A voxel phantom of Chinese adult male called CNMAN for radiation protection was constructed from color photographs of a Visible Anatomical Data *** data set was obtained from a 3.-y-old Chinese male cadaver by a medical university in *** man was 170cm high and weighed 65 kg,which had the same weight and height as the Asian Reference *** man was dead without any pathological *** transversal anatomical photographs for whole body were 3.072 pixels by 2048 *** data set used in this construction had a voxel size of 0.16 mm×0.16mm× 1 *** the photographs were semi-automatically segmented,the voxel phantom（CNMAN）was constructed consisting of 29 tissues or *** with the Monte Carlo transport code,preliminary results for radiation protection dosimetry were obtained based on this Chinese voxel phantom.

Plasmid DNA was irradiated or implanted by mixed particle field(CR) or lithium-ion-beam to detect strand *** primary results showed that mixed particle field could induce single and double strand breaks with positive linear-dose-effects;most of sequence changes induced by CR were point ***-ion-beam could induce strand breaks also,but it was only at dose of 20Gy.

Vacuum ultraviolet radiation of Upilex-S polyimide film 25 μm thick was performed using a gas jet type of vacuum ultraviolet simulator which gives unfixed wavelength from 5 nm to 200 *** redeposited on the films were observed and the nanoparticles formed on the surface consist mainly of carbon *** in the composition and the chemical characteristics of film surface after radiation were identified by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).Relative O content in the radiated area was found to be higher,while N content was lower than in the pristine *** indicates that Upilex-S polyimide film releases N atoms as volatile *** the C1s,O1s envelopes were fitted using Multipak Spectrum *** surface morphologies on iradiated area were examined by atomic Force Microscope(AFM).Pieces of radiant products protrude from the eradiated surface,leading to considerable roughness for the iradiated *** the surface transmittance of Upilex-S film after radiation reduces.

This paper deals with the solution of a neutron transport equation with parameter δ.Usingthe theory of functional analysis,we discuss the distribution of the parameters which make the equationhave a non-zero solution,and obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of thecontrol critical eigenvalue δ0 which possesses a physical meaning.

The proton resonant properties in 18Ne, which determine the reaction rate of the key stellar 14O(α,p)17F reaction, have been studied by using a technique of proton resonant elastic scattering of 17F+p. A 4.22 MeV/nucleon 17F radioactive ion (RI) beam was produced via a projectile-fragmentation reaction, and separated by a Radioactive Ion Beam Line in Lanzhou (RIBLL). By bombarding a thick (CH2)n target, the energy spectra of the recoiled protons were measured by two ΔE-E silicon telescopes at the center-of-mass scattering angles of θc.m.≈175°±5°, θc.m.≈152°±8°, respectively. Several proton resonances in 18Ne were ob served clearly. A further R-matrix analysis of the experimental data is under way to determine the resonant parameters. The present work reports the preliminary results briefly.
