Transmit diversity is an important multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) approach to improve the transmission reliability;however,it is usually designed with maximum-likelihood *** this paper,we investigate a simple transceiver structure for single-carrier MIMO systems,in which the cyclic-delay time-reversal space-time block code (CDTR-STBC) is employed at the transmitter,and the frequency-domain decision-feedback equalization (FD-DFE) is used at the *** separate the transmit antennas into two groups,and then,encode the groups by STBC and cyclically delay the data streams within each *** processing can mitigate the impact of error-propagation and reduce the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) loss when FD-DFE is employed,in which SNR is defined as the ratio of the received signal power over the noise power at each receive *** support our proposal,this paper also provides the performance analysis of *** is shown that the proposed scheme can achieve full diversity and full transmission rate for a MIMO system employing arbitrary ***,it has considerable performance improvement over the existing schemes.

FAST RECURSIVE LEAST SQUARES LEARNING ALGORITHM FOR PRINCIPAL COMPONENT ANALYSIS

2-dimensional Principal Component Analysis （2DPCA） has received more and more attentions in recent years,since it can evaluate the covariance matrix more accurate than PCA in extracting features from 2-dimensional images. However,a drawback of 2DPCA is that it needs more features than PCA because 2DPCA only eliminates the correlations between rows. In this paper,two-stage 2DPCA is proposed to extract features from synthetic aperture radar （SAR） images to further compress the dimension of features and decrease the recognition computation. Experimental results based on MSTAR data indicate that two-stage 2DPCA can decrease feature dimensions significantly,and the target recognition performance can be improved at the same time.

Based on the least-square minimization a computationally efficient learning algorithm for the Principal Component Analysis(PCA) is derived. The dual learning rate parameters are adaptively introduced to make the proposed algorithm providing the capability of the fast convergence and high accuracy for extracting all the principal components. It is shown that all the information needed for PCA can be completely represented by the unnormalized weight vector which is updated based only on the corresponding neuron input-output product. The convergence performance of the proposed algorithm is briefly *** relation between Oja’s rule and the least squares learning rule is also established. Finally, a simulation example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of this algorithm for PCA.

The key of the subspace-based Direction Of Arrival (DOA) estimation lies in the estimation of signal subspace with high quality. In the case of uncorrelated signals while the signals are temporally correlated, a novel approach for the estimation of DOA in unknown correlated noise fields is proposed in this paper. The approach is based on the biorthogonality between a matrix and its Moore-Penrose pseudo inverse, and made no assumption on the spatial covariance matrix of the noise. The approach exploits the structural information of a set of spatio-temporal correlation matrices, and it can give a robust and precise estimation of signal subspace, so a precise estimation of DOA is obtained. Its performances are confirmed by computer simulation results.

Based on propagator method, a fast 2-D Angle-Of-Arrival (AOA) algorithm is proPosed in this paper. The proposed algorithm does not need the Eigen-Value Decomposition (EVD) or Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) of the Sample Covariance Matrix (SCM), thus the fast algorithm has lower computational complexity with insignificant performance degradation when comparing with conventional subspace approaches. Furthermore, the proposed algorithm has no performance degradation. Finally, computer simulations verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

A computationally efficient method for jointly estimating both Directions Of Arrival (DOA) and ranges of near field sources is presented. The proposed algorithm does not need any spectral peak searching and the 2-D parameters are automatically paired. It is suitable for arbitrary additive Gaussian noise environment. Furthermore, its performances are confirmed by computer simulations.

A novel frequency estimation algorithm for wideband signal with sub-Nyquist sampling is proposed in this paper. With the aid of information provided by the auxiliary delayed sampling channel and the aliased frequency estimation for wideband signal with sub-Nyquist sampling, the frequency aliasing due to sub-Nyquist sampling can be solved. This method can reduce the complexity of the overall hardware at the cost of an auxiliary sampling channel. Furthermore, in order to alleviate the computation burden for its practicability, a more simplified algorithm is put forward and its validity is proved by our numerical simulation results. The Cramer-Rao Lower Bound (CRLB) of the frequency estimation is also derived at the end of this paper.
