (74.2±2.2)%, (62.4±1.7)% and (48.9±1.6)%, those in embryonic neurons of day-14 rats were (93.2±1.4)%, (74.3.1.9)%, (68.1±1.7)%, (56.1±1.4)% and (42.5±1.1)%, and those in embryonic neurons of day-21 rats were (91.2±1.2)%, (69.4±2.1)%, (60.3.2.2)%, (49.1±1.2)% and (3..5±1.9)%. Pt(Ⅱ) and Pd(Ⅱ) complexes with 2′,3.,4′,5,7-pentahydroxy-flavone weresynthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance, IR, ~1HNMR, TG-DTA, UV-Visspectroscopic techniques, and fluorescence analysis. The scavenging effect on the superoxide radical(O_2^-) and the inhibitory effect on lipid peroxides were also investigated. Both the ligand andthe complexes exhibit scavenging effect on superoxide radicals, and the effect of the complexes isgreater than that of the ligand. The Pt(Ⅱ) complex exhibits the strongest scavenging *** Pt(Ⅱ) and Pd(Ⅱ) complexes have the inhibitory effect on lipid peroxides, and the effect ofthe complexes is greater than that of the ligand, but the Pt(Ⅱ) complex has a high effect ofpromoting lipid peroxides.
