This paper studies denumerable continuous-time Markov decision processes with expected total reward criteria. The authors first study the unconstrained model with possible unbounded transition rates, and give suitable conditions on the controlled system＇s primitive data under which the authors show the existence of a solution to the total reward optimality equation and also the existence of an optimal stationary policy. Then, the authors impose a constraint on an expected total cost, and consider the associated constrained model. Basing on the results about the unconstrained model and using the Lagrange multipliers approach, the authors prove the existence of constrained-optimal policies under some additional conditions. Finally, the authors apply the results to controlled queueing systems.

This paper presents a novel approach to structure determination of linear systems along with the choice of system orders and parameters. AutoRegressive （AR）, Moving Average （MA） or AutoRegressive-Moving Average （ARMA） model structure can be extracted blindly from the Third Order Cumulants （TOC） of the system output ts, where the unknown system is driven by an unobservable stationary independent identically distributed （i.i.d.） non-Gaussian signal. By means of the system order recursion, whether the system has an AR structure or has AR part of an ARMA structure is firstly investigated. MA features in the TOC domain is then applied as a threshold to decide if the system is an MA model or has MA part of an ARMA model. Numerical simulations illustrate the generality of the proposed blind structure identification methodology that may serve as a guideline for blind, linear system modeling.

There are varieties of embedded systems in the world. It is a big challenge to optimize the instruction sets of System on Chips (SoCs) according to different systems' working environments. The idea of programmable instruction set is an effective method to gain embedded system's re-configurability. This letter presents a logic module for Java processor to be capable of using programmable instruction set. Cost (area, power, and timing) of the module is trivial. Such module is also reusable for other embedded system solutions besides Java systems.

Recently, many different types of artificial neural networks （ANNs） have been applied to forecast stock price and good performance is obtained. However, most of these models use only a small number of features as input and there may not be enough information to make prediction due to the complexity of stock market. If having a larger number of features, the run time of training would be increased and the generalization performance would be deteriorated due to the curse of dimension. Therefore, an effective tool to extract highly discriminative low-dimensional features from the high-dimensional raw input would be a great help in improving the generalization performance of the regression model. Restricted Boltzmann Machine （RBM） is a new type of machine learning tool with strong power of representation, which has been utilized as the feature extractor in a large variety of classification problems. In this paper, we use the RBM to extract discriminative low-dimensional features from raw data with dimension up to 32., and then use the extracted features as the input of Support Vector Machine （SVM） for regression. Experimental results indicate that our approach for stock price prediction has great improvement in terms of low forecasting errors compared with SVM using raw data.

Members of the caveolin family played important roles during fundamental cellular processes,such as regulation of cell morphology,migration,and gene expression in muscle *** this study,caveolin-1 (Cav-1),one of the caveolins,was identified from longissimus dorsi muscle of Large Yorkshire pig and Chinese indigenous Lantang pig based on the results of mRNA differential display *** deduced amino acids sequence of the porcine Cav-1 contained a caveolin domain,and was very conservative among different *** Cav-1 mRNA was widely expressed in the eight tissues in this study,including heart,liver,kidney,encephalon,spleen,lung,longissimus dorsi muscle,and back fat, and the highest expression quantity was found in back fat of the two pig *** expression quantity of porcine Cav-1 in back fat and longissimus dorsi muscle of Lantang pig was significantly higher than that of Large Yorkshire(Pinformation for understanding the mechanism of caveolae signaling in fat deposition by using the animal model of pig.

We propose a fully discrete fast Fourier-Galerkin method for solving an integral equation of the first kind with a logarithmic kernel on a smooth open arc,which is a reformulation of the Dirichlet problem of the Laplace equation in the *** optimal convergence order and quasi-linear complexity order of the proposed method are established.A precondition is *** this method with an efficient numerical integration algorithm for computing the single-layer potential defined on an open arc,we obtain the solution of the Dirichlet problem on a smooth open arc in the *** examples are presented to confirm the theoretical estimates and to demonstrate the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method.

In this paper,we address the problem of unsuperised social network embedding,which aims to embed network nodes,including node attributes,into a latent low dimensional *** recent methods,the fusion mechanism of node attributes and network structure has been proposed for the problem and achieved impressive prediction ***,the non-linear property of node attributes and network structure is not efficiently fused in existing methods,which is potentially helpful in learning a better network *** this end,in this paper,we propose a novel model called ASM(Adaptive Specific Mapping)based on encoder-decoder *** encoder,we use the kernel mapping to capture the non-linear property of both node attributes and network *** particular,we adopt two feature mapping functions,namely an untrainable function for node attributes and a trainable function for network *** the mapping functions,we obtain the low dimensional feature vectors for node attributes and network structure,***,we design an attention layer to combine the learning of both feature vectors and adaptively learn the node *** encoder,we adopt the component of reconstruction for the training process of learning node attributes and network *** conducted a set of experiments on seven real-world social network *** experimental results verify the effectiveness and efficiency of our method in comparison with state-of-the-art baselines.

This study aims to discuss the effect of preventing pathological changes and cognitive degeneration of Tg2.76 mice by inoculating the subunit fragment of Aβ ***-two Tg2.76 mice were randomly divided into four groups, each having eight mice:Group I, the control group, inoculated with adjuvants;Group II, the Aβ42.group, inoculated with Aβ42.vaccine;Group Ⅲ, the Aβ1―15 group, inoculated with Aβ1―15 vaccine;and Group IV, the Aβ36―42.group, inoculated with Aβ36―42.*** titer of the serum anti-body against Aβ42.Group II) was significantly higher than that of the control group(Group I), and a low level of antibodies could be detected in the brain homogenate in the three vaccine-inoculated *** water maze test showed that the Aβ42.group, Aβ1―15 group and Aβ36―42.group were obviously im-proved compared with the control *** cultured splenocytes sampled from each group were induced by Con A or their respective antigens, and the cell proliferation of the three vaccine-inoculated groups was significantly higher than that of the control *** the Aβ42.group, IL2.and IFN-γ were relatively low and IL4 and IL10 were relatively *** contrast, IL4 and IL10 were much higher in the Aβ1―15 group and IL2.and IFN-γ were much higher in the Aβ36―42.*** immunohistochemical test showed a large number of senile plaques in the brain cortex and hippocampus of the mice in the con-trol group, no senile plaque in the brain of the Aβ1―15 group and Aβ42.group mice, and a small number of senile plaques in the brain of the Aβ36―42.group *** results suggest that the subunit fragment of Aβ1―15 vaccine could prevent not only cognitive and behavioral degeneration but also Aβ deposition and formation of senile plaques in Tg2.76 mice.

Surface with TiO2.nanotube arrays(TNTAs)is superhydrophilic and of great specific *** paper investigates the pool boiling characteristics at the thermal interface with *** results show that the TNTAs interface can enhance the pool boiling heat transfer compared to the pure Ti metal *** bubbles formed at the initial nucleation state are very small and released in higher *** pool boiling heat transfer enhancement at the TNTAs interface may be attributed to the high density of nucleate site,high intrinsic heating area of nanotubes layer,superhydrophilicity and the vertically oriented nanotube structure.
