A Network-Based VPN Architecture Using Virtual Routing

A network-based Virtual Private Network (VPN) architecture by using fundamental routing mechanism is proposed. This network is a virtual overlay network based on the relay of IP-in-IP tunneling of virtual routing modules. The packet format employs the encapsulation of IPSec ESP(Encapsulating Security Payload), an impact path code and an extended DS(Differentiated Services) code to support multi-path routing and QoS. Comparing with other models of VPN, this network system can be deployed in the current network with little investment, and it is easy to implement. The simulation result shows its performance is better than the traditional VPN system of black box mode.

This paper discusses two kinds of systems integrated models available to DSS: Multi-Agent-Based Model and Application-Framework-Oriented Model. Both of them are application-oriented integration so it is possible to combine them at the level of application. Based on this theory, this paper presents a new model, MAAFUM, which combines two models and applies them synthetically in DSS.

The effects of Mo on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Ti（C,N）-based cermets with low Ni have been studied systematically. Different contents of Mo （4-12.wt.%） were added into Tl（C,N）-based cermets. Specimens were fabricated by conventional powder metallurgy and vacuum sintered at temperatures of 1440, 1450, and 1460℃ individually. The microstructure and fracture morphology were investigated by scanning electron microscope, and the mechanical properties such as transverse strength and hardness were measured. The results show that the microstructure is uniform and the thickness of rim phase is moderate when the content of Mo is 8 wt.%; the mechanical properties of the specimens sintered at 1450℃ are better than those sintered at 1440 and 1460℃. The integrated properties of transverse strength and hardness are the best when the content of Mo is 8 wt.% and the sintering temperature is 1450℃.

The paper presents the coupling of artificial intelligence-AI and Object-oriented methodology applied for the construction of the model-based decision support system *** MBDSS is designed for support the strategic decision making lead to the achievemellt of optimal path towardsmarket economy from the central planning situation in China. To meet user's various requirements,a series of innovations in software development have been carried out, such as system formalization with OBFRAMEs in an object-oriented paradigm for problem solving automation and techniques of modules intelligent cooperation, hybrid system of reasoning, connectionist framework utilization,etc. Integration technology has been highly emphasized and discussed in this article and an outlook to future software engineering is given in the conclusion section.

In Arrow’s General Possibility Theorem (GPT), social choice should be defined over allpairs of alternatives. In this paper, we generalize Arrow’s GPT to situations where choice over pairs ofalternatives may not be possible. This shows that Arrow’s GPT and related impossibility results canbe established without binariness of social choice.

Inhibition of Fas-mediated Apoptosis in Yac-1 Cell via Anti-Fas Ribozyme

To detect a new and more effective way against apoptosis mouse lymphomatic cell line- Yac-1 in which fas gene was expressed highly was used as a model for studying the effects of anti-Fas ribozyme on Fas-mediated apoptosis. A hammerhead ribozyme gene targeting the fas mRNA was synthesized and its in vitro transcription vector was constructed, which was transfected into Yac-1 cells using electroporation. Rz596 expression was detected using RT-PCR, and Fas expression in Yac-1 cells was detected using RT-PCR, Western blot and flow cytometry. After treated with anti-Fas antibody (JO2), Yac-1 cell viability was measured with MTT assay, caspase-3 proteolytic activity was detected, and cell apoptosis was measured according to annexin V apoptosis detecting kit. Anti-Fas ribozyme could cleave fas mRNA efficiently in vivo and in vitro. Fas expression in Yac-1 cells transfected with anti-Fas ribozyme was decreased remarkably and correlated with resistance to Fas-mediated apoptosis as determined by flow cytometry and caspase-3 proteolytic activity. Anti-Fas ribozyme was detected in cells transfected with pU6-RZ596 and pU6-dRZ596 and could remarkably decrease the Fas expression in Yac-1 cells, which made Yac-1 cells get rid of Fas-mediated apoptosis. Because of wide expression of fas in organs and tissues, our research was very useful for studying the inhibition of apoptosis of many organs and tissues in the future.

Nitrogen isotopic geochemical characteristics of crude oils in several basins of China

Nitrogen isotopic ratios of crude oils with different physical and chemical properties in several basins of China have been measured and their geochemistry has been studied ele-mentally combined with molecular organic geochemistry methods. The data indicate that δ 15N is in the range of ?6‰-20‰. They vary with the oils in different sedimentary types of basins. The oils forming in the limnic environment have lower δ 15N with the value of about 1‰-5‰ whereas the oils in saline or semi-saline environment have higher δ 15N, with most samples being above 10‰ and some exceeding 17‰. The average nitrogen isotopic ratio of oils from the Ordovician formation in the Tarim Basin is the lowest, with most samples having δ 15N below zero, which reflects possibly the characteristic of the oils originating mainly from the organic matter formed in marine carbonate sedimentary environment. The δ 15N distribution can be altered by fractionation. It increases obviously because of biodegradation and decreases during hydrocarbon migration. However, the effect of nitrogen isotopic fractionation in the short distance migration is uncon-spicuous.

Therapeutic effects of berberine in impaired glucose tolerance rats and its influence on insulin secretion

AIM: To explore the anti-diabetic effects of berberine and its influence on insulin secretion. METHODS: Impaired glucose tolerance rats induced by iv injection of streptozotocin 30 mg/kgwere treated with berberine 187.5 and 562.5 mg/kg while fed with high fat laboratory chow. After rats were treated for 4 weeks, oral glucose tolerance was determined, and for 8 weeks, the fasting blood glucose, insulin, lipid series were determined. In insulin secretion experiments, berberine 93.75, 187.5, and 562.5 mg/kg was administered orally to BALB/c mice at a bolus. The murine serum was collected 2 h after the berberine administration for insulin determination. Insulin released from HIT-T15 cells and pancreatic islets incubated with berberine 1-100 μmol/L for 12.h was determined. RESULTS: The levels of fasting blood glucose (7.4±1.5 or 7.3±1.3 vs 9.3±1.3 mmol/L), triglycerides (0.61±0.22 or 0.63± 0.17 vs 1.8±0.7 mmol/L), total cholesterol (1.8±0.3 or 1.9±0.3 vs 2.2±0.2 mmol/L), free fatty acid (456±93 or 460±72 vs 550±113 μmol/L) and apolipoprotein B (0.37±0.02 or 0.42±0.05 vs 0.46±0.04 g/L) were reduced greatly in berberine-treated groups at doses of 187.5 and 562.5 mg·kg-1·d-1, respectively as compared with those in control group (P3 or 1.4±0.3vs 1.1±0.1 g/L), apolipoprotein AI (0.80±0.08 or 0.87±0.08 vs 0.71±0.06 g/L) were significantly increased (P3±2.8 pIU/L) was undoubtedly promoted and blood glucose (4.52±0.31 or 4.45±0.29 or 4.30±0.19 vs 4.87±0.21 mmol/L) was reduced after berberine administration at doses of 93.75, 187.5, and 562.5 mg/kg, respectively in the BALB/c mice. This paper analyzes the current situation of enterprise information system and methods of system integration at first. Then a role-based analyzing method is proposed. It can help confirm the keystone of the construction of information system and the direction of system integration. At last, a case study on the integration of material dispatching information system in a large-scale project is presented briefly. It shows that this new method is more effective than the others are.
